DoubleTree by Hilton Vientiane 🇱🇦 | A Stay I’d Happily Come Back To I recently stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton Vientiane, one of the newer Hilton properties in Laos, and overall, I had a really great experience. 📍 Location The hotel is conveniently located and getting there from the Morning Market area was easy — I simply took a tuk-tuk. It’s also not far from the Mekong River, and some rooms even offer views towards the river. In case you book direct by Hilton website. 🏨 Check-in & Diamond Experience As a Hilton Honors Diamond member, I was able to check in at the Executive Lounge, which made the arrival experience even more comfortable. I originally booked an entry-level room and was very happy to receive an upgrade to a suite during this stay. The suite was spacious, comfortable, and very well appointed. It was definitely a nice surprise and made the stay even more enjoyable. 💛 Service What impressed me most was the service. The staff across the hotel were attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. A special thank you to Ling at the Front Desk, who took great care of me, and Chit at the breakfast restaurant, whose attentive service made the morning even better. Both of them really stood out during my stay. 🍳 Breakfast Breakfast was another highlight. The selection was extensive, with plenty of choices, but I especially enjoyed the local Lao dishes. There were Lao-style sausages and fried fish served with jeow dipping sauce and fresh vegetables — simple, local, and absolutely delicious. I always appreciate hotels that include local flavors at breakfast rather than offering only standard international dishes. 🛏️ Overall The room was excellent, the location was convenient, breakfast was impressive, and most importantly, the service throughout the hotel was consistently warm and attentive. It was one of those stays where everything simply came together nicely. Would I stay here again? Absolutely. It's beautiful and lovely right from the entrance. You absolutely must enjoy the panoramic view of the night market from the lounge. I didn't get to check out the pool, so I can't say, lol. And I also missed breakfast, haha.

I stayed in room 504, and the air conditioning was noisy all night. Everything else was pretty good, though. The night market is just a block away from the hotel and is very lively, with local young people eating late-night snacks and drinking. It's less than a 20-minute walk to the Central Bus Station, which is quite convenient. Next door to the hotel is a restaurant called 'Piaopiao Fan' that accepts UnionPay cards with no extra fees. The hotel also has a laundry room with two washing machines and one dryer. You'll need to buy detergent from the front desk for 10,000 kip, and one packet is enough for at least three washes (I didn't buy it myself).

Professional, kind, helpful and enthusiastic reception. My days were beautiful staying in a very good location and easy to walk around visiting temples. I am not expected the break fast complimentary but I get my simple breakfast boiled rice and sandwiches with coffee. The room is clean, toliet is clean. Thank you for a memorable time in Vientiane. Mixay paradise hotel will not make you disappointed... They deserved good score and highly recommendation.

The accommodation is located in the tourist area. The location is super convenient, and the staff are incredibly kind. The building is quite new, and I love that the room, toilet, shower, and sink are all separated. It would be perfect if it weren't for the slight herbal medicine smell and the meager breakfast.

A solid little stay: nothing flashy, but it delivers where it counts. The room is clean, bright, and quiet, with TV, AC, a hairdryer, a fridge, water and toiletries included. Staff are friendly and easy to deal with. Breakfast is simple: eggs, toast and coffee/tea. Not a buffet spread, but a nice enough start to the day. The bus station is around a 12-minute walk. A few things to note: there's no elevator and the stairs are quite steep, checkout is at 11:00, and the pillows are a bit flat. Not major issues, but good to know. Overall, good value for the price. Would recommend for travellers who just need a clean, quiet room without any fuss

A cheap stay, good for our one night only. Room had no natural light and the lights flickered. Bathrooms were fine and mostly tidy, shared with everyone else. No shampoo or body wash in shower and no towel provided. Breakfast was fine, bread and some potatoes with egg. Super central to the night market and close enough to the Mekong. Good stay for the one night only.

Great service, very clean, nice room! It was a great hotel to stay at for an early flight. It's tucked away off the main road, but the security guards in the area are more than happy to help you find it.

My stay at Vientiane Tiangai Hotel truly exceeded expectations; the experience was fantastic! The hotel has its own swimming pool, the water is clean, and after a good swim, relaxing on the nearby lounge chairs was incredibly comfortable. The view from the room window was absolutely stunning – expansive cityscapes during the day and beautiful night views in the evening, making every photo look great. The location couldn't be better; transportation is super convenient. Taxis and public transport make getting anywhere very easy, no hassle at all for sightseeing. The biggest surprise was how close it is to the night market; just a few minutes' walk. It was super convenient to grab some snacks after dinner. The room was spotlessly clean, the bed was soft and comfortable, and the environment was quiet and peaceful. The front desk staff were very friendly and check-in was quick. Being able to enjoy the pool and views, while also having such convenient access to shopping and attractions, makes it perfect for both tourists and short stays. It offers great value for money, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area. Highly recommend!

This hotel is decent. It's a bit far from the night market, but only a 10-15 minute walk to Independence Gate. The service, however, was quite poor. Trip.com guaranteed a late checkout, and I even confirmed it with the front desk beforehand. Yet, when I went to check out, they still insisted on charging me an additional $30. Very disappointing.
