Hotels near West Beach in Santa Barbara

Get some sleep and then leave. There is no water, toothpaste, toothbrush and slippers. It is very close to the beach. It takes four or five minutes to walk and pass a traffic light. The hotel itself has no scenery, a little Southeast Asian style, and parking is free. A simple breakfast is provided, with only yogurt and orange juice. The bread is wrapped in plastic wrap and heated in the microwave. Energy bars and fruits are bananas, apples and oranges. There are still a few kilometers to drive to the attractions church and court.

Breakfast is a typical Western breakfast, with cereal, bread, cake, coffee, simple but sufficient. The location of the hotel is superb. Go out and turn right and walk 3 minutes to the beach, and 5-6 minutes to the pier. The front desk service of the hotel is warm and thoughtful and very friendly, 24 hours a day, and I am very patient to call for consultation if something happens at night.

I called before arriving, asking about the bedding. I told them I was traveling with 91 yr. old mother and 67 yr. old sister. I am 71. They offer 1 queen and told me extra double would be very comfortable. It was a pull out couch. When you remove the cushions from sofa, there is a note pasted on the pull out that my sheet are in a bag in the closet. The pull out was metal springs. The bag has a top, bottom sheet and pillow with no case, 1 blanket. It took 5 layers of padding to make it sleepable. All 3 of us left for the entire day and when we arrived to the room at 6:30 p.m. our used towels were still on the floor and trash cans were full. Fresh towels were delivered to our room from the common open area, not thru the hallway. This stay was not what I expected of Marriott Residence Inn at $346.00 per night plus $15.00 per night for parking. Oh and there is a sign before you enter the hallways that tell you if your car is vandalized, Marriott is not responsible. Welcome to California in 2024.

The hotel itself is very different in the way it blends in with the neighborhood, pretty nice in style and not what I was expecting for a Best Western. The hotel isn’t too far from the city center but also not close enough (which is why I gave a 4), but it is very very nice. I also gave a 4 for amenities only because I wasn’t able to use them as it was less than 24 hour stay, and I wanted to experience the city more. Overall, I did like it, comfortable bed and pillows and I believe I could have slept much longer if I didn’t have an 11am check out 🤦🏽♂️🤣. But overall I was satisfied and the staff both office and cleaning were very kind and helpful. ❤️ Santa Barbara is a very beautiful city and BW gave the right price for my stay. 👍🏽

The front desk is very strict. You must have a visa card to stay. At the restaurant at the door, I bought breakfast with breakfast. It used to mean breakfast deducted with $50. You can order it yourself. The restaurant is delicious The highlight is the pool, you will love the experience here....a large piece at hand. The pool is warm water. The hotel is small, but the location is in the rich area, very comfortable; The staff is also very enthusiastic, but after leaving the store, I was not very happy to charge an extra fee of a few hundred yuan. I wrote an email to ask what tax was charged less, but the hotel now received less money and deducted credit card money without notifying me. It was very untrue; Breakfast is equal to no coffee and fruit every day and doughnuts

Good and clean hotel. Rooms look newly renovated and were comfortable and spacious even when we had 2 big luggages. We had a car so going around the city wasn't difficult for us and the location was decent. Waffle machine at breakfast was a nice and different addition which we enjoyed. Would recommend

Conveniently located within very short walking distance to Santa Barbara East Beach. Clean and spacious room with nice heated swimming pool. Friendly staff who patiently addressed all our requests. Great place for family vacation!

Room facilities are simple and like this style. There are great pools and bars in the public area. The hotel is located in the center of Barbara and is very convenient to walk to the main street. You need to drive to the beach and charge $30 a day for parking.

The location of the model is perfect. It puts you really close to the attractions. The pool is also good.
