AAnonymous UserI have stayed in the best homestay, the boss is really very, very good, very sentimental.
1. I have been chatting with the boss before I came. I asked this and that. The boss was very enthusiastic to answer. I felt embarrassed to be polite, so I brought Yunnan and Hunan specialties to the boss. People are mutual.
2. The boss’s cooking sentence is good. My friend and I bought the dishes for the boss to make. I dare to say that it is 10 times better than the outside. Hahaha, I sincerely suggest that you try the boss’s craftsmanship. After eating, I have been talking to us about life and ideals. During the chat, we also sent us beer. The money for the processing materials also reduced me by 20 yuan.
3. Because we came here in the off-season, the boss upgraded us to the best room. We can see the sunrise from the room early in the morning, which is great.
4. The breakfast boss gave us free, and hot juice, really special care.
5. (This one was added by my friend) The boss is very easygoing, kind, and always provides constructive advice. I give 5 points because the highest - there are 5 points!

GGuest UserPicture 1 is the exterior view of the hotel. It is in an excellent location. You can reach the sunrise viewing spot on the East Cliff Cliff in 15 minutes on foot. Picture 2 is the view from the floor-to-ceiling windows of the room. The sun shines like gold on the blue sea, the road is winding, and there are two or three fishing boats. You can stay in a daze all day. Picture 3 shows Chinese breakfast, there are also Western options, and there are a variety of coffees you can order. I like this B&B very much.

OoshantoI had an incredible experience during my stay! The amazing ocean view was truly breathtaking and made every moment unforgettable. The staff were incredibly nice, cooperative, and always ready to help, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay. The location was absolutely perfect (be ready to climb some stairs 😄) and adding to the overall charm. I highly recommend this place and can't wait to return!

MM10047****The room is large and clean and has the intelligence of the whole house. The location of the hotel is very good, downstairs is Qingsha, you can go to the beach at any time, the surrounding is very quiet and there is no other business, you can see the beautiful starry sky at night, the surrounding birds and insects are singing, especially suitable for people who want to live quietly. It’s a bit scary to go out for food at night. It’s still scary to drive on the dark mountain road. It’s best to prepare some food in advance or solve dinner at the hotel. The waiters in the store are very good. We are traveling on a off-season peak. There are almost our family guests in the hotel. In the evening, there is this house in the mountains. I still feel a little panicked. The waiter sister is very comforting to me. They all live here and are very safe. The housekeeper also helped upgrade the room, thank you very much.

MMaria13579One of our best stays in China! This place was absolutely amazing. The ladies running it are hilarious and always made us laugh.
First of all - the rooms are really good for the price. We got upgraded to a much better room after our first night, free of charge. It’s also conveniently located next to grocery shops, cafes, restaurants and the beach, while still being a little out of the way from the hustle and bustle.
The food here is really good too - the (included) breakfast as well as what you can buy for lunch/dinner is really fresh. Because of the language barrier they tried to accommodate by providing more “western style” breakfasts for us, but when we realized and asked about it they made us a second breakfast that was like the one everyone else got.
They also helped us out with a driver to take us to the abandoned village, and booked our tickets back to Shanghai.
Also, the aircon here is FAST and reliable which we’ve realized isn’t a given after a few weeks in China. So that’s another (small yet important) plus for sure!
Usually I like to explore different places and stay at different accommodations if/when I revisit places, but I’d probably make an exception and stay here again if I ever come back to visit the island!

OOuaidousenI visit Putuoshan every year, and in the past, I'd usually stay at boutique B&Bs, which are quite expensive. This time, I chose Xilei Baotuo Xingzhe, and its location is fantastic. It's just a few minutes' walk to Puji Temple, and downstairs, there are restaurants like Yuanzhiyuanwei Zhenxuan and Zaozishu, making dining and getting around super convenient. As a Ctrip Diamond member, I got a complimentary room upgrade to the second floor. The room size was standard, and the soundproofing was excellent, perfect for a good rest. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and all the facilities were complete. Housekeeping kept it spotless. The mattress firmness was just right, even my friend, who is usually very picky about beds, was satisfied. Every staff member I met greeted me with a smile, which made me feel very welcome. The shuttle service to and from the station was also very well-executed. I'll definitely stay here again in the future! I especially recommend this hotel to anyone planning to attend morning prayers; it's incredibly convenient.

GGuest UserThe hotel's environment was fantastic: our balcony offered expansive sea views, and the garden was absolutely stunning. A small gate through the garden led straight to the beach. Since it was off-season, it wasn't crowded at all, which made for a very pleasant experience.
The service was excellent; the front desk, bellhops, and cleaning staff were all incredibly friendly.
The facilities were a bit dated, but for the price, the value for money was exceptional.
I'll definitely be back!

GGuest UserTrue to its five-star rating, the service here is absolutely top-notch. Eden at the front desk was fantastic and upgraded me to a partial sea view room, which had a lovely view. Every room comes with a balcony, and it was so relaxing just sitting out there. They even added an extra breakfast for us when they saw we had a child. From the moment we arrived at the hotel entrance until we got to our room, staff were on hand to help with our luggage. The hotel's location is also superb; it's just a few minutes' walk to Dongsha, and the gardens are beautiful. You can even see the sea from the lobby! While breakfast wasn't the absolute pinnacle of five-star dining, the variety was still pretty good.

The hotel requires a renovation in the public area and bathrooms (black traces of dampness on the walls, furniture broken, the carpet in public are was also peeling off, which you would not expect to see in a 4 stars hotel. The bedroom itself was renovated and the room itself is pretty big, though.
Cleaning is also to be improved, we had a lot of sand left in the shower from the previous customers.
There is no international breakfast, but the hotel is located close to the Westin (5mn walk) so you can go there.
There is a parking below.
Service is minimum, only one person at the reception desk, and no English-speaking staff.

SShuizhishanzhirouThe room facilities are old, especially the bathroom, which feels like a small hotel. Because there are elderly people with mobility problems, we were given two rooms at the end of the first floor. I am very grateful, but I didn't expect that the aunts' loud voices and rudeness are really a headache. They chattered until midnight at night and started to chatter again before 5 o'clock in the morning. Someone even knocked on the door and wanted to open the door to enter, but was stopped by her companions. We got up in a daze. The hotel has poor sound insulation. I hope the service staff can remind the uncles and aunts to speak softly and not disturb others. The only choice: moderate location
