Hotels near An Hai Beach in Ho Chi Minh City

We booked this hotel and since I’m relatively new to the platform, I reached out to the property via whatsapp before arrival to confirm the booking. From pre-arrival through our five-night stay, the experience was excellent. The owners, Linh and her husband, Lan, were incredibly supportive, responsive, and resourceful throughout our stay. Their hospitality truly made the experience special. We stayed in room 306 w/a mountain view. The view is lovely, though the room faces west and can get quite hot in the afternoon. That said, the blackout curtains helped. Housekeeping is provided daily like at 8 am which may be noticeable if you’re not an early riser, but they consistently replenish towels, coffee, and tea as needed. The hotel itself is quite new (around three years old) and has thoughtful details throughout—branded slippers and water bottles, a mini chill fridge with drinks, and ice available upon request. Water pressure was good, and Wi-Fi worked most of the time without issues. The front desk staff were helpful, and the hotel offers motorcycle and moped rentals. Since we didn’t have an international driver’s license, we rented a scooter for 150K VND per day. All transactions were cash-based. They also arranged airport pickup and drop-off for 50K VND per person each way, which was very convenient. Breakfast is available, either buffet or à la carte depending on occupancy. We’re not morning people, so we didn’t try it ourselves, but other guests shared positive feedback. The location is excellent—about a two-minute walk to the beach and very walkable overall. At the end of our stay, the owners surprised us with a thoughtful gift, which we will always cherish. A heartfelt thank you to Linh and Lan for making our stay so enjoyable. One note for future guests: there are several cats on the property, so if you have cat allergies, it’s something to be aware of.

A pleasant staff, ready to resolve any embarrassing situations. When settled, they said that the trip misinstalled the photo of the room we booked. In fact it was fewer times. settled. For that, they rented a bike with a discount, moved 4 days later to a large room. Breakfast disaster: egg with toast bread (but not roasted) two slices of tomato, yoghurt, 2 pieces of arbuz. There is a toast with avocado in the menu, but there is 8 of our breakfasts it never was. Or Asian breakfast-fo bo (but if you see how many flies fly around this meat 🙈) Cleaning is a naminal. Whatever in the first (small) room to open the suitcase was to move the bed, and there was never washed, probably. At the desk too. I don't imagine what happens in the air conditioner, even if the extract is in such a state (see photo). In the second room the extract was the same dirty. The hotel is well located, 5 min walking and you are on the beach. By the way, the beach at ”bar 200” is excellent, up to good facilities also 5 min walking or on a bike.

This is an excellent beachfront hotel with a fantastic panoramic pool. The rooms are spacious, clean, and modern. The interior of the hotel also looks beautiful and contemporary. They offer free shuttle services to and from the airport. The breakfast selection is quite varied and tasty, though there's a limited choice of desserts and vegan options. The pool water is quite cool. There aren't many sun loungers by the pool, which can sometimes be an issue, but large cushion-mattresses are available. They have strict check-in and check-out times. We arrived at the hotel from the airport at 1:15 PM and were asked to wait until 2:00 PM, the official check-in time. We also requested a two-hour late check-out on our departure day to avoid leaving too early before our shuttle, but were told it wasn't possible. This might be due to the hotel's high occupancy.

The room has a teapot and a refrigerator. The hotel is on foot from the sea. I arrived early in the morning but the staff member was very kind to me. The only minus is a noisy air conditioner.

Beware as Con Dao beaches are infested with SAND FLIES. it's really disturbing. Itchy for several days. Hope I won't get illnesses that sand flies can transmit on the skin, or even inside organs of the body. I had to escape from Con Dao. Pity because it's a beautiful place with very friendly people. About hotel, it's Very nice hotel. But had to pay Instant coffee bag Wich is usually free in any other hotel. I stayed only one night then moved. Escaped Con Dao After 3 days

Great experience The hotel welcomes guests very enthusiastically and cheerfully, the hotel space is cozy and clean. Although not too big, I really like the decoration of this hotel. The staff is also enthusiastic to lend an iron to iron your own clothes. In general, there is nothing to complain about.

The location is excellent - only a 3-minute walk to the beach, and the town is quite compact. Most restaurants and cafes are within a 5-20 minute walk (20 minutes being the furthest one we visited). The room was clean and tidy, with a large double bed. Despite being across from a seafood restaurant that played loud music in the evenings, it was surprisingly quiet inside the room - a big plus! There were a few downsides, though. The water pressure in the bathroom was quite weak, and there was an occasional (but not strong) smell of sewage. Our room didn’t have a balcony, which meant there was nowhere to hang wet clothes - they didn’t dry properly overnight. However, when we mentioned this to the staff, they kindly brought us extra chairs to help with drying. Still, our towels didn’t dry completely and had a slight smell the next day - so I’d recommend bringing your own if you’re sensitive to that. Another minor issue: the elevator beeps loudly at every floor, and the sound can be heard in the rooms. You can also hear other guests in the hallway through the room door. That said, the staff were very friendly and always tried their best to help. You can rent a motorbike directly from the hotel, and there’s a basic first-aid kit available at the reception, which is a nice touch.

The Marina Bay Hotel staff were polite, friendly and actively supported us to have a comfortable stay. The rooms were cleaned thoroughly daily, with ample replenished water and tea for the room. The only area for further improvements would be around dietary needs, which would include the buffet breakfast having signs on it for what has and has not got meat in it as one of us was vegetarian. Thank you for making our stay very enjoyable and comfortable.

The place was nice, very clean and the staff were very nice too. Helpful and friendly. But, there was only the double bed in the double room which was slightly too small for a couple travelling with just hand luggage. There was an additional chair and a mini desk, but not great for working. We were tripping over our things. The low score for amenities was because there was no where to sit outside of the room. There was a neglected rooftop, which has a great view, but no chairs in reception or anywhere else. There was one chair in the room, so as a couple, we were always sat on or sleeping in the bed. It felt that if there was one less room on each side on each floor, the rooms would be big enough to be comfortable. The fire escape stairs were not very safe looking with large gaps and what seemed like one missing on each stairway. We did enjoy our stay there but had to find somewhere with a bit more space so that we could feel like we weren't in bed all the time. As a sign ngle traveller the room would have been suitable. The extractor in the bathroom was also very loud and so, it would disturb one or the other if we were sleeping and the other person used the bathroom. The staff were very nice.

Room was spacey, hot water has no problem. communicating is fine as long as you have google translate. A bit away from super center of the city, but restaurants are in walkable distance. They can arrange the miter bike for you as well. If you are looking for a budget stay, I recommend this place.
