Come to stay at this hotel very often. The room is as clean as before. Blankets, sheets, pillows, fragrant smell, not bad. There are plenty of parking spaces. Opposite the hotel is the Seungtan department store. Easy to walk across to find something to eat. But I want to have a hair dryer in the room as well

Panthong Hotel is located at 1 Phetkasem Soi 2, Sanam Chan Subdistrict, Mueang Nakhon Pathom District. I stayed there on Saturday, January 10th, 2026 for 470 baht (booked via Trip.com, including breakfast with two dishes, bread, margarine, condensed milk, and coffee). Upon arrival at the hotel, I participated in the online Dhamma Yatra ceremony with 1142 monks (commemorating the 142nd birthday of Phra Mongkol Thepmuni) at the Khlong Bang Nang Taen Memorial, Hom Kret Subdistrict, Sam Phran District, which is near Wat Song Khanong, Song Khanong Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Mahidol University Salaya Campus. It's 7.5 km from Wat Rai Khing and 28 km from Panthong Hotel. The most convenient way to get there from my home in Ladprao is by MRT, getting off at Bangkok Central Station (Apiwat Station). From there, various buses from Mochit 2 Bus Depot pick up passengers. Then, it's a short walk to the long-distance train station. Take the southbound train to Nakhon Pathom station (20 baht/hour). (It passes by several train stations you might want to visit, including Bang Bamru, located in an alley leading to Sirindhorn Road, Bang Phlat district, bordering Wat Chalo subdistrict, Bang Kruai district, Nonthaburi province. It's also near the light red line BTS Skytrain and Salaya train station. For the return trip, the last train after check-out at noon from the hotel is at 5 PM, costing over 200 baht. A minivan is better (45-60 baht), which drops you off at many places in Bangkok.) You can also use the Bolt app to call a motorcycle taxi (20+ baht/3km) to get to the front of Panthong Hotel, near Phra Pathom Chedi (2 km). From the hotel, walk towards Ratchadamnoen Road; on the left is a Sai Nom shop in Ton Son alley. Alternatively, enter through a community alley for Pa Ja's Hainanese Chicken Rice (0.6km). Between Phetkasem Soi 12 and Soi 10 is The Little Cup Cafe and Workshop; Central Nakhon Pathom (0.5km), etc. The hotel looks clean and comfortable. The room is very clean, with no dust or stains. Light bulbs, outlets, and switches are readily available, making it convenient. The bed is comfortable, not too soft or too hard. The pillows and blankets have a faint, pleasant scent. The air conditioning is cool and quiet, the bathroom is well-ventilated, not stuffy, and doesn't have any sewer smells, the balcony has a nice, open view, a large, long table with a work chair and a seating chair, a dressing table with a mirror, and a large, easy-to-use, clean trash can. The TV has a clear picture and is easy to use. The refrigerator is clean, and the drinking water is Singha in a glass bottle, which we appreciate (we don't like plastic). The breakfast is filling and delicious. P.S. The chili sauce, fish sauce, shallots, and lime are perfect with hot rice. The Wi-Fi is of good quality, and there are no other branches. There is a large parking lot in front of the hotel. Other interesting accommodations include Baan Champa Residence, 602 Thang Rot Fai Tawan Tok Soi 14, Phra Pathom Chedi Subdistrict, Sanam Chan Royal Palace Railway Station (0.3km) 593 THB/night.

The location of the hotel is okay, just on the road, there are enough parking spaces. There are many buildings in the school. We live in Building 2, which is the central building below the receptionist girl. Good service staff but this place looks a bit old, the elevator is old and slow, and outdated. Must press soak to open the room is considered very wide. The room was clean, but the big lady was spotless, the water was thick, and there was a small dining table. The bed was soft but there was an amazing insect nest, falling on the glass, the air was cool, late at night, I heard the car running loudly. Another child was also waiting for the test car at the school gate. He couldn't sleep at all, and the sound entered the room. If someone wants to eat, it is best to buy it. Because there are no shops nearby, and there are no 7-11 shops, in general, I want to give 3 points because the bedroom is very noisy. The bathroom is not very clean and looks very old. There is no toothpaste and shampoo, the elevator is stuck and a bit old.

A family of three lives here, with a big bed, a single bed, a bedroom, a bathroom, and a terrace. Nakhon Pathom is a small town, a junction of urban and rural areas. This hotel is a collection of independent houses, with a large green garden landscape. You can run in the hotel during the day (running is not something I have ever done for Orientals). We have limited RMB, and the exchange rate advantage with foreigners is very different. Others spend 1 yuan as 10 yuan, while we spend 1 yuan as 1 yuan. We have limited time to eat quickly, go shopping, sleep in the car, and take pictures when we get off the car... How can we have time to run? The hotel has breakfast, which is a drink with a staple food. You can choose porridge and rice. I have tried both, and there is no minefield. The chicken is delicious. I am from Guangdong and have high requirements for chicken. I can actually eat chicken with firm meat in Thailand. Later, I saw that there are many chickens raised behind the restaurant. I wonder if we are eating this kind of chicken raised by ourselves? Anyway, the chicken tastes good. Parking is super convenient, there is no service, and the towels and water for replenishment are placed outside the door of the room and you can take them in when you come back. The terrace of the room is open and the view... feels like being in a park in Myanmar... In summary, at this price, you don't get much enjoyment, but the hygiene is good. We had dinner at the resort for two days, which is economical.

In a hotel not far from the main road, but in a small road, it is still very quiet at night, not very far from other consumer areas in Nakhon Pathom. It takes about five minutes to drive to the restaurant gathering place It’s free to go to the king’s villa in the morning, and it’s free to go to the big stupa next to it. In the morning, there are monks chanting, and it feels very good. The hotel itself has a sense of design, very beautiful, breakfast is average, the surrounding environment is a bit messy, but the hotel is very nice Especially when it comes to breakfast, breakfast is a set meal, not a buffet, so the appetite adults may not be full. You can see the picture of the Buddha behind me. There is a set menu over there.

The accommodation has a swimming pool suitable for bathing with children; you can take a dip in ”Thailand's oldest city” Nakhon Pathom! Explore Thailand’s largest pagoda, stroll through Thailand’s century-old sea coconut floating market, and feast on the popular delicacy “volcano shrimp”, served with shrimp oil mixed with rice cooked over charcoal fire! Feel the Buddhist tradition full of Thai cultural heritage.
