Mornings in the mountains were magical: sunshine, sudden downpours, misty clouds, the calls of monkeys, the singing of birds... Suddenly, I found myself thinking that trekking up and down the slopes two or three times a day wasn't so bad after all! [grinning emoji] As my departure approaches, I'd like to share my review of this hotel. Overall, our stay was incredibly comfortable. The room was spacious, and the balcony was enormous – even bigger than the room itself! (If you're not worried about the local monkeys making off with your belongings, you can really spread out there! [laughing-crying emoji]) The air conditioning was excellent, the water pressure was strong, and surprisingly, the water wasn't salty at all. The staff were exceptionally warm and friendly. Once you head down the hill, within a five-minute walk, you'll find everything you need: the beach, a 7-Eleven, a laundry shop, travel agencies, and the famous Lanta Pizza. The hotel also has its own scooter rentals available, and you can usually bargain the price down to match what you'd find at shops outside. If you inquire when booking, there are a few room types located lower down the hill. However, the two-bedroom villas and rooms near the infinity pool are all situated on the ridge. For young couples who appreciate peace and quiet, I highly recommend these options. But for multi-generational families with elderly members and young children, like ours, I'd advise choosing carefully. A special thank you to NI at the front desk for her absolutely outstanding service! And also to the lovely young lady (whose name I didn't catch, but she was so sweet and wonderful) who served us at the hilltop poolside restaurant. Thank you all for giving us a perfect holiday!

The reviews giving this place give stars as their favorite place are a bit overzealous. The views are definitely spectacular but the deficits aren't lacking. The pros do not justify this hotel; simply that ko lanta is a great destination. Keep in mind: there is no lotion nor conditioner here: curly hair, especially type 4, will suffer. The is no washcloth, phone in the rooms, nor hot tub. Wifi is guarded more than the nuclear football, rooms are certainly worn, there are no USB outlets. For couples: there are definitely young kids here who will never remember the trip, so you may hear crying during breakfast or when trying to get a massage. The maids are neglectful at replacing room amenities, the safe is broken and this place is not vegan friendly. They served me egg in the first dish ordered after recommending I simply let their restaurant know. I did not get the impression that they really understand how to handle dietary needs. The restaurant is awfully overpriced and the food is okay if you even trust the restaurant. Breakfast I stuck to fruit only... I had to go into town for food; Drunken Sailor tasted amazing. Staff friendliness could use improvement. They could at least try to hide their disdain for tourists better. This is expressed with body language and also verbally as we were told false information more than once, when greetings don't even preface with a hello and when staff prioritize chatting with each other rather than assisting a guest. When I asked for Sfiff's name, since nobody wears name badges nor introduces themselves.. to properly greet her. She acted like I was asking for her first born son! They conveniently don't mention that due to Ramadan, there's closed shops and you have to rent a bike to reach the nearest one. That would have saved an hour of time. If you opt in to the hotel taxi service, it will take 3 hours to reach the hotel at 3,000 baht one way. No food or water after a long flight and travel were provided, so please get it from the airport. Google ”Mun Lanta” taxi for 2200 baht taxi via Whatsapp, where they also provide food and water. Furthermore, the system to rent a motorbike is convoluted as you will incur late fees if not returned in time. Why not simply charge for the actual time instead of playing games with late fees and guesstimating return time? This hotel is far overpriced. Get something for half the price, rent a motorbike in town to access better restaurants and the same street. That's my STRONG recommendation.

Современный новый отель,состоит из основного здания,где расположены 4 номера и ресепшен,и 6 домиков,в некоторых есть кухня. Мы жили в номере.Хочется отметить что всё,начиная с дизайна ,очень красивое и уютное .Кровать в номере удобная,телевизор современный.При заезде в номере есть комплимент,соки,печенье и чипсы.Хозяева приветливые и доброжелательные.Есть аренда мотобайка и услуги такси.Сам отель находится в 2км от моря,в живописном месте около горной речки.Обязательно еще приедем!

