I got to stay here because I'm ordered to follow protocol entering the country. I have to be quarantined for couple of days. However, I encountered couple of issues that I think I need to address with. 1. When my flight was cancelled I wasn't given the opportunity to reschedule my date of arrival. Imagine how exhausting it is after a long flight to call agency after agency to get another connecting flights. I had to call to reschedule/cancel swab testing coz of the cancelled flight. I had to call the hotel in manila (RedDoorz near Quiapo Church) to bypass and to consider rescheduling the date of my arrival because it was so hard to get connected with an agent over the phone but it wasn't granted. So I ended up paying a night of a room without even staying in there. 2. The front desk who checked me in was rude, not even helpful at all. I asked her when I checked in if there's a WIFI. She said its in the back of my key. When I got to my room. I checked the back of my key. It's a combination of number. I know I'm not blind but it never goes through. I called her and she said that's the only password she could give me. I called her again in an hour and she keeps saying the same thing so I gave up since its 2 in the morning and I just decided to fix everything tomorrow when I wake up. 3. I called the front desk about the same issue from the evening. They said the WIFI password is only located at the back of my room key. And they said they will try to look for something else and will call me back. 2 hours passed nobody called me. I had to go downstairs regardless I'm on 'quarantine' because no one seems to be helpful at all. Caught them laughing and chitchatting in the lobby when I'm struggling to get access to WIFI to settle some things to do with appointments etc. A nice lady came to my room and help me access the WIFI. It was quick. I asked her how she did it, She said there's a different WIFI password the management just happen to change it long ago and the password at the back of my key is so outdated. So I was speechless. From the night to the afternoon I was told the same thing that it was just at the back of the key. 4. I noticed 2 small cockroaches in my room which I don't really find it disturbing but for a business a running a hotel its a big NO NO NO. 5. My second night was horrifying. I woke up in the middle of the night and felt something was crawling in my back. I was too tired and sleepy to care for it. About a couple of minutes my oranges that was just sitting in the table fell out from the plastic bag. I find it strange but I was damn tired. Later this morning I found out that there's a rat bite in my orange, my cheez whiz and even the soap that I placed in the bathroom sink had a bite on it. I called the FD and someone came in to my room. I was shocked to be asked by a guard to check if there's a visible hole anywhere in my room. He told me that how would a rat came in to my room when its all closed. I'm assuming he is not think

The place is pretty clean. Tha staffs and are very approachable and accommodating. I genuinely enjoyed my stay there.

I arrived in the hotel at around 3:30am because of my delayed flight. I was expecting that I may have issues with check-in time because normally hotels only accept check-in o until 12 midnight. At that time, I was surprised that from the guard on duty to the front staff, everyone is well awake and happy to help me unload my luggages from my car. Check-in is smooth and easy and I'm lucky enough to get a free room upgrade. The hotel is generally clean, staff are very friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast is basic but I love the dried danggit and the bitter melon omelette and skinless sausages with brewed coffee and iced tea on the side. Well done Eurotel Pedro Gil. My nth time booking on this hotel and it never fails me. I dont mind fading wall papers it doesnt affect the room. The staff are super friendly all of them. I like their quick guidelines i say its an improvement or i did t notice before some amenities are for request to save cost

Y2 Residence is a bit along Makati Avenue (about 2.5 kms from Greenbelt Malls area) and around the corner from Century City Mall. There are numerous small restaurants within easy walking distance along Makati Ave and surrounds. We stayed two nights at Y2 Residence Hotel on our way from Palawan and prior to departing the Philippines and wish we had found it earlier. On arrival were were immediately made feel welcome , met on the road and our bags taken and carried in for us. (We had stayed in a number of places in the Philippines on this trip and our previous far more expensive where this did not occur). Check in was seamless, Y2 offers an online check in however we prefer face to face. Our room a One Bedroom Deluxe Suite on the ninth flooor, while not large was easily spacious enough for the two of us. A two seater lounge, a single chair with coffee table. A small dining table and a kitchenette large enough to cook in if you wanted. The bedroom was small with one bedside table on one side wih a cupboard with safe on the other. But really what more was needed. The bathroom is small (narrow) however had everything in it including an intantatious hot water system that provided hot water quickly. Even though we faced the main entrance and a building site was adjacent to us we were not disturbed by noise. However this may change as building increases. The view from the rooftop pool and bar area are worth the extremely slow lift up and down then walk up the flight of stairs, particularly as one lift was out of service while we were there making it even slower to get to any floor/ foyer. The lift was the most frustrating thing with our stay. The pool area and surrounds are not large and would if busy you would be lucky to find somewhere to sit, however while we were there we had not problems with this. As stated the view across the city is spectacular, take a few minutes to soak it in. Pros Excellent value for money Very good service, particularly the young trainees. Definitely worth the visit! This hotel is probably my best for value hotel during my visits in Manila. The facilities are top-notch, room is big even with the classic studio plus I get to have the best view of the Manila skyline.

Firstly, the good. Good location in colourful Poblacion (close to the heart of Makati but keep alert) and reasonably priced. Good friendly staff who go out of their way, Nino, Marlon and Leo (Nino in particular gave me great help when ING Australia had suspended use of my ATM card given its overseas use even though I advised that I would be overseas! lol). Good security (steel security door) and good value. The bad....upper floors can only be accessed by stairs which resemble the steep climb to the death face of K2 (to say it is somewhat steep is an understatement). Nimble young folks and families could do it but it was a great strain for older folks like me despite the fact that the friendly staff were happy to carry my bags upstairs. Secondly, the internet there must be run by evil spirits - you would get connected and the internet would fade and disconnect, or refuse to connect repeatedly. There are many other alternative internet options (different routers for different floors) however you would get the same bad internet experience over and over again. Whilst there is no great internet even in Manila, at the end of the day the internet here was a very frustrating experience and a great difficulty if you absolutely required it (which is most of us). The rooms were so so and came with air conditioning and were about right for a budget stay.

Just had an embarrasing experience during bfast at their buffet as the staff emptied my seat even when I'm not finished yet but they apoligize after. This has been our go to hotel ever since we discovered it.Thank you again.
