Newsham Lodge

This place is definitely perfect for Doctors who are taking PLAB 2 and also taking with Dr Mo Sobhi in Liverpool. So the place itself is literally perfect. Clean , spacious , have all the utensils and everything you need. The thing about staying in a place full of Doctors having the same exam is that you can actually find a lot of practice partners. The breakfast was amazing. the room is clean and prepared with everything you need! Apart from all of that, the people who run the place are extremly friendly and cozy.Specially, Tatiana, what an amazing host, always listening and wishing us luck in studies and the exam. She seriously made my stay much more cosy and warm. I never felt that I am far from home. She has that warmness and kindness that made my stay 100% Perfect. I really want to thank her for her kindness, and for me I consider her a lifetime friend now.

Beautiful place with a lot of homy cozy memories, the owners are your family and the guests are your friends, shout out to Tatiana and everyone else who made our stay so easy. Somehow even the people you meet there are so nice and feel like your long known friends.

amazing place , the staff was very kind and welcoming and if you asked everything the would do it . very good hospitality and vey nice people . the rooms are comfortable and quit big and clean . i will visit them in the next time i I have a chance in the future

Firstly, my visit was fleeting and I didn't end up actually staying here. By way of background, I'd booked elsewhere to catch The Rolling Stones at nearby Anfield Stadium but - due to presumptuousness on the part of its proprietor - wasn't able to access the premises concerned initially (I thought it was perhaps a scam). Resigned to having to find somewhere else, I headed to Newsham Lodge not far from this venue after seeing the accommodation logo on Google Maps. I turned up on its doorstep completely unannounced and explained what had happened to an extremely helpful young woman who answered the door called Courtney. She wasn't responsible for managing bookings but managed to contact the individual who was by telephone and was able to get the thumbs up for me to stay there that night. Just as she did, however, the proprietor of the premises I'd originally booked telephoned me with instructions on how to access it. It transpired, then, that I didn't need to and so didn't book Newsham Lodge, but I was so impressed with Courtney and what I saw of it I felt compelled to leave a fitting review! She even apologised for having kept me waiting for just 10 mins or so despite having been given no notice whatsoever that I'd be showing up. (As an aside, Courtney explained that the accommodation usually just caters for doctors, and I mentioned that I happened to be one (technically, at least) and was able to corroborate this. The individual she spoke with via telephone who was responsible for bookings, however, seemed to not raise this matter with her.)

Food quality is horrible, fungus is free with their morning bread! Reported several times by the students who were there. If you go to their kitchen and open the fridge door, it’s too stinky as most of the foods are expired. This needs to be taken care of by the authority as IMGs are paying high rent for their rooms.

I felt like home. Tatiana is very welcoming. The room was super cleaned , fully equipped and clean washroom. Her breakfast made my day before it already starts. The location is great , very calm and relaxing with good scenery. 100 percent it is my choice whenever I visit Liverpool again

Newsham lodge is an excellent place for PLAB2 preparation....You will always feel motivated and never feel alone in those stressful days...Clean,lovely,quiet environment....You will find each and everything for comfortable living...The delicious breakfast is a lifesaver in the morning rush to the academy.

Newsham Lodge is the right place to stay in if you are traveling to Liverpool for attending the academy and preparing. The place is well maintained, clean and has a really homey and friendly environment. If you travel alone, it does get intimidating sometimes to live alone. But Newsham makes you feel comfortable, because the owners and staff are very warm and also because you will find others on the same journey that you are pursuing and this makes it easier. The included breakfast is one of the best things, not only because of good food but because of the company. You get to meet wonderful people from all over the world. The kitchen is well maintained and always clean. The academy is 10-15 minutes away by walk. A key point that I would like to highlight is that, because there are people who are there for the same purpose as you, there won't be disturbances that I have heard a lot of others from other places complain of.

Very clean and neat with friendly attmosphere. It is around 15 min walk to the Mo Academy. You can meet other candidates and share knowledge and experiance. Breakfast is served with love. And Good luck
