Hotels near West Beach in Santa Barbara

Was here for 2 nights with my partner, and first time staying at a bnb. Was pleasantly surprised by how clean and conveniently located it was. It’s a short walk from state street, where all the good restaurants and retail shops are. The breakfast was delicious and cooked with soul. The cookies were also a lovely treat. Highly recommend for a homey and enjoyable experience!

The room has a kitchen, you can cook, and the kitchenware is clean. The bathroom is white, which looks clean, but the air conditioning and toilet facilities are very old. The air conditioning faces the big bed and is covered with thick dust. Fortunately, it doesn't need to be turned on in this season. I originally booked here to wash and dry clothes, but the washing machine and dryer were too dirty and I didn't dare to use them. It was not quiet at night, there was a factory noise, and the sound of planes taking off and landing was quite loud at dawn. The parking lot charges $15 a day. The overall stay experience was average.

Absolutely wonderful location. The bike / walking path is a minute walk from the hotel, right along the beach. There's a little grocery store about a 5 minute walk up S Milpas St, so convenient. Lots of great places to eat within walking distance (1 mile) or a short drive. I didn't eat at the hotel. The room was clean but toiletries were not replenished, and my dirty glasses were not washed or replaced. For the high price tag, I would have expected that. The air conditioning in the room was great, quiet, and easy to adjust.The front desk team was very friendly and knowledgeable. My favorite people were the Valet team. They were fun to speak with, very down to earth and did their job well. Valet parking is $26.00 / night. I didn't see that price anywhere when I booked.

Very good youth hostel, rich activities and good atmosphere. About 6 minutes walk from the beach. There is a young lady who takes to the beach to do yoga in the morning. A communal kitchen is provided, eggs and noodles are provided for breakfast, you can make it yourself,

The front desk is very strict. You must have a visa card to stay. At the restaurant at the door, I bought breakfast with breakfast. It used to mean breakfast deducted with $50. You can order it yourself. The restaurant is delicious The highlight is the pool, you will love the experience here....a large piece at hand. The pool is warm water. The hotel is small, but the location is in the rich area, very comfortable; The staff is also very enthusiastic, but after leaving the store, I was not very happy to charge an extra fee of a few hundred yuan. I wrote an email to ask what tax was charged less, but the hotel now received less money and deducted credit card money without notifying me. Good and clean hotel. Rooms look newly renovated and were comfortable and spacious even when we had 2 big luggages. We had a car so going around the city wasn't difficult for us and the location was decent. Waffle machine at breakfast was a nice and different addition which we enjoyed. Would recommend

Hotel was very clean, and I have high standards! Staff was friendly and helpful. As another reviewer stated, this is not a luxury hotel, but it did provide very comfortable accommodations in a wonderful location near the beach in Santa Barbara. It even provided a covered parking spot for my car!

Motel 6 is a chain brand. There are three in Santa Barbara. Please check the address when booking. I made the mistake of booking this one. I drove to the beach ten kilometers away and found out I had made the mistake. Overall the rooms are quite decent, a little compact but have all the necessary facilities. It takes about ten minutes to drive to the beach. There is free hot water and instant coffee at the front desk. There is plenty of parking space for each room and there is a swimming pool.
