Our room with balcony on 6F was spotless clean and smelled of disinfectant upon checked in, which means they take their housekeeping very seriously. Staff was friendly and often communicated via WhatsApp to arrange for housekeeping or simple towel changes/throwing rubbish.
They provide a reputable hot/cold/warm water dispenser at the lobby which is convenient for guests to refill. Strong water pressure & heater also made our stay much more enjoyable without having to worry about, which is nice for taking long showers after long days out and about the city.
Exact hotel location was deeper inside, further along the residential alley, which was ideal since street noises were kept to a minimum. Just order your Grab car/bike rides as usual and wait in front of the Katinat coffee store for pickup. There’s also a friendly guard manning the alley gate every night since the main gate/alley will be closed off.
Overall, my partner and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel and will not mind rebooking if we ever visit Saigon again!

Good budget hotel converted from an apartment. Room does not have safe nor fridge but there are communal fridge downstairs. Also they have free washer and dryer which is very convenient for longer stay. I would stay here again.

This is my second time staying at this hotel, and I absolutely love it. I traveled with my bunny, and I really appreciate that the hotel is pet-friendly—it made the whole experience so much more comfortable for us.
Another thing I really like is the 24-hour stay concept, which is very convenient and flexible. The staff are all incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made my stay even more enjoyable.
Highly recommended, and I will definitely come back again!

The conditions were just average, and it wasn't great value for money. The only highlight was the swimming pool; everything else was pretty mediocre. Breakfast was quite poor, and the room wasn't spacious. You'd be better off staying at a foreign-managed hotel. I'd advise caution when choosing businesses run by Chinese owners.

Everything was great! They have free laundry facilities, and the room was clean. The staff at reception were very helpful. It's easy to find food nearby, and it's close to the bus stop. However, the only downside is that the room isn't soundproof, so you can hear noise from other rooms. Other than that, everything was perfect.

My first trip to Vietnam was to Ho Chi Minh City. Before I left, I did a little research to find a suitable place to stay. I ended up choosing Secret Garden, and my experience was pretty good.
The location was great – quiet but still central. The open-air balcony was really fantastic. The room facilities were all decent, though the bathroom didn't have a separate shower and tub. Besides the bottled water in the mini-fridge, other drinks were chargeable.
During my four-night stay, the room was cleaned daily, but the cleanliness was just so-so. The front desk staff were friendly, and simple English communication was no problem. There are many small shops within walking distance, but for getting around, I'd recommend taking a Grab for convenience.

I would like to say a big thank you to Sammy and the staff in the hotel. I lost my iPhone in the room when I checked out. The hotel staff found it and contacted me immediately. As I was on the flight to another city, and can’t go back to pick up.They managed to deliver the phone to me in the next morning smoothly. Everything was perfectly organized and the people are so nice and helpful. Really appreciate the help and kindness of the staff in this hotel. 👍👍👍👍👍

Beautifully furnished room with balcony, close to the restaurants, coffee shops, and markets. Hard to get to it by car, but if you book a motorbike, it will drop you right in front.. Homestay is located in a peaceful alley, room is very clean and bright, AC and fridge worked perfectly well, bed was very comfortable. I was supposed to stay for one night, but then I extended for two more nights and got an upgraded room and also late check out.. overall a great experience, I would highly recommend staying at this place.

While the rooms aren't brand new, they are very comfortable. I booked a king room and the bed was huge!
The hotel breakfast was delightful, see the pictures below. The freshly made pho and baguettes were both delicious.
The location is excellent, you can walk everywhere.

VVictor HankIs very 5 star hotel and service is very high class. The room is also very clean. However, the room is abit squeezy but overall is good experience. One night SGD 160 is quite reasonable. The concierge team is very experience and friendly in helping us find a 24 hour clinic. The view at floor 25 is really good. They have an infinity pool at the rooftop which can see the whole of HCMC cityview.

VVilMy stay at Rivergate Central was fairly straightforward, though the check-in process was a little unconventional compared to typical hotels. Instead of a front desk, I had to WhatsApp the provided number, and a staff member came down to meet me at the lobby. That said, the response was quick and efficient, so it didn’t feel inconvenient.
One thing to note is their rule regarding luggage — if you’re carrying any, you’re required to use the service lift. It’s a bit unusual, so it’s good to be aware of this beforehand to avoid any confusion.
The room itself was simple and cosy, equipped with basic amenities like a microwave, fridge, and sink. It’s not luxurious, but it does the job for a short stay. Cleanliness was decent overall, though nothing particularly standout.
Checkout was very fuss-free. All I had to do was take a photo of the key and send it to the group chat they added me to, and that was it.
Overall, a no-frills stay with a unique system — suitable if you’re looking for something simple and efficient.

In the room one night we left a half eaten bag of biscuits on the bed side table and found it covered with small bugs in the morning, as well as a cockroach on the floor. As well, the sheets had what appeared to be blood stains from the previous visitors, which wasn’t great. Finally, a small thing was the room was quite dark, as the curtain couldn’t be opened.
The location of the hotel however was great.
