It is amazing services and experiences with their staffs. Very friendly, very helpful, very kindness especially one of their hotel bar restaurant and her name is “Patz”. She wonderfully kindness and helpful when I struggled with my handbag letting Inside the train when we can off at foggy bottom station. She letting me to use her phone to contact the lost and found metro office and even talk through with me. Very convenient location between at M street and 22nd St NW. 15 min to White House, then few minute to all the Mall surrounded. Then train from foggy bottom to Union station or capitol for capitol, library congress, Supreme Court and all the popular museums/art gallery along the site. The hotel is the best hotel experiences we have had for our entire first trip IN USA. Just a very weird experience that both my sons got bitten by buds or fleas for the stay but it doesn’t happened to me even we in the same room and bed? All well, hopefully they no other customer had this issues. But I still feel lucky and big thank you to the teams, management and all the other onsite staff. Loved it and will definitely back to you for our next trip to DC….xx

This hotel really exceeded my expectations. Most hotels in Washington D.C. are quite old, but this one seems to have been recently renovated, creating a vibe that's both classic and contemporary. The hotel is located north of the White House, on the central axis. While it's a bit of a walk to the subway, it's definitely within walking distance. What truly stands out is the hotel's decor and furnishings. The room perfectly embodied that cozy American aesthetic I imagined, and the bathroom was spacious. The artwork chosen for the room showed good taste, and the lighting in the common areas was very comfortable. Just a heads up, the hotel doesn't provide disposable toiletries, and breakfast is à la carte. I ordered a set meal and coffee, which came to $30 including service, and it was quite delicious.

This was my first trip to Washington, DC, and I booked this hotel in advance because the location looked great and I was able to get a really good discounted price. Although the room was listed as having a queen bed, it honestly felt more like a double or full-size bed. I was also disappointed that the room didn’t have a microwave or refrigerator. However, the biggest issue was how dusty the room was. I think it was the first time in my life that I sneezed more than 50 times in a single day. It bothered me throughout the entire trip, and constantly dealing with a runny nose made me even more tired. I eventually had to go to CVS and buy allergy medicine. I chose this hotel mainly because of the price, but if I visit DC again, I would probably pay a little more and stay somewhere else. Most places are still easily connected by metro through Google Maps anyway, so getting around the city and visiting tourist attractions isn’t difficult at all. That said, the front desk staff were friendly, and the location was convenient, so I would still recommend it for solo travelers. However, if you’re traveling with two or more people, I would suggest booking a better room than the one I stayed in, even if it costs more.

The decoration looks like an old-fashioned hotel, so the facilities are a little bit worse. But the room is big enough, the health is good, there is a coffee machine, and the customer service staff are also very polite. It takes about ten minutes to get to the station.

The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the White House, and the Farragut West metro station is right outside, making it super convenient for getting around. They offer breakfast vouchers for an American restaurant across the street, which is open from 6:00 AM until it closes at 6:00 PM (I think). The room was very clean, and the shower had great hot water pressure. There's no kettle in the room, so bring your own. They do have drinkable ice water and cold water available in the hallway. Our room window faced a nearby office building, which was quite close, so we had to keep the blinds down during the day to avoid awkward eye contact.

The hotel boasts new facilities and a youthful, urban theme, hence its name 'CitizenM'. A unique feature is that everything in the room is controlled by a single iPad, including scheduling room cleaning. The only drawback is that the rooms are a bit small, so if that's a concern for you, this might not be the best fit. Also, the bed can only be accessed from one side. It's more suitable for solo travelers or couples looking for a cozy vibe, or for those who want to socialize and enjoy drinks downstairs, perhaps even for entrepreneurial or creative endeavors.

This place is top notch without being pretentious and is very well placed. Couple minutes walk to JapAmer WW2 memorial and 10-15min further to post office and union station. Staff are friendly, professional and responsive. Rooms cleaned on regular basis. Amenities were great. Place is pet & ADA friendly. Just need more coffee makers. I'm officially a fan.

I did not have the pleasure of using the facilities however, I must commend the staff for always being helpful and friendly throughout my stay. I would recommend that the staff be advised on a contingency plan or when there are power cuts in the area to mitigate any discomfort and inconvenience experienced by guests. Unfortunately during my stay at the hotel, the power went out from 4am till the time I checked out at 2pm. It would have been a nice gesture to offer bottled water, discounted rates, coupons or some type of assistance to the guests who were at the hotel to ameliorate the unpleasant situation of being without power for such a long time. Other than that, I think the hotel is in a good location and is easily accessible depending on your needs in DC.

I was here for a business trip and was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It's incredibly close to the White House, just 500 meters away, and you can even see the Monument directly from the window – the location is excellent. The hotel's food and dining options are also very good and highly recommended. The service was excellent.

Our stay at this hotel in Washington was excellent. The welcome was warm and professional, and the room was spacious, very clean, and perfectly equipped. The staff were always available and attentive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location is ideal for visiting the city's main attractions, with plenty of restaurants and public transport nearby. The breakfast was varied and of very good quality. We would recommend this hotel without hesitation and would gladly return on our next visit to Washington. Thank you to the entire team for this wonderful experience!
