【Important Announcement】We would like to inform you that ANA Crowne Plaza Kobe will undergo a façade beautification project to enhance the overall appearance of our property and improve guest experience. The construction work is scheduled to take place from 1 November 2025 to 30 September 2026. During this period, certain areas of the hotel’s exterior will be under renovation. As a result, there may be some temporary inconveniences, including: Construction noise such as drilling at selected hours Restricted areas affecting access routes to and from the hotel and the operation of maintenance gondolas and maintenance work on the exterior balconies. Directly connected to Shin-Kobe Shinkansen Station, ANA Crowne Plaza offers 8 dining options with views of Kobe City and Rokko Mountain. Free Wi-Fi is provided throughout the property. We are pleased to announce the launch of a new direct shuttle bus service between Kansai International Airport(KIX) and ANA Crowne Plaza Kobe, operates two times a day, starting 19th July 2025. The air-conditioned rooms at ANA Crowne Plaza Kobe feature a crisp modern style with bright whites and dark contrasts. A fridge, a minibar and a flat-screen satellite TV come with the room. ANA Crowne Plaza Kobe is just 1 subway stop from Sannomiya Railway Terminal, at the heart of Kobe's exciting downtown area. Kobe Airport is 8 km away. To Kyoto it takes 30 minutes by Shinkansen train, and to Osaka only 15 minutes.

"This was our top choice hotel for summer school in Kobe, and the school bus stopped right downstairs, making daily commutes incredibly convenient. The hotel's location is excellent, about a 15-minute walk from Sannomiya. Getting to Shin-Kobe Station for the Shinkansen, Sannomiya Station for the JR lines, or simply taking the subway from downstairs is all very easy. There are also bus stops right outside for trips to Rokko or Sannomiya. You can also catch a bus from Shin-Kobe Station, accessible via a connected walkway, to areas like Umie, Kobe Harborland, and Meriken Park. Even trips to the outlet mall and Kobe Airport are easily manageable. So, transportation truly is a breeze. The hotel itself has a good number of rooms, and the front desk area is grand, spacious, and open. There was a minor hiccup during check-in, but the staff resolved it immediately. We stayed on the 29th floor, the highest non-executive floor, which was relatively quiet and offered fantastic views. We could see the Nunobiki cable car station right next door and the ocean in the distance. At night, enjoying the city lights from our room was truly delightful. The room was a good size, offering plenty of space to move around, and even had a sofa and a desk, which was perfect for my daughter to do her writing. The two complimentary bottles of mineral water each day tasted great, and the aluminum cans were very light to carry out. The shower had excellent water pressure, making both showering and bathing very comfortable. The hairdryer was a little weak, though, taking a bit of time to dry hair. Hotel breakfast was an absolute highlight! First, I want to commend every single dining staff member for their meticulous and thoughtful service. We dined in the restaurant every day during our half-month stay, and after just a few days, the staff recognized us. They would always smile and greet us proactively when we entered and exited the restaurant, which felt very welcoming. The breakfast itself was incredibly rich, with a full selection of vegetables and fruits, both in quantity and quality, making the breakfast-included option highly recommended. During this time, we did cause a little trouble once or twice 🙏 and we are truly sorry for that. However, the staff were incredibly friendly and responded very promptly, which deeply touched my daughter and me. Thank you again for your hard work; your service was truly exceptional! The housekeeping staff were also very thorough and attentive. Every day, as soon as I hung the 'do not disturb' sign and left, they would immediately spring into action. By the time I returned, the room was already spotlessly clean. We hope to have the opportunity to stay here again for a while next year."

YYueyang ChenThis was the kids' favorite hotel during our 15-day trip to Japan. The mountain scenery is beautiful, it's very quiet, and the air is fresh. We had a lot of fun making a fire, cooking, and having a BBQ together. The house is well-maintained, clean, refreshing, and warm enough. The staff are all very friendly and always provide timely assistance. The hotel's paid shuttle service can take you to some nearby attractions, which is also very convenient.

