"The resort has friendly service in every aspect. I want to congratulate the team at Pergola because they made our dinner very special, especially Chef Alejandro and our waiter Jorge. Speaking of the restaurants, in my opinion and my favorites were: Pergola dinner ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Whale View breakfast ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sakke ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Suspiro bar ⭐⭐⭐ Cafeteria ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bacalao dinner ⭐⭐ The drinks were genuine; they weren't diluted with some other cheap alcohol. You have to keep in mind that not all restaurants are open every day; checking on the app is practical. There's a swimmable beach 10 minutes away in front of the Hilton; it's not the one directly in front of the hotel. Good variety of activities. The music isn't as loud as they say. Excellent view and long infinity pool, but it's not heated. Adults-only resort."

"Marina Fiesta is an older (somewhat dated) hotel, but is in good condition. PROS: price if you get a super deal like I did; location near the marina, restaurants and shopping. CONS: probably not worth the higher prices if you don't get a deal. They take all guests to a "amenities presentation" which is designed to get you to go to a Timeshare prevention. Location is a VERY touristy area, but has good options for eating. Getting room temperature set to comfortable level takes FOREVER and when I arrived it was SUPER cold--finally got it to comfortable but next day housekeeping turned up temp to a very uncomfortable level and it took hours of poor sleep to get to a comfortable level again. Not a bad option but I would not stay there again unless got another super deal."

The hotel was mostly frequented by white people, and some of them seemed surprised to see Asian faces and showed some degree of discrimination. Cleaning was not timely, the elevator broke down from time to time, and there were some strange noises at night."

"Facilities a little old, but good for the price, the concierge of the altitude category, terrible, it is not worth paying more to receive nothing extra. Anyone can go up. At the altitude tower they never ask you for wristbands, except for “premium drinks” which are few and far between… Many waiters, but almost no attention, zero activities, bar closes very early, a lot of noise on certain levels due to the ventilation, the elevator in the altitude tower did not work for 1 day. There are 8 floors. Buffet always the same thing every day, dinners in restaurants are the same as in the buffet only a la carte and it takes up to 30-1hr waiting even when the place is not full, you have to go to the bottom of the lobby to do reservations for restaurants, with the cocierge in case of altitude, but you never feel that “plus” of extra payment, small rooms more than in the one you see in photos, but they do their job. For high season and what you pay, it's not worth it, for low season and the cost is somewhat fair."

When I first searched for this on Trip.com, if it had appeared somewhere, I would have chosen another day, but I didn't see anything written about it, so I'm very disappointed that I couldn't include it. I went there looking forward to the pool."
