"1. The location is interesting, not far from the Myndos Gate, but quite far from the coast and the main tourist trails.                 2. The rooms: very dark, no overhead light at all, only dim lighting on the walls. The wallpaper is already peeling off in some places. The bathroom is very small, the cabin is simple, the heated towel rail is icy, the floor is self-leveling - not tiles. There is no closet, there is a niche in the hallway with hangers. The bed is normal. Small balcony. They clean well and change towels and bed linen every day.                                                     3. Breakfasts. Overall not bad, but disgusting coffee. The same set of dishes on the buffet every day. Very poor selection of cold meats, no fish at all.                             4. SPA: not bad hamam. The sauna is very dark. The gym is very small and cramped."

"When I first arrived, I was a bit hesitant about the location, thinking it might be a bit awkward, but after staying there, I realized it's actually quite a good spot. It's about a 30-minute walk to the city center, but you can catch a dolmuş (minibus) right outside Hotel Bora. As someone who loves walking, I just strolled around at my own pace, and it was great fun exploring every corner of Bodrum. The place is really clean, and most importantly, the staff here are incredibly friendly! I'd give them 1000 out of 1000 for their kindness!!! They even carried my heavy luggage all the way to my room, which was super convenient. The breakfast is simple but perfectly fine for a light meal. The owner, Mr. Haji, is truly... incredibly kind! He always does his best to answer any questions I have, and he even used a translator to communicate in Korean, which touched me deeply. Receiving such a warm welcome in a foreign place made me feel wonderful. There's also a supermarket and McDonald's nearby, which is handy. Maybe because I went during the off-season, there wasn't much to see in the main downtown area, and I couldn't go swimming, which was a bit of a shame... but overall, I slept well and had a pleasant stay here!"

Location is a comfortable walk to the marina. Perfect distance for comfort and convenience. Had the best stay! Highly recommend."

"We booked a roomeith a balcony and sea view. However, on arrival the hotel tried to extort an additional 30 euros a day for sea view and balcony. They tried to push us into a room up several staircases, with a very small window, no balcony and no sea view in the old part of the hotel or pay the extra. We refused and insisted we had, in writing via email, a sea view and balcony. Finally they agreed we could stay in the better room and we weren't charged. Room was great, view excellent with lift in new part of the hotel with lively sunbathing decks. Lunch was excellent. Cocktails were great and all included."

"I got fooled by the very high rating this place got The staff were very nice But the hotel itself was not so great The TV is completely useless, because the very few channels are all fuzzy We were there for four days and on day one I noticed a dead Roach that stayed there till we left The huge key you'll have to leave at the front desk, because it's too big to carry It reminded me of my childhood when my parents had to do that But the staff and breakfast were both very nice"

"We had a lovely stay at Değirmenburnu Residence in Bodrum. The staff were incredibly friendly and even gave me a free upgrade, which was a wonderful surprise. The room had a fantastic view of the sea, and there’s good parking available—very convenient. It’s also just a short walk to the centre of Bodrum’s old town. While the furniture could use a refresh and felt a bit worn, the place offers great value overall. Would definitely recommend for a comfortable and scenic stay!"

"It was a perfect stay for 1 week: 1. Very tasty breakfast 2. Gorgeous view from terrace 3. Nice pool to spend time in 4. Very helpful owner, which helped us with everything: laundry, cheaper taxi, transfer... 5. Very comfortable room (superior room) - a lot of space Only minuses will be: 1. A lot of stairs up and down each time you want to leave hotel 2. Strange cleaning service: first time it was proposed without preparing in the afternoon when we were sleeping. Next time they also asked about cleaning after we came to the room after the sea and wanted to rest. Last day they suddenly lost their keys to the room.... So the drain in the shower wasn't cleaned and was clogged, not so pleasant. In all other aspects everything was good! Would recommend and come again!"

"The accommodation is in just the third summer season, so remains in as-new condition. The location is in a quiet lane off the main Marina parade, so is easy to access. With plenty of restaurants and activity nearby, the location is great. The pool is sparkling clean ( a little too cold for swimming in late April) and the rooms are nicely simple and functional. A decent bed and bedding. Merve the hostess is outstanding, providing attentive and helpful service. She and their rooms are highly recommended, for a pleasant stay in Bodrum !"
