The hotel's location is excellent, about a 6-minute walk from Exit 5 of Jongno 3-ga subway station. It's only one subway stop away from Myeongdong, Gwanghwamun, and Gyeongbokgung in the old city. The entire check-in and check-out process is self-service and quite straightforward. The room was clean and tidy, though the soundproofing was a bit poor, as I could hear luggage carts in the hallway. The room was small, but acceptable for the price point. There are two convenience stores nearby, a GS25 and a 7-Eleven, making it easy to pick up supplies.
When staying at EXTAY-chungmuro, you'll be perfectly positioned to explore Jung-gu. Some of the city's top sights can be found just a short distance away. This guest house is located 1.44 km from Heunginjimun Gate (Dongdaemun), 1.11 km from Myeong-dong, and 1.10 km from Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP).
This property also offers free luggage storage.

The accommodation looks exactly like the photos and is super clean! I really loved the view of Namsan Tower from the room, so romantic!
The kitchen is well-equipped for a simple breakfast with toast, jam, milk, and orange juice. There's even a water dispenser, so I didn't have to drink the water I'd bought beforehand. The hairdryer has a strong airflow, and the bathroom is spotless! I had mistakenly thought there would be a TV, but there wasn't, so I couldn't watch videos at the accommodation and ended up watching them on my phone with my friend.
Aside from that, the electric blanket was wonderfully warm, ensuring a cozy night's sleep. Free laundry and drying facilities are also available. There were a lot of international guests, which made it feel like I was abroad even though I was in Korea.
One thing to note: there are many stairs from the entrance, so my friend and I struggled quite a bit with our heavy luggage when checking in. I'd only recommend it for those with light luggage. Lastly, the Bluetooth speaker in the living room was on all night, and the sound was quite disruptive. It's not that there's no soundproofing, but because it was so quiet in the early morning, the sound seemed even louder. My friends also asked what the noise was, and after investigating, we realized it was the speaker, so we turned it off and finally got some sleep.
Located in Seoul's Jung-gu, ABC Hostel Seoul offers a great stay experience for those traveling for fun or business.
This property is home to a restaurant.
This property also offers free luggage storage and laundry service (on-site).

I was really worried about my first solo trip to Seoul as a woman, but I was relieved to find that the security was excellent! ㅠㅠ The floors are completely separated, with women on the 3rd floor and men on the 4th floor, and the toilets and shower rooms are also separate for men and women, which made it really comfortable. The area for storing large luggage and the sleeping area are separate, so the capsule was always kept clean and quiet, which was great. The staff were also very kind, and the view of Namsan Tower from the outdoor terrace was amazing! I will definitely be coming back.

The location is super convenient, really close to the subway! There are also lots of restaurants along the way. Plus, there's a convenience store right downstairs, which is a huge plus! Even though it's self check-in with no front desk, you can store your luggage downstairs, which is really handy. The only minor downside was that the duvet cover and pillowcase had a few small stains, but considering the price and location, it was still absolutely perfect.

Extremely satisfied with my stay! The hotel is located about a 5-minute walk from Exit 2 of Seodaemun Subway Station, nestled in an alley near an intersection. It's only three stops to Gongdeok Station, making it super convenient for transferring to other lines. Right outside the subway, there's a Lotteria fast food, a GS25 convenience store, Gong Cha, Paris Baguette, Mega Coffee, and several restaurants – truly a prime location. Self check-in and check-out were a breeze; you just type in the booker's name on the machine. The environment is pleasant, and the room was very clean, though it might be a bit tight to open two large suitcases simultaneously. A great tip: if you wash clothes, hang them in the shower room with the heater on, and they'll be dry by the next day, no need to use the dryer on the first floor. Both the bed and pillows were very comfortable, and they provided a well-stocked set of disposable toiletries. No need to separate trash; just leave it outside your door before 11 AM daily. They even collected our trash on the third day. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Seoul!
It was a pleasant and quiet accommodation in the complex Jongno street
I think it's cleaner because it's just built.
There was an ice purifier in the kitchen, so I could drink cool water when it was hot.
I almost lacked towels, but it was nice to have a free amenities space.

We stayed at Shilla Stay Gwanghwamun for 3 days and 2 nights, and later booked another 2 days and 1 night after our staycation at Nami Island.
• Front desk service: The staff spoke English well and were very accommodating. They kindly allowed us to store our luggage during our Nami Island trip since we had another booking at the same hotel.
• Room quality: The room was clean and spacious. However, I personally didn’t like the wooden floor—it felt a bit uncomfortable to walk on without room slippers.
• Location: The hotel is centrally located in the city, within walking distance to Bukchon Hanok Village and Gyeongbokgung Palace, and close to several subway stations.
• Food options nearby: Plenty of choices, from traditional Korean BBQ to fast food like Burger King. Just note that many restaurants close around 9–10 PM.
✨ Overall: A convenient city hotel with friendly staff, good service, and easy access to major attractions. The luggage storage service was especially helpful for our trip planning.

The hotel location is quite good. From air port easy take the limousine airport bus 6005 to Seoul city hall. Tell the driver your hotel name and e will stop just infront of the junction of hotel. From hotel back to airport also easy. Location picture as attached. The down side of this hotel if you are Asian and afraid of warm and hot. This hotel spring and autumn does not have air conditioning. Beside on air conditioner, everything I rate 5 star for it.

We enjoyed our stay. The room is quite standard size,
Not too small but there isn’t a big space for you to open up 2 luggages at once. Considering this js Seoul the room size is acceptable. The hotel is located at a quiet neighborhood. Easily accessible using public transport, 30 mins walk to Anguk area or you can directly use the bus (4 stops). There are many local restaurants around to explore as well but you’ll have to use the naver app to look around. Overall if you prefer something quiet and you love walking to explore the area this is nice.
Ps, surrounding nothing to shop unless you head to anguk area.

GGuest UserThe facility is still being renovated, and it is a bit inconvenient to travel by car due to the width and slope of the surrounding roads, but the interior of the accommodation is comfortable and clean thanks to the owner's diligence in managing it, so it was worth the trouble I had searching for^^
RRyosukeIt was a series of surprises during my stay. When I arrived at the inn, the entrance was locked. I couldn't get inside because my PIN was not contacted. I contacted Trip.com support and asked them to give me my PIN for about 30 minutes. When I went inside, there was a paper with my PIN on the unmanned counter. Accommodation requires clairvoyance.
When I entered the room, there was no curtain on the window this time. Thanks to that, neon lights came in when I went to bed, and in the morning the room became bright from early morning and I could wake up without an alarm clock.
