Lhasa Hotels with Free Parking.

This trip stayed at his house for three days. The boss and the couple were really good. I saw others saying that they were good in his comments. This time I really felt that I was over. The mats and pillows in the room were latex I like. It was really comfortable to live. Because there is no way to have a trip, so I can live for three days. If I have time, I want to live for a few days. I will definitely stay at his house next time. Overall, this hotel is quite good. Its location is very close to the Potala Palace, just a short walk away. It's also not far from Barkhor Street. Parking can be a bit challenging, requiring good driving skills. However, the security guard who directs parking is very nice. The service staff are quite enthusiastic. The breakfast offers a wide variety of choices and was the best hotel breakfast I had during my time in Tibet. I didn't experience the afternoon tea because we arrived at 7 PM. Free oxygen is available, and they even ask for your arrival time in advance and turn on the oxygen machine an hour or two before you get there. The rooms are equipped with a small tea table, which is convenient for tea drinking. In the hallway, there are various tea sets in a disinfected cabinet for guests to use. We also received some complimentary snacks in the room, which were quite good. I didn't get to experience the sleep aid package. All in all, if you're not driving in Lhasa and want to stay downtown, this hotel is a good choice.

I love this hotel. Staff were very friendly and caring. Due to high altitude sickness I wanted to buy Pocari Sweat on Mei Tuan but didn't have a local phone number to place the order, the ladies at the front desk helped me out. They also upgraded me to a room with the view of the Potala Palace. The room is nice, clean and spacious with oxygen supply and lots of bottled water provided. There is a big shopping mall 300 meters away (about 10-15 minutes walk) which you can find restaurants there. Free laundry service is a big plus as I spent 6 nights in this hotel. I feel the price is absolutely worth it for the customer service they provided, and I would love to try the hotels under this chain (Hilton) next time when I travel to other cities in the future.

I bought a pre-sale package on Ctrip, and the front desk ended up upgrading me to an executive suite on the second floor. Although the hotel isn't brand new, the decor is still quite good – it feels substantial and elegant. The breakfast spread was excellent, and the two-person set menu at Shang Palace was also delicious. Ms. Guo at the front desk was particularly attentive and thoughtful; she made me feel right at home from check-in to check-out. With great facilities, food, and service, the Shangri-La Hotel Lhasa is truly good value for money.

Very satisfied with everything, the best is the customer service, always answer all questions. Buy an oxygen tube for RMB 10/piece, and you can arrange an oxygen machine at the lobby bar to provide free oxygen. There were sanitary defects, cigarette butts were found, we don't smoke as a family, but it was acceptable, the sprinkler pipe leaked, and the water pressure increased after cleaning. Everything was cured by the warm customer service.

This was my third stay at Thangka, and it has noticeably declined compared to my stays in 2018 and 2023. The main reason I chose it again was its proximity to Jokhang Temple. However, this time I experienced significant and continuous noise at night. The next morning, during breakfast, I realized the noise was coming from a machine in the 4th-floor restaurant or the self-service laundry area. I promptly checked out the next day and informed the front desk. The front desk attendant was very kind and assured me that she would report it immediately. I hope Thangka improves.

The hotel's location is excellent, and the front desk staff were very efficient with check-in. It's very close to Potala Palace, making it super convenient for getting around. All the staff were warm and welcoming, the room was clean and tidy, and the night view was fantastic. Guys, you can book this place with your eyes closed – I'd definitely come back if I have the chance!

The atmosphere of the inn is very good, it is very convenient to make friends, there is a public area, a leisure area, and the reading and reading area. You can chat and eat together, make an appointment to visit the attractions, and travel alone. Well, the inn is affordable, and the price of multi-person beds is very close to the people, backpackers, students, Poor travel can come here, the room facilities are very complete, there are hair dryers, oxygen generators, humidifiers, and laundry rooms, the staff service is very good, health is also very good!

The hotel isn't to far from the Portola Palace (a short taxi trip). I wouldn't say its a true 4 star hotel. The room was a good size, quiet and didn't smell of cigarette smoke. The room was a little worn out; I couldn't get the TV to work, the mirror on the wet bar area was cracked, there were marks to the walls where paintings/pictures had once been. Most annoying was the shower cubicle and the shower over the bath had only cold water! On my last morning the power was off in my area of the hotel and the lift was not working due to the power outage. The hotel staff do not speak English, but one lady working on reception was especially nice and helpful and we were able to communicate by using the translation app. There are lots of restaurants near by, but next time I think I'd prefer to stay closer to the Portola Palace.
