This hostel is large with many room types, and breakfast is included. Breakfast consists of porridge and small fried dough sticks. The porridge is simple but tastes good and is neatly prepared.
We booked it on Agoda a day in advance for less than 280 RMB for a double bed. The bedding didn't smell, but there was a stain in one spot. Another drawback was the large number of ants! Any food we had was ruined. That was the only downside.
Otherwise, there were no major drawbacks. It's near the train station, and you can walk to the night market. We went during Chinese New Year, and there weren't many stalls near the train station. We went to another night market, about 1km past some bars and restaurants, and across a bridge, but there wasn't anything particularly delicious. After visiting 12 cities in Thailand, we felt that the food in Chumphon and Ranong was relatively limited; we didn't find any particularly good snacks.

Despite the elegant name, this hotel feels outdated and fairly basic. It’s adequate for a short stay of one or two nights, but not much more. One of the main frustrations was the misleading listing on Trip.com. I paid extra for a king-sized bed and a mountain view, only to discover the hotel only offers queen-sized beds and our “view” was of a car park.
For the second night, we paid significantly less and moved to a room on the fifth floor, which did offer a better view. Interestingly, the room itself was identical to the first—same size and layout—just without the car park outside the window.
Rooms are small but clean, with a painted mural on the wall that adds a bit of character. However, the towels were very worn and rough, more suitable as bathmats than for drying off. There’s no kettle in the room, but you can find hot water and complimentary tea and coffee on the ground floor, which is a nice touch. The Wi-Fi works well, although the router on the fifth floor needs to be reset daily for it to function properly.
In summary, this hotel delivers on some basic comforts, but it falls short in terms of accuracy and amenities. It’s best suited for very short stays if your expectations are modest.

Booked double room with fan which was in 5rh floor. Clean towel and the room was ok compared to the price but the bathroom. I think the bathroom was renovated before so it has wrong design. The shower area is so narrow with next to washtafel.
It has 24 hours front office, good location as i arrived almost midnight using train. They have storage room behind the front desk.

We were looking online for tripple room, and found ia decsent one only at Kalamint, Most friendly staff, clean big room, quiet area. A bit far from the station, but the receptionist solve the matter with our taxi for 5 am, and it was not easy and took time. Recommend for 1 night, or for a few.

Spacious big room with laminated wood floor. The only thing it doesn't have is a safety box. There is a electric kettle to boil water. You can even take a bath. Not many hotels in this grade has a bathtub. Room is very big but the 30 inch TV looks tiny sitting in the big room.
The breakfast is simple buffet style and is good. There is toast with jam, Instant coffee and tea, Eggs sunny side up and sausages. Salads, Thai food stir fry and steam rice and fruits and croissants.
This is a great place for an overnight stay enroute to Bangkok or HatYai. I will come back.

The hotel is located in a relatively remote and quiet place, suitable for self-driving people. GGuest UserBeen in this hotel for the second time and definitely would recommend staying in it while skipping the night between flight and ferry. Location right in the city center near night market street, however away from the hustle and bustle of this street. Neat hotel with friendly staff. You can easily organize the transfer to the airport with their help. Morning kitchen zone supplied with coffee machine and microwave was very useful for us. No problems with water, hot water or noises from the street or neighbouring rooms. Definitely a good place to stay!

RRick DownerA little village of cute, brightly-painted and spotlessly clean bungalows at an amazing price, just a couple hundred yards from Sairee Beach and a short drive to all the other (and better) beaches of the Chumphon area. Note that it's a Thai-style resort, with a Thai-style bed (beyond firm), and there's no pool here, but a great stopover at an unbeatable price, with a Thai breakfast in the morning.

NNatamonI had a good stay at this hotel. The location is perfect for my trip purpose; visiting family and friends, with easy access to nearby restaurants. There's plenty of parking space, so I never had to worry about finding a spot. The room was comfortable. The fast Wi-Fi was a big plus, allowing me to stay connected without any interruptions. Overall, it was a good experience, and I will be visiting again.

NNithithip ThongdeeyingWe think the place was grand and the room was spacious. For the price paid, it was totally worth it. It was easy to commute to other places. Train station and the night market is only 5-6 mins away by car and you can also book a Grab / Bolt Taxi to go anywhere from the hotel.
Staff were all sweet and helpful. The lady at the breakfast was very kind and hardworking.
If we visit Chumphon town again, we will definitely stay here!

Good location. It's quite old. Cleaning is not well done. The water field is the worst. Refrigerator and air conditioner work. The corridor is unusually wide and creepy. No elevator. There is no staff friendliness.

The second time I stayed in rooms 106 and 107, which were not as good as rooms 102 and 103, I was a little disappointed! I wish the bathroom could be remodeled better! But the boss's attitude is very good!

GGuest UserA lot was broken in the bathroom, the service was very kind, but the location was annoying. We couldn’t get anywhere, we had to contact the hotel and they got us an overpriced taxi. The beach looked nice, we had to walk for multiple hours to get anywhere though. Transportations were always overpriced
