This was a layover hotel for us and it did the trick. It is only about 15 minutes away from Teminal C at EWR and also has shuttles that can drop you to the airport. Remember to call ahead of time and book your slot because the shuttle runs at scheduled time and can be full. They have a decent spread for breakfast. The reception is very helpful as well.

It is surrounded by highways, so it is extremely difficult to get there by car. The shuttle vans from the airport are black and white, making them difficult to distinguish.

It's suitable for one night stay, but the stupidest airport pick-up service is that the front desk is too busy to arrange the pick-up at all. Some guests waited for 2 hours for the shuttle to pick them up.

It was transferred from Airbnb to this hotel. The smell of paint is indeed strong. I don't know if the furniture is painted or something. The front desk service is good and the guy is very friendly. I didn't have breakfast because I had an early flight. I guess there are only a few options. Breakfast in American hotels is quite impetuous.

This was the best travel experience of all my trips. When I arrived at night, it was too dark to find the house number, but the host came within ten minutes and checked the lock for me. The room was clean and the surroundings were great. When I wanted to extend my stay, the host said he had no other place to stay, but he kindly helped me find someone else's B&B! He even drove me to the supermarket in his car! What a thoughtful person!
