Hotels near Bai Tho Mountain in Ha Long City

The hotel is well located within sea shore. You can walk and reach the Ha Long bay shore in 10 minutes. Breakfast is delicious with pho soup, english breakfast and yogurt. Seemed a bit pricey comparing to similar hotels around this area considering our budget.

The hotel is very new and opened this year. Some of the rooms are a bit big. I stayed there for three nights in two rooms on different floors. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. It also includes breakfast, which is delicious. The hotel rooms are the same as the pictures. They are warm and comfortable. The location is very convenient in a residential area. There are food options around. There is a matcha shop on the first floor of the hotel. Matcha is a specialty and delicious. It also belongs to the hotel owner.

Room is superb clean. Facilities are good. Location wise is far from tuan chau harbour & Bay chai harbour. Do not trust the transport that arrange by hotel's lady! Is not even taxi nor hotel's car, is a personal car who trying to charge high price. (1) We requested hotel to pick us up at 14km away from. Pre-comunicate via WhatsApp is 200k vnd, and when we arrived hotel, the guy intend to charge us 250k vnd but lastly we show him supporting proof & called hotel then only allowed 200vnd. (1) we also ask the hotel lady to book taxi from hotel to 6.1km away for where our bus pick us. Same guy again, with same trick. We ask the lady how much will be the cost , she ask us not to worry as is meter will 1km 12k vnd. Then we insist and the price range then she mentioned range 100k-150k. When end of the trip. We are asking to pay for 150k vnd without using meter. Conclusion, very nice & clean hotel but do not ask hotel reception for taxi. Or if want, insist them to book a proper taxi for u with pre-agree price. Not personal type car.

Отель милый, много одноразовых ништяков, тихо и спокойно. Район очень хороший. Напротив гора Поем. Кровать большая и удобная, в номере есть все удобства. Внизу есть кафе, но когда оно открывается, я не понял, мы были там всего ночь, и только к выезду в аэропорт проснулся хозяин. Заранее просили заказать нам трансфер в аэропорт, вроде бы даже на это отреагировали позитивно, но никакого трансфера, конечно, не было. За ту цену, что мы заплатили, очень круто!

The facilities in the room are okay, but the pillowcases are yellow and old, which makes people feel uncomfortable. This needs to be actively improved. There is a shopping mall next to the hotel location where you can go shopping.

This is an overall excellent hotel, offering great value for money with comprehensive amenities. The environment, service, and cleanliness are particularly noteworthy, comparable to Chinese chains like HUAZHU Hotels Group's Ji Hotel or Orange Hotel, but at a lower price point than Ji Hotel. I would definitely choose it again. **Facilities:** Complete and well-equipped, featuring everything you need, including a refrigerator, laundry basket, hangers, safe, and electric blackout curtains. All are modern and practical, superior to Hanting or Hi Inn levels. **Environment:** My favorite feature was the extra-large floor-to-ceiling window, which made the small room feel very open and spacious. **Service:** The service was very attentive. There's a laundry room, gym, and luggage storage. The front desk also doubles as a bar. **Breakfast:** Offers Vietnamese pho, fresh fruit (watermelon), scrambled and fried eggs, American coffee, specialty dumplings, freshly baked toast, cheese, and ham. Overall, it's better than Hanting, Hi Inn, and Ji Hotel breakfasts. **Location:** Ha Long is divided into Bai Chay and Hon Gai districts. The hotel is located in Hon Gai district. While most tourist attractions are in Bai Chay, which is across the water, Grab makes travel very convenient. The farthest places cost around 120k VND to reach. Hon Gai district itself is also very convenient, surrounded by local residential areas, making dining and shopping more accessible. Especially during the off-season, it tends to be livelier than Bai Chay. I also recommend Hon Gai beach as it's cleaner than Bai Chay beach. **Drawbacks:** The shower area is quite small, and the water temperature was very unstable, suddenly turning cold then suddenly scalding hot. I endured it for three days and hope this can be improved in the future.

Amazing place located in the heart of town with shops and restaurants within walking distance. Wonderful breakfast buffet covering western and Vietnamese tastes. Only negative the rooftop bar was closed as ”out of season” but yet the place was booked full of westerners and others. I think the owner is missing a great income opportunity besides giving the customers a great view from the bar top location.

My stay at this hotel in Halong Bay was a truly memorable experience. Очень красивый номер с хорошим профессиональным дизайном. У меня был Особый номер. Он с ванной как минибассейн. И вообще комната очень красивая и кондиционер не дует на человека. Все продуманно хорошо. Комната находится над рестораном и слышимость большая была, но ночью все тихо и переулок там тихий. Красивый район хоть и жилой. Там можно найти магазины и еду, даже хороший массаж есть если дойти до многоэтажки. Рекомендую кстати. Местные вечером плавают в заливе, вода чистая, хоть и написано что нельзя купаться.Поэтому идите вечером на набережную. Завтраки хорошие -выбор по меню. Красивое оформление блюд. Персонал отзывчивый. Иногда есть не понимание с европейцами, но они быстро перестраиваться и стараются помочь и решить проблему. Главное им сказать что не так. Просто разница менталитета. Единственное что было не очень у меня в комнате это отсутствие влажной уборки полов. Это было заметно и комната не выглядела свежей. Но менеджер сказал что решить эту проблему. В общем, все хорошо. Отель тихий и не большой. Еда вкусная.

We had a wonderful stay at Halong Harmony Hotel. The rooms were comfortable and the facilities were excellent, but what really made our stay special was the staff. A special thank you to Mr. Lam, who helped us in so many ways — always kind, attentive and ready to support with a smile. His warm hospitality made a big difference and we are truly grateful.
