Hotels near Tabernacle in Salt Lake City

"It is a self-service apartment-style hotel. The checkin time is only from 3 pm to 6 pm. If the time is over, remember to pay attention to the mailbox reserved. The front desk will tell you how to open the letter box to pick up the key. The style of the room is American retro, the kitchen is an electric stove, and the kitchen utensils are complete."

"In Salt Lake City for medical issues. The front staff was wonderful. Helped us with finding places that would deliver food after a long day at the hospital. Food for breakfast was a great variety and very tasty. Would definitely stay here again. "

"A very clean hotel and the location is very good with a beautiful Mountain View! The service person here is nice and especially the cleaner named Dagmar Castro really do a fantastic job to have the room so clean! I would recommend this hotel to all the visitors that will be in Salt Lake City!"

"Spacious room, clean, front desk staff were super friendly. Very nice breakfast, I would definitely like to come again."

"This was our first stay here and will keep it in mind as a more affordable option in the SLC Downtown space. In general, this is an older property that has the basics of a good place to stay. The rooms were clean and had a the larger ”dorm fridge” and a microwave. The beds/bedding were VERY comfortable. Parking is free and they do allow pets for a $25 fee. (NOTE: The Trip.com site says that pets are not allowed.) The location is very good, with walking-distance access to alot of restaurants, bars, entertainment, shopping, etc. We took a $7+ Uber to/from The State Room, which is only 1/2 mile away because I just had my hip replaced. Would normally have walked. What they could do better: While they have some beautiful plants on the property, they could spruce it up a bit with some paint and deep cleaning of the concrete walkways. The lobby/front desk reminds me of a motel in a seedy location. The front desk person is behind an enclosed Plexi-Glass structure and the lobby is not somewhere to gather, as it is not kept very clean. They do not serve food at all, due to COVID-era decisions (see picture), and the presence of junk food vending machines shows that they are not concerned with that decision and will continue that non-service going forward. (TIP: Go next door to The Red Beryl restaurant in the Doubletree. Excellent food, service, and prices!) Maybe if the front desk person offered a list of nearby eating establishments to guests when they check-in, this would be a non-issue. The only room challenge was that the blackout shade roller was non-operational, requiring a more manual approach with it to cover the window. As with a lot of hotels, they charge a $100 deposit that is given back when you check out. If you use a card, that's 3-5 business days. If you use cash, it's returned immediately after they perform a cursory room look-see. The staff that served us was not pleasant or unpleasant; pretty much a business attitude."

"This is a great location in Salt Lake City. It's within walk distance of tons of great eateries and bars. Friendly service. Walking to the temples and state capital and mall. Love it."

"Great hotel in Salt Lake City. Perfect location and great views from the gym and swimming pool. There are different restaurants that will fulfil your expectations no matter what you are looking for. The breakfast is not cheap, but it is 100% worth it with good product and many different options. You can find right outside good coffee and a venue with one of the largest drinks menu I have ever seen. Definitely highly recommended both for business and leisure purposes."

"The hotel room was spacious and very comfortable. Check-in was quick and convenient. It was also very fast to get to the airport from here. Overall, it was excellent and exceeded my expectations, even though it was a bit far from Chinese restaurants."

"The only problems I had were the comforter and the bathroom sink. The comforter had rolled up little stuffing in each square. It was strange and they probably should replace the comforters. The bathroom sink took over an hour to drain. Other than that, it was a comfortable stay. I would rate the front desk staff a 5 out of 5. Very friendly."

"This room is still clean. I live on the second floor. There is a staff meeting room next to the room. Some people started talking at 7:00 in the morning. There is a door in the room that leads to the conference room. The room is not soundproof, so foreigners Loudly laughing and listening very clearly, the size of the room is as shown in the picture, it is ok to live alone, and the two people lived a little. The bed in the room is very soft, and the individual does not like the soft bed. There is a feeling of sinking..."