A magnificent, cozy hotel on the beachfront, pleasantly surprising with its cleanliness. The love the owners poured into its construction is evident in every detail. If you want to feel like you're in a luxury hotel, immersed in nature, I highly recommend staying here. The hotel owners are also very responsive and pleasant, and they can recommend the best spots on the island and brew you delicious coffee in the morning. The hotel has a cliff-side bar with stunning views of the sea and sunset. A sandy beach and numerous shops and restaurants are a 5-minute walk away. One of the best hostel i have been to, good location , team is helpful, very clean and the beds are super comfy. I loved how private are the beds , the lockers are big. And it s very beautiful , with a calm dog and cat coming , it’s very calm at night ! The bathroom is perfect , maybe one more thing for cloth in the shower , but it’s a detail :) There is a cosy outdoor area to rest or work. I completely recommend !! And would love to pass by again !

The property is new and meticulously maintained. The rooms are spacious and very modern, with all the necessary amenities. The bathroom and shower are very spacious. The owners are young and passionate about their business. They are available at any time for clarifications, suggestions, and to resolve any issues. We had a problem with the ferry agency, and they immediately helped us by calling a taxi to take us to the port. In the room, there are paid products that are very useful on the island, such as sunscreen, mosquito repellent, and a refrigerator stocked with cold drinks. The breakfast is excellent and very generous. On the island, using a scooter is essential, and the hotel will provide you with a fully functional one at a good price.

Amazing place. Clean and recently built Bungalows. Hot shower. AC works well and is not noisy. Beautiful well maintained garden with a little river passing throigh. Friendly, helpful and smiley staff and owner. You're surrounded by forest and can hear and see the birds. Five minutes by scooter to Klong Nin Beach which has everything you may need, shops, cafés, restaurants... All that at a very good price. We'd go back for sure and we definitely recommend it to everyone. Thank you 🙏

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The location is fantastic, with the beach right in front, and the amenities especially the pool, breakfast area, and bars were excellent but what really stood out though, was the hospitality. Lisa and the entire team were exceptional: warm, attentive, welcomingand genuinely kind throughout our stay.

I really like the style of the hotel and it blends perfectly with the surrounding environment, similar to some domestic homestays. The facilities are a little bit old, but they have everything they should. The rooms are large and the balcony with sea view is very awkward. There are not many varieties of breakfast, but it is completely delicious. The semi-open restaurant and garden perfectly blend with the sea view, bringing a good dining mood, which is enough to offset the shortcomings of fewer varieties. The flame dance at the bar on the side is also a highlight, making the night more exciting. The only thing that is not tolerable is the problem of bath water. The water flow is often very small. When I came back from the beach and stood under the shower head. When the dripping water could not clean the sand on my body, my heart collapsed. I stood and waited for a few minutes. It took ten minutes for the water flow to return to normal levels to finish the bath. The sea and beaches of Kantian Bay are not as good as expected. I think the comments in the comments are a bit too much. After all, Thailand has many more beautiful beaches than here. In general, it is a wonderful experience for people like me who love to lie on the balcony or garden and enjoy leisure time.

We stayed at rawi warin for 4 nights in one of the hillside rooms. The room was spacious with a small balcony. The bed in particular felt huge as it was 2 beds pushed together. As other reviews mention, the hillside rooms are about a 10 mins walk away from the main pool. Walking is quite pleasant though as you are surrounded by greenery. And there's a closer hillside pool that has a great view. The facilities were great esp. the main pool which was huge, chlorine free, and very empty past 6pm - we were often the only ones using it in the evening. Also enjoyed the table tennis and pool tables. My only piece of feedback is that the resort could be better lit at night - it was too dark walking down paths/stairs. Loved seeing lizards and monkeys around the resort. Didn't try the hotel food much - there are some good restaurants a short walk away. The stretch of beach attached to the resort was beautiful and good for swimming.
