Hotels near Krua Ban Kru in Hua Hin

The hotel is relatively new, with a predominantly yellow decor, giving it a stylish feel. The room was quite clean, but it was a bit far from the restaurant. Breakfast was good, and the coffee was delicious, but it only ran until 10:30 AM, which was a bit of a shame. The pool was quite small and lacked entertainment facilities, just a tiny basic pool. The beach wasn't particularly clean, and there were many horses, making it quite smelly. You also need to be careful of jellyfish in the shallow waters. Overall, I was quite satisfied.

We stayed two nights in this place and I have no negative feedbacks with place. For the price we paid, I am very satisfied with the room it's very clean and most of all no bad smell. There's no full breakfast available but you can get free coffee and snack on the rooftop. But there's a big refrigerator, microwave and kitchenette in the room so we always buy food and drink and stock in the refrigerator. We will definitely stay again in this place.

Overall a very good experience, love the staff, very near the beach. Appreciate the privacy.. just a little caveat, there's a little stink in the toilet, I suspect could be the drainage issue. Otherwise, everything else is perfect.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. While the location is a bit out of the way, it's perfect for those who enjoy peace and quiet. You can ask the front desk for help renting a scooter. The hotel breakfast is plentiful, the staff are very enthusiastic, and the hygiene conditions are excellent.

Location: Conveniently located right outside the hotel are CICADA and Tamarind Market, along with many massage shops. It's only about a 10-minute drive to the train station or Khao Takiab, so it's truly very convenient. Cleanliness: Both the room and other hotel facilities were very clean, making for a worry-free stay. Previous reviews mentioned many small critters, but given the hotel's lush greenery and the Thai environment, this is completely normal. Service: All staff members were very friendly, greeting guests whenever they came and went. Even the housekeeping and security staff were very polite. Facilities: Breakfast, pool, spa, and restaurants are all very complete. You don't have to worry about anything even if you stay at the hotel for several days. Other: - THAI TEA SET: Can be enjoyed in the room. The food was decent and worth trying. - Pool: Big enough for swimming, but the only other recreational facilities were one slide and a jacuzzi (I might not have explored everything). - Beach: Direct access to the beach for a leisurely stroll by the sea. However, there were people asking if I wanted to ride a horse. I wasn't sure if they were from the hotel or outside, and I was worried about potential scams, so I only went once and left. - Breakfast: Absolutely impeccable! This was the first time I've stayed at a hotel for 4 nights and had breakfast there every single day. There was a wide variety, with slight adjustments daily (and most importantly, unlimited Thai tea!). Minor Flaw: Approximately 1.5 months ago, I requested through the platform and the hotel for a room facing the pool with no grass on the patio, as I have a sensitivity to grass which causes discomfort. Upon observation, there were probably no less than 10 rooms of the same type, with only 2 having grass, yet I was still assigned a room with grass. However, I understand that not all room requests can be met, so it's just a minor flaw.

The pool was really clean, and I especially loved how they divided it into two sections: a family pool with slides where kids could have a blast. The slides were exciting, even for adults, despite being only 200-300 meters long. There was always a shuttle available to take you to the beach and other pool area on the other side, which was also beautiful. I left two chargers behind, and they were incredibly responsive, helping me find them right away, even in the middle of the night. The value for money is outstanding, perfect if you don't mind it being a few kilometers further out. The beach was incredibly quiet. There are some great little restaurants nearby, and a 7-Eleven too. Across the street, there's a small shop with a turtle logo that offers delicious food at reasonable prices.

UR Huahin Residence was a different kind of place. It's an inconvenient 45 minute walk from Hua Hin's centre/Beach but the complex is self sufficient. All you need is there, so long as you have transport. It's true what others say - most of the offerings on the menu of their restaurant (Yellow Bus), are pricey, and the inclusive buffet breakfast is meagre. No other restaurants nearby and a 600 m walk to a 7-11. That said, the pool is first class and we'll kept. A laundry service on site, is great. I thought I was getting a mountain-view room but ended up on a low floor facing the parking lot - bearable for just four days. High floor suites are apparently reserved for long term snowbirds who rent by the month. Service replacing amenities was daily and generous. Suite was generally clean except for a few small dead insects found upon arrival, that may have crawled in from the pigeon nest on my balcony next to the a/c exhaust. In a pinch, I'd stay here again because the price is fair.🙂

Excellent location! Easy walk to the night market. Room is spacious and clean, great value for money. Overall score: 4.4 / 5 stars If your goal for visiting Hua Hin is ”a centrally located place to stay, convenient for getting around, easy to find food, and not too expensive,” then The Royal Pavilion Hua Hin is definitely a great choice! It doesn't focus on beachfront access but prioritizes convenience in the city. Let me give you a real review. Highlights that impressed me: Great location, easy walk to the night market: The location is the main selling point. It's on the main road, close to Hua Hin Night Market and Chat Chai Market. You can easily walk to find food in the evening without the hassle of looking for parking. Spacious and clean rooms: The rooms are quite spacious compared to other hotels in the same price range in this area. The bed is large and comfortable, the air conditioning is nice and cool, and the cleanliness is excellent. No musty smells. Rooftop pool and views: There's a small swimming pool on the rooftop for relaxation. In the evening, you can go up, enjoy the breeze, and take in the good atmosphere with views of Hua Hin city and the mountains. Convenient parking: For a city-center hotel, the parking here is excellent. There's sufficient parking under the building and around it, with security guards on duty at all times. Good service from staff: The counter staff and receptionists are always smiling, polite, welcoming, and quick to answer questions.

Good value for the price. Clean rooms, pleasant service, and a family-friendly environment. I enjoyed my stay and would consider coming back.

Accessible location - as it is near the railway station, the beach and the Hua Hin night market. You get what you pay for, as the hotel building is quite old & some areas of the hotel wasn't kept clean but it is pretty much safe and okay for budget travellers & short-stays (we booked this for 1 night only).
