"Clean and comfortable to live, choose, choose, want to live in a favorite hotel is too difficult, fortunately, Ctrip is still very convenient, can also recommend the hotel according to the distance, the overall use is very good."
"Checking in was quick and easy. Although when my family and I entered the suite, it had a weird oder. It did lingerie for a minute, but then it was gone. Other than that, everything else was great. Hopefully, the hotel can be renovated soon since there is a sign stating renovation cooking soon."

"Trip I will never use your third party service, Holiday Inn Express will keep my business for sure! Next time even if last minute like, we did, in reserving a room for two nights I will only go directly through hotel website! I would suggest to Holiday Inn to part ways in selling your extra rooms to Trip. Trip website is way below average and your customer service is no where near the Holiday Inn's Staff at the location on City Base San Antonio, TX. WE TRULY APPRECIATE THE TWO Gentlemen working the front desk late this night!!!"
"I visited San Antonio during the Labor Day holiday and the whole city was bustling with tourists. Of course, it was the holiday season, so the hotel was expensive. However, the San Antonio Brook City Base, a payfield I found on Trip.com, caught my attention because it was reasonably priced. The hotel was comfortable enough for a Fairfield Inn."

Historic House on San Antonio River and Mission hike and bike trail. Our casa is right next door to one of San Antonio's five mission's, Mission San Juan Capistrano, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We are on the San Antonio River and the wonderful newly renovated hike and bike trail that connect all the Missions. Skip rocks on the river, watch the sunset or curl up in our comfortable, charming home. With extensive grounds, nestled on 2 acres, we have a real 'getting away from it all' feel while still being conveniently located to all of San Antonio's best attractions -10 miles to The Alamo- 3 miles to grocery stores, restaurants, a movie theater and shopping!History: The main portion of the house was built 1890ish and then the rest was added in the late 20s. All the land to the south of the home used to be owned by the Southwells. It was a pecan orchard. The river portion to your west was cut in the late 50s in order to move water out if downtown more rapidly and prevent flooding. The river to the east is the original river remnant and has incredible bird life. You may also see coyotes and wild hogs on the river. It is rumored to have been a stagecoach stop and even a brothel. Keywords: homey, cozy, comfortable, updated, historic, convenient, inspiringAbout pets:No pets allowed.About checkOut:Check out before 10:30 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.Kid heaven!.About checkIn:Check in after 3:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted. You may smoke outside - we have ash trays.About events:No events allowed. No events of any kind - no guests of guests!.

Amazing
GGuest UserEveryone was super friendly, our room was clean and “the best room ever” according to our kids. We were super happy with our stay and we will definitely return!
SS CortinaWe were looking for a hotel near our family. We received a suggestion from Trip.com to take a gander at La Quinta Inn & Suites Sea World. The price offered for our lengthy stay was unbeatable elsewhere. I read the reviews and had a few concerns, but you just never know. Now, what I am about to mention I do not say lightly because I travel extensively. We arrived at the hotel after an exhaustive travel day on the road. We were greeted by a young lady named Samantha. She was probably the best front desk clerk that I have ever encountered. She was inviting, respectful and welcoming to La Quinta. She asked how our day was and assured us that our stay would be as comfortable as she could make it. She explained everything and directed us to the elevators. As we walked away, she reminded us to call on her if we encountered any issues and wished us a good night. The hotel was clean and safe. I woke up during the night and looked outside the window to check on my vehicle. I found a security vehicle stationed at the entrance of the property. This was good to see and put me at peace. The only issues that I had was the coffee and the room. I found the coffee to be Luke warm to cold on two occasions in the morning. As for the room, the hotel was a non smoking hotel, but I swear someone had previously smoked in the room. The aroma wasn't too bad but I could tell. It was tolerable but unfortunate. You trust visitors to follow the rules but not all can be controlled. A huge thanks to the best front desk clerk Samantha who checked in on us during our week visit. Thank you!
GGuest UserGreat experience. Front desk was very accommodating and very nice. They offered my kids free snacks. Clean and quiet room. Would stay here again.
KKunyingThe hotel far exceeded my expectations. The free hotel shuttle is available, but you need to call the hotel for pickup at the airport.
The room was spacious, brightly lit, and relatively quiet on the fourth floor. The air conditioner cools quickly, although it's a bit noisy. The shower's warm water comes on fast.
Overall cleanliness was not bad, though there were some stains and a long hair on the towel. The bedding was very comfortable, and I had a good rest.
GGuest UserLisa - Review house-keeping routine/policy, currently room service is every 3-days and this does not work for our stay. We were there 4-days and on day 3 room wasn't cleaned. Bathroom doesn't have a fan so moisture stays in the room too long as hanging towels over shower bar didn't dry out towels and this cause mildew smell. Trash cans only had 1 plastic liner. Went to check-in counter and requested clean and the next day didn't arrive so i saw the room cleaner with her cart and got fresh towels. On arrival the room had only 3 fresh towels in the bathroom which should have been 4
Suggestion of Improvements
1 - Complete Room service every 2 days
2 - Automatically deliver fresh towels daily as the air is very humid
3 - Trash cans to have multiple plastic liners inside so when trash is removed then there is another one ready to be used, this will keep trash cans cleaner
4 - Review number of occupants and have sufficient fresh towels in the room, 2 people equal 4 towels.
5 - Add bathroom evacuation fan so that moisture from a hot shower will be removed quickly

GGuest UserWe enjoyed the stay. Our stay consisted of 3 nights. Unfortunately we stay during the Covid 19 pandemic. We did not get the complimentary breakfast. But this is a Great hotel. Bonus is the pool. Beautiful set up. My only complaint would be, we had to constantly ask for towels. Clean rooms. Decent size rooms. I would definitely recommend this hotel. For sure coming back.
AAiqijunThis hotel is cost-effective. Convenient transportation and price is OK. The neighborhood is a little bit biased. But if there is a car, it is not a problem. The overall law is quite satisfactory.
GGuest UserThe hotel looks more run down than the photos portrayed. Homeless people just around the corner, and that made us a little uneasy... but they seemed to keep to themselves and posed no immediate threat. Wallpaper peeling in multiple places, shower curtain torn at 2 places where attached to the shower rod, wires under AC exposed and could pose a tripping hazard. The room is dark, with 4 lamps and one wall light by the door. The lamps just lit the room somewhat. The bathroom lights were also dull.
Beds were comfy. Shower was nice, needed a slip mat though. View out the back windows was awful.
And on Thursday nights and maybe the weekend, there's an outdoor band playing right next door, loud enough to keep you awake into early hours.
Only 1 of the 2 elevators was operating, and it broke down twice on two different days. The staff was very quick at getting it fixed, and it seems this is a common occurrence with a note on the wall giving a warning.
Breakfast was good, but bacon would have been nice.
The staff was amazing, sweet, and considerate of our needs. If you don't mind ”not new”, then this hotel would be nice for you.
