The hotel's location is excellent, with a direct elevator from the MM line subway right to the hotel entrance, making it very convenient for getting around. The rooms are quite spacious and come with a microwave, a mini-fridge, and a countertop. The breakfast is quite generous, mainly Japanese and Western style. The front desk provides common amenities like toothbrushes, toothpaste, and combs, but there are no small-sized skincare products or facial cleansers, which some other hotels do offer.

Anonymous UserThe room's decor is a bit dated, but thankfully it was quite clean and tidy, with a separate wet and dry area and various disposable toiletries provided. The location is super convenient, connected directly to the subway station and Queen's Plaza.
However, the service attitude was quite mediocre. When I asked if I could swap the beer for purified water (which was actually in the mini-bar), they didn't seem to understand and just kept saying no, without even much of an apology. If there's a misunderstanding, they could try to communicate more patiently. It felt like they were unwilling to engage in any extra service-related communication.
On my departure day, I had an early flight and breakfast hadn't opened yet. I asked if there were any solutions – I wasn't even asking for a refund – and they just said no, there was nothing they could do. I then asked if they could provide a packed breakfast, like bread and milk, and they said no because breakfast wasn't open yet.
In the end, Trip.com had to help resolve the issue. What I really needed was better communication and a more accommodating attitude from the hotel staff. It felt like their default response was 'no' and they were unwilling to help. ☹️

Erik ChiangI recently had the pleasure of staying at the JR-East Hotel Mets Yokohama Tsurumi, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The location is incredibly convenient, especially for travelers looking to explore Yokohama or needing easy access to Tokyo. Being right next to Tsurumi Station makes it incredibly easy to get around without relying too much on taxis or long walks.
The room itself was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Though not overly spacious, it made efficient use of space, ensuring a pleasant stay. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless.
What stood out most was the exceptional service provided by the staff. They were always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The complimentary breakfast offered a nice variety of both Japanese and Western options, which was a great way to start the day.
If I had to find any fault, it would be that the hotel is located in a quieter part of Yokohama, which might not suit everyone's taste. However, for me, it added to the charm and made for a peaceful retreat after busy days of sightseeing.
Overall, I highly recommend the JR-East Hotel Mets Yokohama Tsurumi for its comfort, convenience, and outstanding hospitality. It offers excellent value for money and is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting the Yokohama area.

The room was quite spacious, and being right by the sea, I could enjoy ocean views from the window. The location is super convenient – it's only about 300-400 meters from the Big Ferris Wheel, 700-800 meters from the Red Brick Warehouse, 200 meters from the Convention Center, and 300-400 meters from the Portside Shopping Area. Chinatown is roughly 1.3 km away, and Noge Yokocho is about 1.2 km. Absolutely fantastic location!

Guest UserOverall, a pleasant stay. The bed is extremely comfy. Having three pillows is a plus. Compared to the conventional hotel in Tokyo, this hotel is relatively large for this standard. The view from the hotel is decent. It’s wished that there are washing machines available. One critical thing is that the room is quite dusty though… You can see the dust floating under the light at the entrance.
As for the transportation, it’s around a 3-4 minute walk from Shin-Takashima station (an extra 210yen if you depart from Yokohama station).
You can also walk from Yokohama station, but it takes around 15 minutes (and drains quite a lot of stamina if you are carrying your luggage around)
The area around the hotel is quite modern but not overwhelming crowded (maybe there wasn’t a concert at KT Zepp Yokohama during my stay at the hotel). There is two 711 nearby and a small-scale food court as well. Other than that, there are not much to shop nearby.
In a nutshell, a good hotel with a quiet but not intimidating ambience at night. A less dusty room would be highly appreciated. The location is good enough if paying a 420 yen-round trip everyday for one stop from Yokohama is not financially burdening to you.

If you’re looking for a hotel near K-Arena, this one is absolutely worth considering.
The location is excellent, situated in a business district with plenty of restaurants available during the daytime. There’s a 7-Eleven on the first floor, which is very convenient, although it closes at 11:00 PM. After around 9:00 PM, it can be a bit difficult to find late-night food nearby. However, the vending machines offer options like takoyaki and pork teriyaki rice, which are helpful for a quick late-night meal.
The room is spacious enough for two people and offers a great view. The bathroom is large and separated from the toilet, which makes it more comfortable to use.
Amenities are available at the lobby for guests to pick up, and they provide everything you might need—cleansing oil, face wash, cotton buds, conditioner, shaving cream, shaving kits, and more. Pajamas are also provided in the room, and they are very comfortable.
One of the highlights is the onsen located on the lobby floor, open until 1:00 AM. It’s perfect for relaxing after a long day of meetings or events.
There is also a laundry area with washing and drying machines at a very affordable price. However, the dryer may not fully dry clothes even after 90 minutes, so keep that in mind.
The lobby area is suitable for working late into the night. Wi-Fi is strong, and complimentary coffee and hot tea are available 24/7.
The TV is excellent—Sharp 4K with good sound quality—perfect for watching your own Netflix content.
Overall, a great stay, especially for business travelers or anyone attending events at K-Arena.

BunjinIt was a comfortable bed that came with a TV and headphones, everyday fresh loungewear and towels would be provided and there was a large communal area with sinks and vanities. However, you will be asked to leave the hostel or wait in the reception lounge between 11am and 4pm. The receptionist I spoke to had a high level of english.

The hotel is short walking distance from shin-yokohama station. Check in was easy and smooth. Out room was a bit small and tired , typical business japanese style but the furniture looked worn. The bathroom was also japanese style : no window + small bathtub with shower and minimal (well equipped) space overall. If you are lucky enough to get an upper floor room , the view from the big window is nice. On the basement there is a 7Eleven and just out of the hotel it is plenty of shops/restaurants

The hotel is right on Zhonghua Food Street, so it's very easy to find. The front desk was staffed by a very kind old Japanese gentleman. The room space was decent, with a separate wet and dry area, and even a dedicated desk area. The overall space was quite large. The facilities were average, but overall it was a good stay.

Since it was my first time making a reservation, I had some trouble getting into the room, but they responded quickly so there was no problem. The accommodation fee was cheap, so I was able to spend more money on sightseeing. There were convenience stores, restaurants, and parking lots nearby, so it was comfortable.
