very confortable rooms and friendly staff who cares about our need. It was the departure point for adam's peak climb. the hotel is well located and we have a view on adam's peak. we recommand this place. Food was also excellent and breakfast at the end of trekking was welcome !

Les hotels de ce secteur n’existent que pour ceux qui veulent grimper le Adam Peak. Ce sont des hébergements de passages. La qualité d'hébergement est donc moyenne (salle de bain minimaliste) mais cet établissement est géré avec une réelle gentillesse et une vraie volonté de faire plaisir. Néanmoins, la wifi est minimaliste et tres faiblarde, le diner est correct (sans plus) et le petit déjeuner correct. L’insonorisation est inexistante. Bref, c’est un hotel pour « pèlerin » d’un soir.

Slightly Chilled, a hotel, offers comfortable rooms with spectacular views, delicious non-spicy meals, a spacious and cozy bathroom, a large double bed suitable for couples or friends, and, most importantly, a family-run atmosphere that makes you feel at home. The family managing the hotel is very friendly and attentive, always ready to help with anything you might need. I recommend :)

This family run business is excellent and they truly want you to have a great time while you are here. The place is a bit dated but has a certain charm and is greatly priced. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming. The food (dinner and breakfast) was very well done. This is about 750m from the base of Adam’s Peak which we found very helpful because this acted as a warm up and a cool down, making the ascent and descent 13.2km in total. We picked a very wet night to ascend - despite no sunrise, this worked to our favour as no queues or persistent hawkers selling their wares. Gayantha, the owner - gave us bin bags for our wet clothes, paper to stuff our boots and was fantastically kind. There is no safe here but he was willing to put our money and passports into his deposit box and made us sign for the values which was good for both sides. He was honest as well when my husband accidentally gave him too much in cash. They wanted to be paid in cash for the night so make sure you have enough to cover it.

We stayed here for one night before heading to Adam's Peak and it was a great choice. The rooms are very clean and the staff was very kind. We were even met with a welcome drink. Food was amazing! We had rice and curry for dinner and pankaces for breakfast, all very delicious! Also incredible views from the balcony onto the nature around. 100 % recommend!

There is a lot to like about the Slightly Chilled Yellow House. The staff was excellent - very knowledgeable and eager to accommodate any request. Breakfasts were very good and plentiful. The location is great - just 500m to the start of the Adam’s Peak trail. And there are other walks through tea plantations right out the door. The room was generally fine, though felt a bit tired - not run down, just not crisp. It also smelled musty.

Un hôtel simple, mais qui a le mérite de se situer à peine 10 minutes du pied d'Adam's Peak. Les chambres du bas sont correctes et propres. Pour y dormir 3 heures, ça suffit. Le diner et le petit-déj, même sont classiques mais suffisants. Très pratique pour y passer une nuit.
