"The service was very good from start to finish, phou who served us up at the rooftop bar Was a fantastic bar man and always smiling and friendly. The buffet was the best we have ever experienced, there was a great variety and quality. I usually don’t go to buffets but I was looking forward to it every morning. The room was very clean and spectacular. We had a massage everyday and thoroughly enjoyed it. My partner and I fell asleep during our foot reflexology it was that relaxing. If I am being overly critical, check in took longer then I expected and even though we got to the hotel at 10am it took until slightly after 3pm before our room was ready. We would have loved to have a higher level floor. Our room type said levels 3-7, we got allocated level 4. If I was to return I would request 5-7 as a run down building was blocking some of our view. Overall fantastic hotel and would definitely return"

"The hotel environment is excellent. Peaceful and quiet with a spectacular view of the ocean. The pool is clean and beautiful. The staff are helpful. One bad aspect of the hotel is the food. There are only two restaurants in the compound and both are bad. We reached in the afternoon and after checking in we went for lunch at one of the restaurants. We ordered seafood fried rice and spaghetti. When the food came we thought it was served from some leftover scraps! For dinner we went to the seafood restaurant and for starters we ordered the basket of bread and the bread looks like it was from the breakfast buffet. Our suspicions were confirmed the next morning when we went for the breakfast buffet. The basket of bread looks exactly like the bread served during breakfast. The spaghetti was exactly the same as well. The bits and pieces of the seafood fried rice looks like it came from the breakfast’s seafood noodle soup, except it was chopped up and fried with the rice! The whole episode with the food really upset us as we paid good money for the food in the restaurants and they are serving us leftovers from the breakfast buffet!"

"They provide a free shuttle service from Ho Chi Minh City to Vung Tau, which is a very convenient and valuable amenity. I'm glad I chose this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The hotel also features a beautiful rooftop swimming pool and bar, although the prices are a bit on the higher side. Overall, the view was stunning, and I was very satisfied with my stay."

"I stayed five comfortable nights. I slept well and had reliable and secure WiFi. The shower water pressure was good and the location is excellent. Major attractions are within reasonable walking distance. The Joi provides a laundry service, and team members were always friendly and helpful. Next door is Lucy's Kitchen which serves good food from breakfast to dinner. My accommodation was good value, and I recommend this hotel."

"Upon entering the hotel, I immediately noticed the cold drinks readily available, which was a thoughtful touch. There are plenty of food options nearby, including Vietnamese pho, banh mi, and Mixue. Of course, Vietnamese coffee shops are ubiquitous here. The facilities were also very clean. Overall, I'm very satisfied."

"👍 Pros: 1. Great location: Very close to the beach — just cross the street and the beach is right in front of you. It’s only about a 3–5 minute walk. There are also convenience stores and plenty of local food options nearby. 2. Friendly and polite staff: The staff were very polite, helpful, and hospitable throughout our stay. 3. Early check-in support: We were able to check in earlier than expected. The check-in process was also surprisingly quick, even though we arrived during peak check-in time. 👎 Cons: 1. Room size: For 2 adults and a 3-year-old child, the room felt quite small, especially without a balcony. It was also difficult to find a suitable place to air-dry wet swimming clothes after going to the beach. 2. Bathroom ventilation: The ventilation in the bathroom/toilet could be improved. There wasn’t enough air circulation, so unpleasant odors tended to linger after using the toilet. Overall: A good choice if your priority is a convenient location close to the beach, friendly service, and easy access to local food and shops. However, if you’re travelling with a young child and prefer a more spacious room or a balcony for drying clothes, it’s worth considering this before booking. ."

"A mediocre hotel in comparison to other luxury 5 star hotels. In relative terms, the location is perfect, with plenty of amenities accessible by foot or the usual Grab/Uber transportation. Other hotels around the area are of lesser prestige/star rating which really shows how much dedication the hotel has in hospitality and service. The check in and check out system lacks structure. A staff takes your bags and you queue up expecting a quick ID check. This is not the case. Plenty of luggages are left on one side and you line up at the reception. After the typical ID check, you're left waiting on the plenty seats in the lobby waiting for the phone call (which never came). Given this was a normal weekday trip, I didn't expect a full house on a Monday. Ended up talking to the staff which needed another queue. The free drinks a staff serves to everyone waiting does not make up for the time lost. (THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE FOR A 5 STAR HOTEL) The room decor are a little dated and needs a big makeover to restore its former glory as Vung Tau's premium choice. I found the electric plugs to be hard to find and or broken. Wallpapers are starting to discolor and metal finishes coming off. These little details should be considered in any future hotel upgrades. (THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE FOR A 5 STAR HOTEL) I really liked the painting frames beside each room door to indicate Service/do not disturb. Although if people are not observant, this doesn't come noticeable for them and it may become hard for people to communicate to staff when room needs to be made. The food options in the breakfast buffet was good and delicious. I did find after the first time, there could've been some more variety to the dishes. Ingredients could be substituted; dishes are made seasonally to appease to flavors across different times of the year; etc etc. There is a good carpark to lobby connection which is excellent in service. A security staff looks after the carpark entry and very friendly. The swimming pool access is a little obscure and badly designed. There is a strong incentive to access via; Dining room. After careful observation, an external staircase from the second floor leads directly out to the pool, bypassing the dining space. (THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE FOR 5 STAR HOTEL) The directions guide needs to be updated and avoid pool users coming through the diners. The hotel is a local favorite but I won't return as a tourist because for the price paid, it doesn't reflect what's being advertised. It is a ”well-dressed” 3 star hotel."
