It was our first ryokan experience and it was absolutely stunning. There are a few rooms in ryokan and we were the only guests for that night. The room was very spacious and had tiny cute details. Onsen and kaiseki dinner became absolute favorites. The dinner and breakfast were served in our room that added intimacy to the process. Everything was delicious.
The ryokan team was super friendly and ready to help with all the questions we had. As we were the only guests, we were allowed to use the onsen together as the private one — wow!
It was truly authentic experience — we would definitely recommend to visit this place.

MoliaifenxiangI was really happy to book such a great value-for-money hotel! It's a shame the private onsen rooms were so popular and fully booked. We just took what we could get, and it felt like opening a mystery box. The sunroom was actually pretty good, accommodating up to four people with two single beds and two futon sets. We booked the 'one night, two meals' plan. We could reserve our dinner and breakfast times upon check-in and just show up on time to eat – delicious and filling! 👍 The hotel also included two private onsen reservations. We went for a soak at 10 PM on the first night, and again at 10 AM after breakfast on the second day, which was perfect as check-out was at 11 AM. The hotel staff were excellent, warm, and polite. We even met the legendary driver who speaks Chinese, which felt a bit familiar and comforting 😁 The shuttle service starts at 3 PM in the afternoon, and if you want to go to the shopping street, the driver will even take you there. I genuinely recommend this hotel to everyone!

Guest UserThe double room was quite a bit more expensive than the king room, but it was very spacious and clean inside, truly comfortable 👍 The front desk is on the second floor, and there's a lounge next to it. It seems like they offer free snacks in the afternoon, but we didn't get to try them.
The location isn't far from Sannomiya Station, but it felt like a maze around there 😵💫 Plus, with the skybridge under construction, several directions were blocked, so it took us ages to find our way in and out every time 🙃 And we had to go up and down that complicated skybridge—maybe I'm just bad with directions… It's about a 10-minute walk to the airport bus stop, which isn't super convenient if you're hauling luggage.

Not sure what has happened to Japan standard in the past couple of years but had called the hotel to confirm that linens are scent free (standard in Japan before) and was told yes. Unfortunately they are not, this new laundry detergent that is slowly spreading throughout Japan is absolutely horrible causing all sorts of allergic reactions (not only to me.) I start having rashes, compromised breathing, and inflammation issues. If it’s the same detergent used back in America, then it might be eco-friendly, but definitely not human friendly. I truly hope that Japan goes back to the way it was before the introduction of some western products filled with harmful chemicals to humans. It is not because you don’t react to it that it is not harming your body, it’s only a question of time and when it does, you won’t know why and there is no turning back. Take it from an Asian American born who was the biggest fan of American marketed products. We do have good products like ECOLAB, which is both, sustainable for the environment without compromising human health. Maybe laundry company should look into that company or simply return to Japanese products before. Good thing thing their pyjama are still scent free so I had to wrap the bed and cover with their pyjama to get through the night.

Guest UserThe hotel's location is really convenient for exploring Kobe, with lots of small shops nearby and even a large supermarket next door. Even though Sannomiya Station is still under renovation, once you get your bearings, getting around isn't a big issue. It's also easy to get to Osaka, as there's a direct JR line to Umeda. Kobe is truly perfect for a city walk. I'd love to visit again sometime!

Anonymous UserThe hotel offers a convenient location, especially for those using the metro, as it is closer to metro station than JR lines. The breakfast selection is impressive, with a wide variety of options that cater to different taste. However, one point to note is that the breakfast charge of JPY700 applies even for young children. In our case, my 6-year-old did not eat much, so the value felt limited. Overall, the stay was comfortable, and the location and breakfast variety are definite highlights

The hotel is a little bit far away from Sannomiya. It takes at least 5-10 mins driving to there, so it probably takes 15 to 20 mins to walk there. As it is far from city, it is quiet, and the room is clean and large. Unfortunately, the parking spaces are limited and luckily I could find a parking space nearby. The service is good and the staff are very polite. It has welcome drinks offered. If you cannot find a hotel inside Kobe, this hotel would be another good choice to consider.

스마 해변과 가까워서 매우 좋은 호텔입니다. 서비스가 아주 좋았고 시설도 매우 만족스럽습다만 호텔의 특성(?)상 가족보다는 커플이 방문하기에 좋습니다.

The room is very nice and comfortable, a few blocks away from the main attractions . The hotel has amenities like a restaurant and a very big onsen at the upper floor, I really enjoyed my staying there and I would stay there again. 👍
