Amazing
MMagcheA minor communication issue prevented me from checking into my booked room, which was somewhat disappointing. However, the hotel itself was quite nice.
It's an older-style onsen ryokan (hot spring inn), and while there have been some renovations, the facilities are still rather dated. The en-suite toilet in the room was rather small.
The hotel boasts six separate private onsen baths, including the Arima Izumi Genjinyu (Golden Hot Spring), which can be reserved in advance – a very convenient feature.
Another commendable aspect is the hotel's two-meal package. The food portions were very generous and of excellent quality. Breakfast was semi-buffet style, including ice cream bars, and dinner was very plentiful, featuring Kobe beef and many other dishes. As a lady, I found it excessively abundant.

Amazing
IIkanukiIt was absolutely awesome.
We really needed this kind of rest after two busy weeks in Japan. We were so happy to relax body and soul. The room was luxurious and spacious; we chose a traditional one. This was our first hot spring experience, so it's hard to compare, but we loved it. All the hot spring rooms are strictly private, which is why we chose this ryokan. We have very large tattoos, and there are no problems with that. The kaiseki dinner is a real ritual and a show that lasts two hours of clear pleasure, everything was incredibly delicious, beautiful, and nutritious. Breakfast was also excellent. I recommend arriving in Arima village in the morning, rather than staying in Kobe or Osaka, to have time to explore it. It's small but charming, with that perfect anime vibe.

GGuest UserThe room is large and well-equipped. The gold bath in the room is a little small, but the public bath is OK. It is very comfortable with few people. The hotel's kaiseki cuisine is very unique.

GGuest UserTravel with family- kids and parents. The location is excellent, right next to the bus stop ( 1 min. Walk). easy to get around the little shopping street without much walking. 711 is right cross the street from the hotel. Staff are nice here, and helpful.
The hot springs are good enough. Nothing fancy, not too big. Three hot springs - gold, silver. One outdoor hot spring.
There are some activities - music, and performance during the night right next to the hotel. The hotel is next to the road, but you can’t hear anything outside. Very quiet and relaxing.
Overall, good price for what you get.

GGuest UserArriving at night, you'll need to walk for around 10 minutes from the train station to reach the hotel. They offer a free ride to the station only after check-out, so if you want to explore the area before leaving, you'll need to store your luggage at the station. The hotel is overall very nice, comfortable, and offers a substantial breakfast.

GGuest UserThis is quite a traditional onsen hotel, featuring both 'Gold' and 'Silver' springs. Our one-night stay for five people, including two meals, cost a total of 5000 RMB, and we were quite happy with the value. Upon arriving at Arima Station by bus, you can call the hotel for a pick-up service. Check-in is at 3 PM, leaving plenty of time to explore the small town afterwards, but be aware that most shops close by 5 PM. The Kaiseki dinner wasn't particularly impressive, but it was definitely filling.

AAnonymous UserAlthough the facilities are old, but the hygiene level is still neat, if four people live in a small room is super crowded, recommended to add more than 1100 HKD to change a larger room, but was full room can not be replaced, 1 parking 2 meals package includes dinner kaiseki cuisine, feeling is a super ordinary meal with the group, don't have any expectations, sashimi is not fresh, beef shabu shabu is delicious, but the amount is very small, if you ask for guests, it is recommended to eat outside before staying, casually satisfy your hunger to stay for dinner. Also, a free bowl of ramen will be given in the evening to satisfy your hunger.

AAnonymous UserAccommodation is super convenient- comes with different types of sauna and onsen, and restaurants inside the hotel! The staff will set up futon in our room- affordable option for those who are looking for a ryokan experience. We also love the hotel breakfast! Feels v well nourished after that, esp after soaking in the onsen :) we also love the matcha senbei crackers that the hotel gave us and bought them at the souvenir store too. Highly recommend!

CCamilla TamI booked this place at the last minute as we wanted to extend our stay in Arima Onsen by one night and most hotels were fully-booked. I searched on *********** but couldn't find any suitable accomodation so thought to try Trip.com. This hotel came up only on this site and I was delighted to find it. At first I was concerned by the lack of reviews, but all the reviews were good and the room looked ideal for a family of four; 2 western beds and 2 tatami beds, with spacious living area and separate bathroom and toilet. It was really great value for money. The size of the room was very generous, and the facilities were great. We made use of the Onsen baths and the table tennis room during our stay. None of the staff spoke english but this wasn't an issue as they were all adept at using google translate. The location is also fine - it is situated between the town and the ropeway, so it is easy walking distance to each, which was very useful since they dont offer any shuttle service. All in all I would reccomend it for a short stay in Arima onsen as it is really good value for money.

JJundoI stayed in the hotel for one night and absolutely loved it. I got a beautiful room in Japanese style, clean and spacious. I saw some reviews mentioning that the location is a bit remote. Well, it is not in the middle of the ”tourist steet”, but it is very close to it and you get some privacy. It is true that you might struggle with your suitcases a bit since you need to go upstairs to get there.
The hotel has it's own little garden, which is beautifully designed. Don't rely too much on the bathtub if you are looking for a private onsen option. It didn't feel very clean and I enjoyed a common spa area in the town more. I recieved a free ticket to the common spa after check in, by the way.
