Amazing
KKelley niceAbsolutely a five-star review! 💯 The owners are a couple who speak excellent English. The guesthouse is in a superb location, just about a 15-minute Uber ride from the airport. Before check-in, they send an email with all the necessary details, which is very thoughtful. This truly felt like a hidden gem in Jeju. The room was incredibly clean and silent. The towels had a fresh, clean scent, not that typical disinfectant smell. The whole environment was spotless, perfect for a weary business traveler to relax by the sea and enjoy a peaceful, sunny moment, and also great for a leisurely vacation since there isn't much to explore in downtown Jeju anyway. There's a McDonald's right downstairs, so if you're making a light meal in the guesthouse, it's also nice to have the option of McDonald's fast food. The entire street along the coast is lined with charming cafes and restaurants, all very chilling. The owners are super warm and kind. On my first day, the hostess personally showed me to my room and explained in detail how to use all the equipment in English, as everything was in Korean. She also reminded me to close the bathroom curtain, even though the window isn't visible from the outside. At check-out, the owner even gave me a bar of Italian soap! 🧼 So friendly! She also told me she's visited Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, and Macau in China. I'll definitely choose Jeju Ollero again on my next trip to Jeju! 👍🏻

GGuest UserThe room quality is on par with budget hotels like Home Inn or even older Crown Plaza hotels in China, so don't expect too much when you book here. The cleanliness is about the same. It's comparable to a room under 200 RMB in a first-tier city or around 100 RMB in a second-tier city. The wardrobe, desk, sofa, and even the bedding all look quite old and well-used. Although it states it was renovated in 2023, it still feels run-down, more like a renovation from around 2014. The cleanliness reflects this; there were water stains on the sink, and while there's a bathtub, I didn't dare use it. Luckily, I didn't see any obvious mold spots. The front desk staff's attitude was neither particularly good nor particularly bad. Overall, if you're booking this room, don't compare it to hotels priced above 400 RMB in China. Instead, think of it as a 200 RMB room in a first-tier city or a 100 RMB room in a second or third-tier city, with a renovation from around 2014.

GgoodwengThis was my second trip to Jeju Island. The first time was over ten years ago on a group tour, and I don't even remember where we stayed. This time, I found this hotel on Ctrip. No breakfast, and it cost over 1200 [currency unit]. They called it a 'sea-view room,' but it was miles away from the beach. I felt the value for money was extremely low; I was definitely tricked by Ctrip! Also, I wasn't too happy that the hotel room only provided disposable paper cups – terrible for making tea! Everything else was just okay, nothing special. And you even had to pay to use the outdoor swimming pool...

AAnonymous UserArriving on a rainy day, staff immediately greeted us, opening the car door and helping with luggage. They even escorted us to our room after check-in. Even when we didn't tip upon departure, they still had a smile, which was really nice. The view from the window was the parking lot, but the hotel exterior looked quite grand and upscale. The room amenities were a bit basic and can't compare to similarly priced hotels back home, but for Jeju Island, it was acceptable. The bedding wasn't very comfortable, but I still fell asleep instantly due to how tired I was from the day's activities. The location is extremely convenient; Shilla Duty-Free, a pharmacy, and various restaurants are right downstairs. Getting a taxi to go anywhere was also very easy. Overall, it was a decent stay.

AAnonymous UserThe location is quite good. It's convenient to get around, and the pedestrian street is not far once you step out. The hotel facilities are decent. I didn't take any pictures of them. These photos are all of the surrounding area. The potato soup nearby was good, and the restaurant in the third picture was so good I ate there three times. You can store your luggage, but the service attitude is just okay. There's no Chinese-speaking staff at all. You can't check in early. It costs 10,000 won to check in an hour early. After paying 10,000 KRW and discussing it, I was able to check in 1 hour and 15 minutes early.

ZZhuanzhigangjingI booked this hotel based on a recommendation from Xiaohongshu. The location is great, very close to Shilla and Lotte Duty Free shops – just a short walk away. There are all sorts of restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel is eco-friendly and doesn't provide single-use toiletries. The large refillable shampoo and shower gel dispensers are fine, but the funniest thing is the large tube of shared toothpaste. People come and go, and everyone uses the same tube. I honestly think they could just skip providing it altogether, especially since each time you squeeze it, it touches someone else's toothbrush. Also, the toilet paper and tissue boxes in the room aren't replaced until they're completely empty. So, if the previous guest checked out and there's still some toilet paper left, it just stays there for the next guest to use until it runs out. In the bathroom, you shower in the bathtub, but there's no shower curtain and no bathmat. It's really annoying because the entire floor gets wet after a shower. Some of the standard rooms have a wet/dry separation with a glass door and no tub, while others are the kind where you shower in the tub. The room types definitely vary. The curtains don't block out much light. They provide two bottles of water daily, but if you have half a bottle left in your room, they'll only restock one bottle the next day, not two. Early check-in and late check-out seem to cost 10,000 Korean Won per hour.

AAnonymous UserThe first thing I’m really impressed with is the excellent service. They reply to messages very quickly, and they answer every question. If you have any issues, you can contact them anytime and they’re always helpful. The hotel is located right in the city center, with lots of convenience stores and restaurants nearby. Even though I traveled alone, I still felt safe the whole time. The room is spacious and comfortable. It’s also super convenient for shopping because everything is within walking distance thanks to the central location.

GGuest UserEverything was clean, from the front desk to the room. The back parking lot offers an ocean view, and the room offers a great view of the ocean as well. The proximity to the ocean makes for a great walk, and there's a 24-hour convenience store just a three-minute walk away.
