Hotels near Church of the Holy Face, Milan

I´m not sure how it is like to stay at Ostelzzz for several nights, but I find it a very convenient solution for me who arrived around midnight in Milan, and already had leave from Milano Centrale by noon on the next day. I had a proper sleep for one night in a capsule. It really was a hostel, but with so much better privacy. Staffs were extremely kind and helpful. They gave me a welcome drink. Online check-in in advance made my actual check-in so much easier. Had everything I needed, incl breakfast, towel too. Clean and well-organized. Breakfast was simple, but more than good enough for me. I wouln´t hesitate to choose Ostelzzz next time.

Here is my story with this hotel. I booked a double room in the address show on google. When me and my boyfriend arrived the hotel, we were led to a completely different seperate building which is 300 metres far away from the hotel. When I showed my confirmation letter, hotel tried to claim I booked seperate building but I DID NOT. The guy in the reception came up with a solution and offered a tiny single room (attached) to us which was completely unacceptable. He said he will refund the money. I did not get any money back, neither I stayed in the hotel. I would not recommend anyone experiencing this. I am still trying to get a refund. Hotel was not helpful on this matter. There are much better options and metro goes nearly everywhere in Milan!

This place definitely has its pro’s and con’s and it depends what sacrifices you are willing to make for price. Looking at other reviews I thought I wouldn’t mind it as I’m not too fussy usually but overall I felt uncomfortable and didn’t really want to stay any longer than I had to: Pro’s -Good cheap price -Whilst further out, it’s super convenient for public transport right outside the hotel only 2 euro to get into Milan only takes 30 mins tops -The man on reception was lovely and very helpful -Rooms are big and whilst very dated and nothing to shout home about if you’re used to budget travelling they aren’t filthy or falling apart -Nice big shower room -Fast, free Wi-Fi and slippers and towels Cons -We felt the area at times was slightly scary (although we did first arrive at night) some concerning characters/gangs in surrounding areas and appeared to be in the hotel as well. It’s a pretty rundown area and we didn’t feel very comfortable there -The walls - I’ve never known anything quite like it to be honest it was so so loud I could hear absolutely everything the entire time. Babies crying, doors shutting, people talking/shouting, playing music, stomps up the hallway - constantly and late into the night waking us up. This all added to the sense of un-ease as it didn’t seem like you were on your own and I couldn’t relax in the room and just wanted to leave. -We were also in an outhouse which wouldn’t usually be a problem but felt so exposed as it was that it just added to the feeling Despite all the positives we couldn’t look past these negatives and I really wouldn’t recommend regardless of price.

Very nice hotel, a lot of space, but room, but a bit far from the town, I spend 50€ in the evening for taxi to get back to the hotel because public transport aren’t working till late, so at the end with same price I could actually booked hotel in town :)

Επέλεξα να μείνω στο συγκεκριμένο ξενοδοχείο τον Νοέμβριο του '22. Σε γενικές γραμμές ήταν καλό. Το δωμάτιο ήταν μεγάλο, με καθαρά κλινοσκεπάσματα, υπέροχο στρώμα, καλό φωτισμό και με ευρύχωρο μπάνιο. Ωστόσο, η μία λάμπα στο δωμάτιο ήταν καμένη ενώ το mini bar για 4* ξενοδοχείο, άδειο! Το πρωινό ήταν πλούσιο σε επιλογές, σε ένα ήσυχο περιβάλλον με καθαρά σερβίτσια. Το προσωπικό του ξενοδοχείου φιλικό, πρόθυμο να απαντήσει σε κάθε ερώτηση, ωστόσο, όταν ζήτησα πληροφορίες για μεταφορά προς το αεροδρόμιο, η μοναδική επιλογή (τους) ήταν ”ταξί” που κατέληξε σε συνεργαζόμενο γραφείο - ενώ σε ερώτηση ενημέρωσης δρομολογίων των λεωφορείων (μιας κι η πτήση ήταν πρωινή ώρα), η απάντηση τους ήταν ”δεν γνωρίζουμε, πρέπει να ενημερωθείτε απ' την εκάστοτε εταιρεία”, κάτι φυσικά που με απογοήτευσε, διότι περίμενα καλύτερη και πληρέστερη ενημέρωση απ' το Guest Relation. Όσον αφορά τη τοποθεσία, βρίσκεται μόλις 5 λεπτά μακριά (με τα πόδια) απ' το μετρό και μέσα σε λίγα μόλις λεπτά βρίσκεσαι στο κέντρο του Μιλάνο.

When they arrived, they could check in half an hour before, the phone in the room was burned and the light of the comfort was not working. I asked to make a check out later (at least one hour and I was asked to pay a early check out of € 30 (a little expensive x an hour more) Good cleaning The parking is a little limited, I had to leave x road my car

Wonderful place to stay in! The hotel is comfortable and nice, staff is very, very friendly and the rooms are clean. The rooms have lovely balconies. Soundproofing was bad though - I could hear everything happening in the corridor. Also there was a (locked) door leading from my room to the one next to me and when my ”neighbour” was taking a shower or watching TV, I could hear everything so well that I woke up one morning my shower was on. The location is bit weird, but worth the train ride and walk.

Everything went well. However, the hotel is far from the center of milan and it takes about an hour by public transport (3 transfers by bus) to get there. Employees very nice, helpful, with knowledge of English. The hotel is clean.

A stopover from Bergamo airport, this was easy to find and a good choice. The staff (Anna) was very good and helped us (me) with the elaborate and technical electrics in the room. The room is spacious and facilities are good. Parking underground was safe and inexpensive. Breakfast as vast and delicious. Highly recommended.

Sono stato in questo hotel anche se per la prima volta è credo che ci tornerò al più presto, parcheggio enorme e gratuito, personale molto cortese, pulizia buona, camera comodissima e soprattutto ben climatizzata, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo lo consiglio a tutti
