"The room was great. Clean, stocked with all necessary things like shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Would have liked a hairdryer but didn’t see one. The state of the building was a mess though. Major renovations left the first impressions lacking with the “front desk” stuck on the 3rd floor in a conference room. This made dragging my bag through an additional hurdle unhelpful. Renovations are often unavoidable but they should come with informing all guest about them prior to a booking a room. My room looked out onto a huge hole in the ground due to construction on the opposite side of the street. Also not ideal. Views from the lift were nice though."

"Second time staying here, quite like the vibe of the hotel. By the river side of Boston river, quite quiet during the day, but also a popular gathering place at night and on weekends. So you get both the quietness and the crowd. The room is decent sizes, nothing to complain about. And the services are also reasonable. Surely would be my choice if I come back to Boston again. Oh forgot to mention, get a river view room, it's surely worth the price difference."

"An excellent hotel! The front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. Although the breakfast selection wasn't huge, it was absolutely delicious and satisfying. They even didn't mind guests taking a reasonable amount back to their rooms (just don't overdo it!). The room wasn't large, but it was perfectly adequate, and the layout was very efficient for a solo traveler. There's a subway station right downstairs, but it was temporarily closed. Luckily, there's another entrance just across the street. Most importantly, I think this hotel is incredibly friendly for Boston Marathon participants: it's very close to the expo, with two DICK'S Sporting Goods and Lululemon stores nearby, and my 'uncle' (referring to a store/landmark) is right across from the expo. You can walk to the starting line or take two subway stops; since Copley station was closed, it was effectively just one stop to the bag drop-off. After finishing the race and picking up my bag, it was just a short walk to an open subway station. It wasn't blocked off, and it was again two stops (or effectively one) back to the hotel. The Back Bay airport shuttle is also very convenient, about a 500-meter walk from the hotel. The Museum of Fine Arts is within walking distance, and the Charles River is perfect for a run. There's a Chinese restaurant nearby, and Berkeley Noodle House is quite good – the owner is from Guangdong, and she's very nice. Surprisingly, I didn't find the Vietnamese pho to be that great."

"This hotel offers a standardized, industrialized experience, which I found to be excellent. The shared showers and restrooms, serving four rooms, were continuously cleaned by staff, which was also great. The hotel is a 20-minute walk from the North Station train/bus station, and also a 20-minute walk from Boston Common/the start of the Freedom Trail. Chinatown is a 10-minute walk away. To get to Harvard University, it's a 10-minute walk to the subway station. Remember to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste when staying at hotels in the US. The Revolution Hotel offers great value for money. Also, US hotel prices can fluctuate a lot, so it's important to book at the right time and make a quick decision. Thanks to Trip.com and the supplier. Traveling abroad really makes me appreciate how well Trip.com performs, and it's no easy feat."

"To add, the hotel is incredibly convenient for visiting MIT, as it's within walking distance. Google Maps' walking directions aren't quite accurate and will take you on a roundabout route to the dome. I recommend navigating directly to MIT Chapel; the visitor center is right across from it. From there, you can easily cut through a building to reach the dome. Getting to Harvard is also easy, just take the Red Line subway. Once you exit the station, you're right at Harvard's red brick wall and main gate. You can also take the #1 bus, which will drop you off on the other side of the red wall and another gate. You could take the bus there and the subway back, avoiding retracing your steps. Overall, the hotel's location is great and very convenient for transport."

"Is an old hotel with full of character. Lift is a mixed of modern and old. It is well situated, across the road is a huge supermarket. Amtrak train station is just 5 mins walk away. Room is a little small and the Aircon cannot be controlled. Shower water pressure is good. Best thing I like is a big kitchen with microwave and coffee machine. Even a 5 star hotel do not have this. Checked in and out is super easy. Overall I like this hotel."

"The room was new. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the refrigerator was clean. There were some mandatory purchases, but we chose cycling, which was fantastic! Breakfast was very popular, but the location was great, very close to the Redline subway station."

"One restaurant. Just had some breakfast there. A bit pricey, but it is a Hilton. The gym is 5 star. Not a typical hotel gym. This was a highlight. Rooms are fairly large. 2 bottles of water provided in room. Bathroom was large. And for The price per night I paid via Trip.com , it was a bargain compared to other properties in the area. A short walk to Newbury St., and about a 15-20 walk to Fenway."

"I booked two rooms. One was a river-view room with a balcony, offering a great view for photos, though the bed was a bit smaller. The other room also had a river view, but its balcony was enclosed within the hotel, and it had a larger bed. It rained and the temperature dropped, which actually made the enclosed balcony quite useful (haha)."
