【Important Announcement】We would like to inform you that ANA Crowne Plaza Kobe will undergo a façade beautification project to enhance the overall appearance of our property and improve guest experience. The construction work is scheduled to take place from 1 November 2025 to 30 September 2026. During this period, certain areas of the hotel’s exterior will be under renovation. As a result, there may be some temporary inconveniences, including: Construction noise such as drilling at selected hours Restricted areas affecting access routes to and from the hotel and the operation of maintenance gondolas and maintenance work on the exterior balconies. Directly connected to Shin-Kobe Shinkansen Station, ANA Crowne Plaza offers 8 dining options with views of Kobe City and Rokko Mountain. Free Wi-Fi is provided throughout the property. We are pleased to announce the launch of a new direct shuttle bus service between Kansai International Airport(KIX) and ANA Crowne Plaza Kobe, operates two times a day, starting 19th July 2025. The air-conditioned rooms at ANA Crowne Plaza Kobe feature a crisp modern style with bright whites and dark contrasts. A fridge, a minibar and a flat-screen satellite TV come with the room. ANA Crowne Plaza Kobe is just 1 subway stop from Sannomiya Railway Terminal, at the heart of Kobe's exciting downtown area. Kobe Airport is 8 km away. To Kyoto it takes 30 minutes by Shinkansen train, and to Osaka only 15 minutes.

"Although this is an older five-star hotel, the lobby is spacious and features the traditional five-star amenities, which are well-maintained and appear very clean. The hotel is conveniently located right next to the Shinkansen line. It was raining on the day we arrived, but there's a covered walkway directly from the Shinkansen to the hotel, so we didn't get wet, which was very handy. Check-in was quick, and the staff were friendly. They even informed us about ongoing exterior renovations, mentioning that workers might be passing by at certain times. It turned out to be work on an annex, quite far from our room, but I appreciated the heads-up. We booked a twin-bedded city view room, which was very large and even had a capsule coffee machine, though I couldn't use it as I don't drink coffee. The staff cleaned our room thoroughly every day. For breakfast, you can go to the buffet restaurant on the 4th floor, which offers a good variety of Japanese and Western dishes. The staff there were also very attentive, reminding guests around 10:00 AM that the last seating was at 10:30 AM. Alternatively, you can opt for a set menu on the 5th floor. This is served in a restaurant where the staff wear kimonos and are equally friendly. We had three breakfasts in total and chose the set menu one day; it was simple but tasty. Right next to the hotel is the Herb Garden, which is easily accessible by cable car. A short walk down from there, there's a glass house resembling an indoor rainforest. We enjoyed afternoon tea in a café inside while listening to a piano and violin performance. The hotel is just one subway stop from Sannomiya. It's also easy to walk to the Kitano-cho (Ijinkan Street) area and then to Sannomiya. My only minor complaint was that our room was quite close to the elevator; I would have preferred a room further away. The hotel also offers a direct bus service to Kansai Airport, but it only runs twice a day, at 11:00 AM and 2:30 PM. Since we missed the 11:00 AM bus, we took the subway one stop to the Sannomiya Bus Terminal, which is diagonally opposite Hankyu, where buses run every 20 minutes – also quite convenient."

GGuest UserThis was our first stay, and we were greeted immediately upon arrival and received kind support throughout our stay, making us feel at ease. We enjoyed making marshmallow sandwiches over a campfire, riding on the swings, and watching the adorable sheep roaming freely on the grounds. Just outside the front door, we could see the sheep, and the children enjoyed feeding and petting them, giving them experiences they wouldn't normally have. The air conditioning in the guest rooms was comfortable, allowing us to relax in a warm space, enjoy the view outside, and sip wine. We would definitely like to stay again. Next time, I'd like to try the hot tub.

GGigidianqianGosho-bo is conveniently located right next to an orange souvenir shop, a common stop on the way from Kyoto to Arima. Upon check-in, guests are asked to change into slippers for use throughout the ryokan. The luggage service is excellent; they bring your bags to your room upon arrival and down to the lobby after check-out, saving you the effort of carrying them up or down stairs. Both breakfast and dinner were generous and delicious. The restaurant boasts a charmingly retro atmosphere, with a vintage feel that is impeccably maintained. The public Kinsen (Golden Spring) bath was wonderful. It's a semi-mixed bath, and my skin felt incredibly smooth after soaking. However, a family member who was with me developed mild allergic reactions like peeling skin and red spots.

AAnonymous UserWe took an express bus from Osaka to Arima Onsen Station. Upon arrival, the hotel shuttle was conveniently waiting right next to the station to take us to the hotel. The hotel is nestled halfway up the mountain, offering a very comfortable environment. Both the outdoor and indoor public baths feature the famous Kinsen (golden) and Ginsen (silver) hot springs. The hotel service was excellent, and the breakfast spread was abundant. We also pre-booked the Japanese-style dinner, which was delicious and highly recommended.

003232867The hotel's food is excellent, the environment and location are very good, and the shuttle service is very fast, but the hotel does not have a separate hot spring bath, and the pillows in the room are of the same specification, with no choice, which is not very friendly to people who are used to hard pillows.

AAnonymous UserI booked a corner suite, and the room was huge with an amazing view. It had a massive jacuzzi, which was perfect for a relaxing soak after a day of shopping – I felt completely refreshed and ready to go again the next day! Though, I have to say, for Kobe, the price wasn't exactly cheap, so it really depends on what you're looking for. During the day, there are malls and an Aeon supermarket around the hotel, but there are no convenience stores nearby at night, which was a bit inconvenient. So, remember to stock up before heading back to the hotel. I didn't book breakfast as it seemed to be a set menu, which I'm not a fan of. Overall, it was a good experience. I'd definitely choose this hotel again if I come back to Kobe.

TTrip LOVERssThe room was spacious and comfortable, providing a serene atmosphere for relaxation. The onsen facilities, along with the provided Japanese bath suits and slippers, added a delightful touch to the experience. The breakfast buffet featured a variety of healthy Japanese options, which I found both satisfying and nourishing. Additionally, the view of Kobe Tower from my room was a charming highlight. The hotel's design reflects a refined minimalistic luxury, creating an elegant and calming environment. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a blend of comfort and traditional Japanese hospitality.

CChanEdwinThe service of the staff is superb and way beyond expectation.  I noticed that the yugata for my wife is men’s size and my slipper is women’s size. I hope they can be more prepared on the suitable sizes to be available for guest. The only thing I don't really like is the toilet room inside the Japanese style room. The wall paper has lots of stain spot, smelly and it is not quite comfortable to stay even for a short while to do your thing when you have a need.

GGuest User:) Thankful for the hotel shuttle service as the hotel is located after a really steep slope. Both onsen in hotel and the next building are good and clean. :( Amenities didn't include facial cleanser and milk lotion. The pillows are too hard for me. The dinner plate arrangement setting appears to be dated - some of the food containers are old/ worn out with visible scratches on the surface. The menu is in Japanese wordings - will be good to provide English version.

CChung Joy- close proximity to train station and bus stop from Kobe. - very spacious room. Enjoyed lounging on the sofa to enjoy the balcony. - dinner was sufficient but not luxurious. The steamed crab rice filled us up. - breakfast had great variety. I enjoyed the mushroom dish best. Unfortunately they did not replenish the handmade tofu for us to try. - staff was professional.

GGuest UserThere are many different types of dinner. The hot spring was a bit small. Perhaps because it was a holiday season, there were a lot of people at the hot springs. The shuttle bus ran every 30 minutes, so it was good to go to the large supermarket.
