Hotels near Samsaseok in Jeju City

Spacious and clean room. Room service cleaning was also great. On arrival in the afternoon, without us requesting it, the front desk lady immediately offered us early check-in since the room was ready. All of them could communicate in good English. Toilet was clean and the necessary amenities were provided for. Bottles minerals were also provided each day. There was a cafe and a mini-mart in the hotel, but wish the cafe could open early instead of 8 am. Also the 2 staff at the cafe was not well prepared for the opening at 8 am. The pastries were all not ready on the shelves, they were still trying to sort them out. The coffee we ordered were still on hold, have to tell them to start preparing them cos we have to catch the tour bus. The mini-mart store lady was not so friendly. But will still stay at this hotel again cos it’s the pickup point for the local tours and hotel room and service is really good. Near to Dongmun market. 👍👍 Nice sea view in front of hotel.

Simple and clean hotel that's around 20 min away from the airport. Nice ocean view as it's close to the port Nice staff I needed to warm up my food and the staff was ok that I used the microwave to do that. Offered me disposable chopsticks when I asked if they had a fork - silly me forgotten to take it from the convenient store and too lazy to walk out into the cold There's a lot of local restaurants around but I didn't try . Didn't see the message to drop off the access card and rang the bell early morning only to find out after I pressed it. The kind sir that was on duty greeted nicely despite being awaken suddenly and even linger around the counter while I waited for my Uber which was an added customer service instead of going back to rest. I feel that it's value for my money.

The hotel is in a strategically convenient location near the Black Pork Street and Dongmun Traditional Market within walking distance. It also has a parking lot, pretty convenient for drivers. The receptionist is also friendly and forthcoming. The room is spacious and clean even though it is not new but well-renovated and well-maintained. If I come back to this area again in the future, I will stay here again.

Location is good. We arrived at 1pm and the hotel was kind enough to provide us with early check in, but it seems that we did not get our room with mountain view! The hotel does not switch on the aircon during this time and we had to open the balcony door to let the cold air in, else the room is stuffy, but it is noisy as it is facing the road. Room is clean and bed is comfortable too. Will come and stay again if I were to visit Jeju next time.

Amazing location, on near the sea and very close to the city centre. Lovely sea food restaurants 2 minutes walk from the hotel.

This is an established, star-rated hotel, conveniently located about a 10-minute taxi ride from the airport. The elevators offer glass panels with sea views, and the waterfall view in the ground floor cafe is also beautiful. The lobby has a CU convenience store, there's a GS25 by the entrance, and an Emart and a pharmacy directly across the street. The nearby neighborhood is quiet and charming, boasting a wide variety of food options like tofu soup restaurants and bakeries, as well as specialty stores like Olive Young and Patagonia, perfect for a leisurely stroll. The front desk service was excellent. They kindly stored my luggage before the 3 PM check-in time. Some staff members couldn't understand English, but they patiently found colleagues who could assist. The breakfast offered a great variety and was very good. Downsides: ① The room has limited power outlets. Once the lamp is plugged in, there aren't many other available sockets, so I recommend bringing a small power strip. ② The bathroom has a bathtub, which might be less convenient for elderly guests. ③ Since it wasn't air-conditioning season, the only ventilation in the room was by opening the window. However, there was a slight noise from planes taking off and landing at the distant airport. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to bring earplugs, though it was quiet in the middle of the night.

First off, the location is truly fantastic – really close to the airport, duty-free shops, and all the main attractions. There's even a bus stop right outside the hotel. The room was spacious and clean. We arrived late on New Year's Eve, around 11 PM, and check-in was still super fast. Everyone at the hotel was lovely, and the room had a great view; you could see the ocean right from the window. There's a supermarket next to the hotel, and the potato pork bone soup across the street was delicious too. Now for the only downside: it's quite close to the road, so there was a bit of noise at night. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. Jeju Island is beautiful!

The hotel was easily accessible on foot from various bus stops and located near many restaurants. It also seems to be adjacent to a nightclub district but the area was still quiet the time I travelled (late summer 2025). The room was clean and renovated in a modern way, and the window view was nice! Sometimes the checkout counter is unstaffed and ringing the bell doesn't bring anyone to the counter, but otherwise the staff are helpful and friendly. They allowed me to store luggage before check-in on the day of my arrival!

I stayed here for 2 nights as I'm climbing Hallasan the next day. It's a self checkin and the keys were prepared as I arrived. It feels homey, it's clean, tho a bit old of a building. It's very much like a motel we see in kdramas lol. The location i convenient, there's a lot of convenience store nearby, and a Starbucks and Mcdonalds a few blocks away. The owner is an older man and is very kind. I slept comfortably, thank you so much. My only thing here is that there is no elevator so I had to carry my heavy luggage up and down the stairs. It was tough especially my knees hurt so bad from the climb the day before checkout, but overall good stay.

Overall the experience is good, the location of the hotel is near to the Jeju City Hall Bus Stop, which can easily access to different buses route. However, there are a few things that may need to be considered. 1. The lift of the hotel is not secure enough, as everyone enter the lift can access the guest room floors, which I am quite concerned about the security. (Lobby not at the first floor, it is on the second floor) 2. There is no separation between the shower area and the toilet, when I shower, the water made the toilet all wet. A curtain to separate may helps. 3. The small table below the TV table is a bit dusty, may need to clean up. 4. There is no accessible electrical socket around the TV table for the hot water kettle, that is not convenient, I need to boil the water at bedside. Other electrical socket are near to the floor or the door side, that cannot used for boiling water. Although there is a few improvement suggestions, the front desk staff are so friendly and very competent in English. This hotel may need to check in sharp at 4pm (+/- 15 mins), but that fine for me. I have a great stay in this hotel, thank you very much. I will choose this hotel again if I come to Jeju again.
