This is one hotel where I experienced the managers and front desk staff going the extra mile to engage with and reach out to customers to meet customer needs. I had a very pleasant experience at the hotel. Housekeeping is great, and I found the entire hotel and my room in particular very clean. Connecting to WiFi is completely seamless and without hassles. The surrounding location is great with supermarkets within five-minute walk. The metro station is just 5-minute drive to the hotel. A worthwhile stay experience.

Without breakfast, I paid 18 yuan for one person. I bought a double bed room for two nights at 229 yuan per night. The additional night was 265 yuan with breakfast. The first night was fully equipped and comfortable, and the second night there was no mosquito repellent liquid. Mosquitoes gnawed. One night. On the third night, there was no toothpaste, toothbrushes, combs, and mosquito coils. . . Very speechless😒

Checked in on May Day, the room which is usually 600+ was 700+ on May Day, which is really conscientious! The hotel feels like an old-fashioned star hotel. The room facilities are old but well maintained, and the room is large. Fruits were given when checking in, and a card was placed to remind the weather tomorrow. The details were well done, the breakfast tasted good, and I especially liked the porcelain rice. But I have to remind the children to pay half price, 48 per person is not expensive. What is particularly surprising is that you can visit the Xianlin Campus of Nanjing University at will when staying here, but you have to walk through the entire school to get to the subway station. I praise a little brother. He lost his room card while taking a walk in the morning, and he picked it up and returned it to me. I took a picture of the name tag on purpose. The overall check-in experience was great.

I recently stayed at Hentique Qiyun Retreat and would like to share my experience to help fellow travelers make informed decisions. The hotel had both positives and negatives, and I hope this balanced review will be helpful.
One of the highlights of my stay was its proximity to beautiful walking trails. I found these trails to be a great way to explore the natural surroundings and enjoy some outdoor activities during my visit. If you are someone who appreciates nature and likes to go for walks or hikes, this hotel's location would be a definite plus.
However, I found that the hotel's distance from the city center was a significant drawback. If your intention is to visit the city center frequently, the hotel's location might not be the most convenient option. Traveling to and from the city center can be time-consuming and might require additional planning.
Regarding the dining experience, I found the breakfast to be quite average. The food options were nothing out of the ordinary, and the atmosphere was rather noisy. There were children running around and making a mess during breakfast, which made the experience less enjoyable. It would have been helpful if the staff had intervened to maintain a more peaceful environment.
In terms of housekeeping, I had some concerns about the service provided. The housekeeping staff never made the bed during my stay, which was unexpected. Additionally, while they provided new towels, they did not remove the used ones from the room. This left the room feeling cluttered and not as clean as it could have been.

During this trip to Nanjing, I stayed in three different hotels for three nights. I originally wanted to stay at the Banyan Tree for both nights, but thinking that it would be time-consuming to visit the Garden Expo, I stayed one night at other hotels for easier travel. I regretted the experience. No two nights at the Banyan Tree. It's a bit regretful that we didn't see the expected sunset, but no matter what the weather is, no matter what the scene is outside the window, the huge picture-like beauty from the lobby is a visual impact, and it can only be captured in a horizontal screen to show its magnificence. An abandoned mine has been turned into such a beautiful hotel. I am really impressed by the magic of this design. From check-in to check-out, every receptionist was very friendly and enthusiastic. The room was upgraded, cakes were given, and the room was decorated. Special thanks to Shirley at the front desk. She added her on WeChat before checking in. During the stay, she answered all my questions. She was caring and heart-warming. She even came to greet me when I got home. I also received a gift before leaving. It is a first-class hotel with first-class service. I will stay here again next time I come to Nanjing.

The Ziqing Lake experience is maximized. Every staff member is very responsible at their job. I will come here twice. When the weather gets cooler, I will continue to bring the kids here to play. I booked a city-view room, surprisingly I was upgraded to the river-view room, Yeah !!! The room was great, it had this stunning view of the river and the island. If it was not for the work, I’d love to stay a bit longer, and enjoy the beautiful sunset with a fine glass of wine. Oh, and I love the tea set in the room, very Chinese style.
The staff was lovely, especially the manager Connie who had been very hospitable and friendly. She shared some nice information about the hotel design & decode, and gave me some ideas for walking around the area. Indeed her pieces of advice helped a lot to make my first visit here much easier.
I love Nanjing !! And I’ll definitely be back if I get the chance.

NNini121The location is remote, but the overall hotel environment is good. However, when checking in, the waitress at the front desk had a black face the whole time, as if she was owed. It was already 5pm when I arrived at the hotel, but I was told that the room was not ready and I was asked to wait for an hour. I am relatively speechless. I contacted Ctrip customer service and prepared to communicate. The waitress came over immediately and said that the room was ready. I used the bathroom sink at night and the water pipe leaked badly. Fortunately, there were two basins. It was late at night and I was too lazy to call customer service. The entire check-in experience was okay except for the hardware problems and the service attitude that needs to be improved. I didn’t go out to eat in the evening, so I bought a set meal on the second floor of the hotel. It was really not that delicious. The ingot shrimps were all cold, so I asked the waiter to heat them up in the microwave. All the dishes were like a group meal 😂. The breakfast the next day was average and enough to fill you up.

We were holding thermos cups and they filled us up with hot water and gave us two bottles of warm mineral water. Because we parked on the road at the door, we were told that a ticket would be issued and we were allowed to leave. Leave the key at the front desk to help us move the car the next morning. Very considerate! ! ! ! Because I had to go to Tangshan after visiting Vientiane World the next day, I only stayed one night. The environment was very good. Before leaving, we were given two more bottles of mineral water. I was very attentive and gave us two masks and a large plate. Oranges are for guests to pick up, but we are too pressed for time. Let’s pick them up next time hahahahahahaha

PPatrickeblevinsMy wife and I are trying our best to have children but it has been very challenging. We needed a place close the hospital and decided to try Qingmu hotel because it was conveniently located and looked comfortable from the outside and had mostly positive reviews on trip.com.
As a foreigner who speaks very little mandarin I was concerned about communication with the hotel staff. But I was pleasantly surprised with how efficiently they handled this problem. We were able to chat with help of WeChat and google translate. They also knew more English than I thought they would. Soon we were very friendly and found a productive way to communicate my needs and get the best room possible. They also helped with our travel bags and provided water and a snack. I felt very happy and comfortable with their services and they made this feel like a home more than a hotel stay.
The room was very inviting and smelled freshly cleaned. The bed was very comfortable and my wife has had back pain but said that the bed was perfect for her. It was nice that they were able to store our medication in a temperature controlled fridge while we continued to work towards conception. We had a wonderful view of the city and the bathroom had essentials to aid in freshening up between sessions. The shower had hot water and a removable head and could fit two people.
We had access to a microwave oven to warm our lunch and a laundry center to catch up on our travel clothing cleaning needs.
The hotel is located close to the subway and is surrounded by many restaurants and other forms of entertainment. Staying here during the Chinese New Year you could feel the festivities all around you, with brightly colored decorations and music.
The hotel was also pleasantly decorated with flowers in our rooms as well as in the lobby.