CCoCo.ChanelI booked this hotel because it was touted as one of Asia's top 100 onsen hotels for 2025. However, apart from the hot springs being decent, every other aspect of the service was a massive letdown. To begin with, both the kaiseki dinner and the breakfast the following day were truly subpar. The room was dreadfully small. Furthermore, despite inquiring about kimonos (as there were none in the room) with both the front desk manager and a server, who assured us they would send them up shortly and even took our sizes, not a single kimono materialized by the time we checked out the next day. We paid over 7,000 RMB for a family tatami room for four, including breakfast and dinner. At this price point, anyone staying here is simply getting ripped off. There will absolutely not be a second visit, and I also sensed a certain unfriendliness towards Chinese guests.

GGuest UserFood was great and Eri-san was very friendly and helpful. The room was really clean and love the private onsen with amazing view. I love how attentive Eri-san was as well, the timing in which the next meal came was impeccable, allowing me to enjoy the food thoroughly. Other ryokans I have stayed before (despite being more expensive), the breaks between the food served was very short and it felt like I was rushing to eat. The outdoor hotspring bath was great and perfect for people who cannot stand too high temperatures. Unfortunately, when we wanted to dip in Gekkoen's more traditional and older outdoor hotspring, it was being cleaned. Would love to try dipping in it the next time we visit again.

LLI66We stayed at Negiya Ryofukaku in Arima Onsen during the maple leaf season, opting for the West Wing's deluxe Japanese-Western mixed room with a mountain view. The hotel staff were incredibly attentive and thoughtful, making us feel truly comfortable. Looking out the window, the mountain was ablaze with vibrant red maple leaves, like a flowing oil painting—the scenery far exceeded our expectations. Upon check-out, the hotel even thoughtfully arranged a car to take us to Arima Station, which was incredibly convenient.

TTrip LOVERssThe room was spacious and comfortable, providing a serene atmosphere for relaxation. The onsen facilities, along with the provided Japanese bath suits and slippers, added a delightful touch to the experience. The breakfast buffet featured a variety of healthy Japanese options, which I found both satisfying and nourishing. Additionally, the view of Kobe Tower from my room was a charming highlight. The hotel's design reflects a refined minimalistic luxury, creating an elegant and calming environment. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a blend of comfort and traditional Japanese hospitality.

JJunzilanbukaihuaThe hotel is right by Maiko Beach, and opening the curtains reveals a beautiful sea view! I'd visited Kobe before, so this time I planned to go to Kobe University and the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge walkway. We came directly from Fukuoka, but since we were only staying in Kobe for one night and had to leave for Shirahama in the afternoon (a three-hour journey), my friend and I decided to sleep in and just visit the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge across the road. If it's your first time in Kobe and you want to shop and see the sights, I recommend staying around Sannomiya. Four days and three nights would be more than enough for a really enjoyable trip.

GGuest UserThe food is absolutely delicious. Breakfast is healthy and varied: miso soup, curry, rice, omelets, potato salad, sausages, boiled potatoes and broccoli, succulent fried tofu and dried tofu, fish for grilling on a mini-grill, red smoked fish, and cherry tomatoes. There are also tasty pastries like croissants and cinnamon rolls – they don't skimp on butter and jams. Plus, yogurts, sweet fruits in syrup, and muesli. For drinks, there's hot/cold coffee, tea, milk, orange juice, and iced water. The hot spring in the hotel is magnificent – both golden and silver springs, a jacuzzi, a cold pool, and cold rice tea after the onsen. They even sell sake in vending machines! You can buy souvenirs right in the hotel, and the prices are reasonable. It's a 4-minute walk from Arima Onsen station and 6 minutes to the bus stop (which goes directly to Kobe). The value for money is perfect, and the staff really go the extra mile. The kimonos are beautiful!
