Mountain View Hotels in Dalian

The front desk service was excellent and very attentive to details. When I checked in, they noticed I had a child with me and quietly prepared kids' slippers and toothbrushes. Upon check-out, they even thoughtfully provided two bottles of room-temperature mineral water. This just-right level of care made us feel very comfortable. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, the lobby bar is beautiful, and the free use of computers is a great bonus!

Facilities: It is a new hotel, the facilities are very new, the corridors have some taste, the elevators are a bit slow, and they are shared with Hanting. Hygienic: Very clean, that is, I don’t know why there will be a toilet smell in the middle of the night. I told the front desk that the toilet was deeply cleaned. The toilet did not smell on the second night, but there was still a smell in the room until midnight. I got up and opened the window for ventilation. Environment: The surrounding environment is good, very close to Xinghai Square Service: Great, there is feedback to deal with, although the smell is not completely solved, but it is indeed dealt with! Cost-effective: very high, compared to many hotels, this price is very high Transportation: Convenient, near the subway station Maybe I am more picky, breakfast is more general for me, but this varies from person to person!

Traveling to Dalian during the off-season meant hotels were very affordable; Hanting was around 100-200 RMB, while Atour was a bit over 300 RMB. I originally went to the Hanting near Xi'an Road metro station. To my surprise, a hotel built in 2023 already felt old. The elevator was undergoing maintenance but still operational, the ceilings were low, and the room was drastically smaller than depicted in the photos, plus it had a strange smell. I immediately checked out. Seeing an Atour nearby that was reasonably priced, I decided to go there instead. I was incredibly satisfied with my stay here. During the off-season, I paid around 300 RMB for a hotel that would easily cost over 1000 RMB in peak season. It's a standalone high-rise building with a spacious view from the window where you can watch the sunrise. The room was large and comfortable, and the facilities were new and well-maintained. The service was also excellent. You can send clothes from the laundry basket in your room for washing and drying, and they also provide a space heater and humidifier. The gym, though small, was fully equipped with a good selection of dumbbells. Breakfast was also great; the seafood noodles were a unique highlight, and the breakfast spread was very rich. They even offered a complete selection of savory and sweet condiments for a simple bowl of tofu pudding. As I'm writing this on my flight home, I'm already nostalgic about this trip. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Dalian!

I originally booked this hotel because it was right on the coast the views were stunning but i didn’t see till too late that I had accidentally chosen a room without windows I asked for an upgrade which wasn’t available on the first night but the room was clean and adequate for a night. The next day they very kindly upgraded me to a mountain view room for free which was much better. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside to this place is that it is quite far from downtown and most attractions but it is right next to the beach so that was nice.

This hotel is quite nice. It's close to Xinghai Park and other attractions, and there are subway and bus stops nearby. The food is also pretty good. Importantly, they provide disposable towels and bath towels, which is a nice touch. The mattresses are comfortable, with just the right firmness, and the facilities are very convenient. There's a washing machine in the room, and they'll promptly deliver laundry detergent if you run out. There's a Lawson convenience store and a Luckin Coffee shop in the lobby. Overall, it's a great hotel.

Great hotel! The best location! It is located at a very convenient place ( right between XingHai park and Square, super convenient access to public transportation (tram, Metro,bus only 3 minutes away walking). The room is very clean and full of sunshine in the morning, nice seaview. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and would love to stay there again. P.S.: there were some reviews about deposit. During my stay no deposit was required.

The hotel's bay is absolutely stunning and very private. You can tell the owner has an eye for aesthetics; even though the hotel is small, every corner is picturesque, and the observation deck on the slope is breathtaking. When the weather is good, the bay turns into a beautiful 'jelly sea,' making it well worth staying to experience this beach. On the downside: It feels like the hotel's cleaning and breakfast services are outsourced to women from Northeast China. The cleanliness is frankly mediocre, so I wouldn't recommend it for germaphobes. As for breakfast, I didn't eat the food, so I can't comment on that; I only had coffee. However, the restaurant service is problematic. In the mornings, the kitchen staff were loudly gossiping in Northeastern dialect with the waitresses, openly commenting on previous guests, which was very impolite. The service lacked smiles, and their gazes were somewhat stern. While eating breakfast, they would stare at you, completely lacking personal boundaries. When my mother went to get food, an older lady kept following her and staring, making her feel very uncomfortable. There were some pastries in a steamer, and when my mother opened it to see what they were, a waitress sarered, 'These are yellow croaker dumplings, can you even eat them?!' On a positive note, the front desk staff, the bar guy, the convenience store auntie, and the paddleboard instructor were all very nice and friendly. I hope the restaurant service quality improves, and that staff receive etiquette and professionalism training, as well as addressing the cleanliness issues. Thank you.

Overall, the room by the sea offered a fantastic view. The room itself was also very clean and beautiful. It was incredibly therapeutic just to relax in the room and gaze at the scenery. However, it's important to note that there are no shops or amenities around the guesthouse. Breakfast starts late, at 8:30 AM, and there are restricted entry/exit hours during the early morning and late at night.

Very convenient place to stay. The staff is very kind and welcoming. I recommend this place for those who want to come to visit the city.
