YYeshao666I've stayed here multiple times now, and the front desk lady always gives me a complimentary upgrade to a larger room, which makes for a very comfortable stay. She's so friendly and talkative, her service is top-notch, and it really feels like coming home. The room facilities and environment are great, with no unpleasant odors. I highly recommend staying here!

GGuest UserI arrived at approximately 2:00 PM, and although my room was not yet cleaned due to the holiday period, I understood the situation. I checked into Room 232, the 270-degree sea view room, which was the highest available category at the time of booking.
Unfortunately, several issues significantly affected our stay. The condition of the room facilities was disappointing. In the first bathroom, the flush button was loose and partially detached, and there were visible cracks on the wall. In the second bathroom inside the sea-view bedroom, the door stopper was detached and the drainage system did not function properly.
Additionally, the glass panel near the wardrobe had a long crack, which made us uncomfortable using the area as we were concerned about causing further damage. Most importantly, the refrigerator was not functioning. Although a technician came on the first day and informed us that there was no power supply, no proper resolution was provided. On the second day, another technician was arranged, but we had to wait for a long time, which disrupted our travel plans. Eventually, we were informed that the refrigerator could not be used temporarily. As my family stayed for three nights, this meant we were unable to use the refrigerator for the entire stay and had to leave items with the reception, which was very inconvenient and did not reflect the value of the room.
Regarding cleanliness, the first day was satisfactory. However, on the second day, the housekeeping service appeared rushed. There were hair strands left in the room, and the bed was not properly made — the bed cover was simply pulled over without proper arrangement, and the bedding looked untidy and wrinkled. I was quite disappointed with the cleanliness standards.
Furthermore, the booking was made for three guests, yet only two glasses were provided in the room. There was no tea available, only bottled water. Communication via WeChat was also quite slow when requesting assistance.
On a positive note, the room view was beautiful, the location is excellent, and the staff who assisted us before check-in were helpful. The room design and view are truly impressive. However, after check-in, the overall experience did not meet expectations. Additionally, the mirrors in the room had noticeable stains.
I hope this feedback will be taken into consideration for service improvement. Thank you for your attention.

RRusOverall, it was quite a wonderful stay. 3 nights on the trot. Holiday mode. The room is well arranged and has a good city view both at daytime and even better at night. However, personally, for longer stays, an upgrade is more suitable. More likely. The washroom door didn't lock properly at first, the shower head was bent at an angle. And the attitude of the owner was a little less welcoming than one would have thought. I arrived around 9 pm and was famished but I was given confusing instructions instead of everything at the beginning of my journey. That needs slight improvement since many foreign travelers might not know the language.
You also have a mall to shop and eat from and the subway to go anywhere in town. These service apartments are really suited for long-term stays. Let's hope I can come back here soon.
Other than that, it's a really good place and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone. Thank you!

ZZhangtaixingxingdiandianThe room was fantastic, very clean, and came with all the necessary toiletries, plus a fridge and washing machine. The location is absolutely perfect; from the window, you get a panoramic view of Venice Water Town. Step out, and to the right is the Water Town, while to the left is the Donggang Original Point Square night market. It’s also just a few minutes' walk to Hai Zhi Yun Square to see the fountains. The owner is really down-to-earth and incredibly responsive to any requests.

AAnonymous UserIt was beyond my imagination. I didn't expect the decoration to be so good. It's well-decorated. You can cook, watch movies, and there's a projector. The bed is also very large. When I checked in, I told the housekeeper if I needed cleaning. I didn't clean it, and no one entered my room without permission. After I checked out, the front desk even watched my luggage for a long time. I went there in winter, and everyone says Dalian is even more beautiful in the summer. I plan to come back in the summer. If the price is acceptable, I would stay here again. It's also very close to the subway station.

Best of all, it was a sea-view room. The price was fantastic – definitely cheaper during the off-season and great value for money. The owner was also very kind; you meet a lot of good people from the Northeast region. The location is convenient, and the environment is elegant. The front desk service was warm and professional, the room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was comfortable, leading to excellent sleep quality. Attention to detail was evident everywhere, making it truly value for money. I will definitely be back!

GGuest UserThis was my first time staying in an apartment hotel like this, and it was surprisingly good! It was spacious, bright, and impeccably clean, with disposable face towels and bath towels provided. The living room was huge, and the dining table was massive, making it perfect for a family stay. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms spread across two floors, offering great privacy. The kitchen, fridge, washing machine, and even a mahjong table were all very practical. The location is excellent, with a supermarket, snack shops, and local specialty stores right downstairs. Xinghai Square is also within walking distance!

TtravelandeatThis hotel's location is genuinely brilliant, right in the city centre next to the Zhongshan subway and plaza, and for this price point, you really can't ask for better. The staff were friendly and helpful despite the language barrier (Google Translate sorted us out fine), and the cleaning team were lovely too.
The room was decent and properly clean, I checked for dust and there wasn't any. However, the hotel is quite old, and there was some mould on the ceiling and in the bathroom and shower curtain. It didn't bother me personally, but worth noting, and a bit of spray would be great. That said, Dalian was incredibly humid when I visited in late August, so I suspect this is partly a climate issue. Even my own towels wouldn't dry properly. The place was quite busy, mainly Chinese customers, but they were quiet and discreet.
Practical bits: they provide two bottles of water daily and disposable paper towels (which actually came in handy given the humidity). The room also had a washing machine (bring your own detergent) and you can hang clothes outside on the 9th floor veranda. There's a bus stop right outside with direct services to Xian Lu (shopping and basement food market) and the Transport University area night market, the subway goes straight to the airport, and you're walking distance from the main tourist spots like Russian Street, the old tram etc. Plenty of restaurants nearby too. And two convenience stores on ground floor. This place accepts foreign tourists and check-in was quick and easy. Internet was fast but slower in the evenings.
Honestly, some of the complaints I've read here seem a bit harsh considering what you're paying. You get what you pay for, and at this price point in this location, I think it's fair value. I'd stay here again, especially if travelling on a budget. Thank you, we had a lovely time in Dalian!

GGuest UserI wanted to write a positive review on my own initiative because I genuinely felt our stay was excellent!!! We were traveling with my grandparents and mother, a group of four. I was worried that the twin rooms in other chain hotels would be too small and disturbing, and booking two separate rooms would be expensive and inconvenient. So I found this family room online! We were pleasantly surprised. Three 1.8-meter double beds in two large rooms made it very spacious and comfortable for the whole family. We could talk and chat, but we could sleep separately without disturbing each other – it was fantastic! For such a central location, the price was incredibly good value! There was a slight musty smell when we first entered, but it completely dissipated after half an hour of ventilation. The address is a bit hard to find; you need to add the owner on WeChat beforehand. In short, this was the most satisfying and best-sleeping hotel my grandparents stayed in during their trip to Dalian and Shenyang. It's definitely worth it – perfect for families or friends traveling together and splitting the cost – extremely cost-effective!
