Hotels near Urami Waterfall in Nikko

"It is far from Tobu Niko station and relatively close to the main attractions. Of the pluses, two private onsens can be accommodated in two or three. One is laid out with a tile, the other is stone (used by a great demand, understandable case). If you take the onsen, no one will enter it anymore. To let the guests know whether the onsen is free and which special signal lamps are made, it is convenient. The Onsens work from 16 to 23 hours, so it is impossible to get down in the morning. Like I think, the water is cold and the rooms are closed - I love outdoors. The breakfast was unexpected, but they are fed exclusively with different baking (for a long time, so many tests have not eaten). It is also possible to buy frozen dishes for cheap and immediately distribute them in a microwave. In the bathroom and toilet room, the yucata is issued on demand. A beautiful living room where you can sit in the evening (if not too many guests). Here, where to sit in the street evening, it is not very clear, because near the Onsens there is a smoke zone with shops, but there is not a very nice smell."

"Choosing this hotel for our trip to Nikko was a great decision. The price was perfect for someone on a regular budget. The hotel was clean, and its location near Tobu Nikko Station was fantastic, about 300 meters if you follow the right navigation. My navigation kept changing directions after I got off the train, so I had to ask a local shop owner for directions, and then it was easy to find. Just walk a few steps down the small road past the post office, and you're there. The hotel offers free breakfast to all guests, and it's quite good! The room was clean, and the view from the window was lovely, with mountains and clouds, very picturesque! There's also a large supermarket across the street where you can buy delicious and reasonably priced sashimi."

"The accommodation is great and the staff are lovely. You can leave your luggage both before check-in and after check-out. The facilities are complete, and tea and coffee are provided."

"I arrived late and thanked you for accepting it well despite the check-in time. The accommodation was spacious and clean, and the bath was good because the operation time was long."

"It’s been such a nice stay, the room is large and clean, the traditional decor is perfectly introduced into the vibe of Nikko. The dinner and breakfast were perfectly served. Plus, they have a very nice souvenir shop on the first floor, bought a few socks there. Finally, the onsen was brilliant, also large room and a small onsen outside on a balcony. I regret staying only for one night."

"The hosts were friendly. They let us leave our suitcase until check-in, and they even carried it to our room themselves. Breakfast is at 8:00 AM, dinner at 6:00 PM. Dinner was so filling, we barely made it 😅 We were there during peak season, late October, and to get to the lake, you have to take a bus from the train station. So, you have to go to the train station first, then take the right bus. There's a bus stop (number 14) right outside the hotel, but the bus passes by because it's full. We had a room with a private onsen, which was amazing."

"The guesthouse is quite a way from Nikko town (10-15 mins by bus / 1 hour walk) but is in a good location for getting to the shrines or to Lake Ashi - there's a bus stop close by. The guesthouse was homely and had 2 private onsen. Our room was comfortable enough although the en-suite was very tiny! The host was welcoming but didn't speak any English which meant we had to communicate by translating on our phones. We booked to have breakfast at the guesthouse, but didn't realise that for booking the dinner we needed to give 24 hours+ notice so missed out!"

"4.5 stars!  Property is older but extremely well maintained.  The corner western/Japanese rooms are spacious with two western beds and tatami area, single japanese bath and shower area and separate toilet area, mini fridge, tv, sitting area overlooking the river and table with four chairs as well as a massage chair!  Onsen area has both indoor and outdoor areas separate for men and women and a cold plunge as well as multiple hot baths.  Minus half a star for low staffing in the store/cafe areas (often no staff member to be found when kakigori desired), no in house lunch option and overly fatty meat on the 3rd night dinner (breakfast and dinner were LARGE and BEAUTIFUL but perhaps heavy on the yuba.  Also, shuttle to the train station is only at 10 and 11am and getting cabs is difficult.  However, would overwhelmingly recommend Nikko Senhime Monogatari!"

"For approximately HKD 1600, the package includes Western-style lunch and dinner for two (high-quality ingredients, delicious food), and complimentary family-style hot spring (time to be arranged upon check-in). The bedroom faces the lake of Chungzenji Temple. Transportation is extremely convenient; it's just a short walk to the hotel by bus. Huayan Waterfall and Chungzenji Temple (with its standing wooden Kannon statue) are within walking distance. I was driving, which made it even more convenient, as there are ample free parking spaces. All staff are friendly and flexible (breakfast was originally at 8:00, but they changed it to 7:30 because I was in a hurry). This is a highly recommended hotel. The restaurant has a romantic ambiance with an electronic piano, making it more suitable for couples, lovers, or those seeking a tranquil getaway."

"Hotel location is good! Opposite is Shenqiao, about 10 minutes away from Toshogu Shrine and Erhuangshan Shrine. The hotel staff was polite, the rooms were not as old as expected, and they were neat. There is a tea room on each floor, with green tea, barley tea and hot water supply. Although the bath is not hot spring water, fatigue can be eliminated after bathing. Breakfast is simple and delicious. The only drawback is that you cannot store your luggage after check out. Attach a landscape photo outside the room."
