The balcony is hard to beat. The ambience is very colonial and has a lot of nostalgia. It’s clean and spacious. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They even made notes for us on a map with things to do, etc. Location is good for people who like it quieter away from all the hustle and bustle, but still very easy to get around via nearby hotel shuttles, buses, taxis, etc. also only two bus stops from the outer port (for going to and from HongKong) and a few stops from inner port to enter into ************** via Zhuhai. A side note for travelers to Macau (not hotel specific): DO note the buses in Macau, especially 3, 3A (several different routes), are very confusing. We had a few detours to figure it out. Read the bus stop maps to make sure your destination is listed, and direction is right. Even the same bus number can run different lines - we are like did they run out of numbers? Why do they do this?

Room was spacious & very comfortable. Bathroom was also very big & spacious too. There was a huge bathtub & a separate shower room equipped with a rain shower which i appreciated very much. Very close to the Macau ferry terminal as well. Sands Macau is just across the road. Well worth the room price.

It's classical looking place, the amenities were good. However the service was poor, we asked to help us book a taxi from the ferry, they concierge told us there would be plenty of taxis at the ferry port, this was not true at all.

Nice hotel considering the money you pay. They checked us in two hours late BUT they upgraded our room, which was very nice of them. Overall, good experience, quite convenient location and nice staff. One little disadvantage: the loudness of air conditioner. I think it could make less noise or no noise, when working. But if you are too tired, you will fall asleep anyway, ahahhaha

Overall the hotel was not bad, we were assigned a beautiful western style room. There are bus stops near the hotel so it was easy to go to places. The hotel is also closed to some tourist attraction places. The downside is that some furnitures in the room were visibly old and scratched. The inside of the drawers were not particularly clean, but it was usable. Also while we were waiting for our table in the hotel restaurant, a huge cockroach literally crawled in front of us… luckily the staff saw it and killed it immediately.

The hotel is ok for not long stay. Pros: 1. Quite good location: walkable distance to the main attractions, the buses stop in front of the hotel, supermarkets, ATM and McDonald’s are nearby. 2. The staff is nice and helpful. They speak English which is very important! 3. The bed and pillow is comfortable. 4. The window cannot be opened but the aircon is ok, however it is noisy. 5. I had good view from my window: the street and building in front of the hotel. (Photo) 6. WiFi in the room was good. Cons: 1. The hotel is quite old, the facilities need to be renewed. Actually, they currently do renovation and warn about the noise from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. It was not a problem for me, but it would be better to know about it before non-refundable reservation. 2. I booked single room with double bed but the room was bad: dirty (or burnt) carpet, dirty drops on the bathroom door, stains on the table. (Photo 1). I asked to change the room. They didn’t have another double bed room, so they offered twin bed room. It was better, so I stayed. But still, the facilities were not really good, for instance, there was mold at the bathroom curtain and near the sink, the sink was burst and the water went out slowly. (Photo) 3. No breakfast. I hope that after renovation the hotel will be much better and more pleasant to stay.

The Hotel Man Va is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. Visitors to Macau will find that the Hotel Man Va is a fantastic accommodation choice. The hotel is just 9km away from Macau International Airport. Just a short walk from Barra Metro Station, traveling to most city destinations is a breeze. There's plenty to do nearby, with Macau Museum, Historic Centre of Macau and Travessa da Paixao all within a short distance. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings. For guests traveling alone, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.

GGuest User 2023.05.18
Staggered the time of travel on May Day. The price is okay, not exaggerated, the hygiene is not bad, and the bed is big enough. There are disposable slippers and toiletries, and the hot water for the bath comes out quickly. After crossing the border, you can take the free bus to Shiliupu. It takes 15 minutes to walk to the hotel. The hotel is easy to find, just come in directly in the small alley opposite the supermarket, and it was a circle at that time. The boss is very enthusiastic, and it is very close to the archway, about 10 minutes walk. In the evening, there is a place to eat late at night (the shop with pork belly chicken), and the set meal for three people is 289, and the taste is also very good! I love Macau~

Wife and I were in Macau for a short break from looking after our kid. We were quite impressed with the location as it's not far from attractions and shopping areas such as the Ruins of St Paul. Really enjoyed its breakfast buffet with quite a lot of French selections quite fitting for a Sofitel. We also enjoyed an excellent harbour view with the peaceful Wanzai Residential District across the border in the background. Only disadvantage would probably be its ferry pier shuttle bus service that runs at 1hr intervals. If you miss a ride, you would need to use another casino's such as the Grand Lisboa, that can be reached by walking along a ”major” road.

Superb location if you are plan to stay near MFM (e.g. accessing events at MCC). Just don't look at the map for location advice where it shows 20min walk around the airport. The hotel is literally on the departure floor and right in front of you. Front desk is on the 11 floor and MCC is 5~10min walk from the back door. Great room size and good cleaning service. You get everything expected in a good 3-star hotel. Staff are very friendly and if needed you can exchange cash to MOP at front desk.

HHannahHotel Okura Macau is super nice. This was our first time to stay at this hotel. We had a very good experience and so glad that we chose this hotel. Our visit was for my birthday and my anniversary date. The hotel staff prepared our room with birthday balloons, butterflies, origami decorations and a lovely card. Then, later at night, a gorgeous birthday cake!. We highly recommend this hotel!

VVitto1988The hotel is overall ok for a short stay. We choose it because on trip.com it was mentioned as one of the best for families due to the kids playground, but turns out it’s not the hotel’s, there is a FunZone that can be accessed publicly in the same complex (adults pay the entrance even if they want to accompany their kids, and they were not flexible to let one parent go inside even just for the last 1/2 hour before closing, to accompany our 1-year-old…). The complex is huge (includes the W hotel as well) and has access to a huge mall with plenty of food options. The main hotels of Macau are walking distance. Room was ok and view is stunning, but we found rice under the armchair that hadn’t been cleaned…

SSandeepAmazing experience at Hotel Lisboa. The hotel gave us a free upgrade and also helped provide vegetarian eating options around. The manager was kind enough to escort us to our room and explain about the history of the hotel and various sightseeing spots in Macao. There were also considerate to provide free fruit bowl and non alcoholic drinks in mini bar. The hotel is at a very accessible location and is the first five star hotel in Macau. The security also were very helpful to guide us with directions and suggestions around. Least but not the least, the hotel also provided us concierge to keep our bags after checkout to ensure smooth travel and escorted us to bus stop in heavy rains. Really value going the extra mile, definitely considering Lisboa hotel for our next stay.
