SSyamiUsually donât leave reviews, but this hotel truly deserves one. The ambience was above average, very peaceful and relaxing. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and a heater was provided, which is important especially during winter.
In terms of location, the hotel is very close to Bipenggou (less than 1 km). However, walking there after a full day of activities is not recommended if you have luggage, as it can be quite tiring.
What really stood out was the kindness and hospitality of the owner. We requested a pick-up from Bipenggou, and the owner personally came to fetch us free of charge, and even sent us back again later. The owner was using his personal car, which is suitable for 2 people with 1 luggage, but may not be ideal for bigger groups or families with many bags.
The owner was also very thoughtful and even asked whether we wanted breakfast the next day. Although we were unsure if the food was halal and therefore did not eat it as we brought our own food, the gesture itself was truly appreciated.
The room was exactly the same as shown in the pictures, with a clear and beautiful mountain view from the window. Since it was winter season in Bipenggou, the room was quite cold as well, but a heater was provided to improve comfort. Overall, the room felt nice, cozy, and pleasant to stay in.
Overall, 10/10 satisfaction for the room, service, and facilities. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone planning to stay near Bipenggou.

GGuest UserThe hotel's decor is really beautiful. They even specially assigned us a room with a view of the snow-capped mountains, which was a pleasant surprise! The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and answered all our questions. The room facilities were complete, with floor heating and even a humidifier. The bedding was clean and tidy, and it was very warm to sleep in. The hotel restaurant's food tasted great and wasn't expensive, which was a big plus. Just one suggestion: there were a few too many indicator lights in the room, making it a bit bright at night. We had to find things to cover them (like the bedside panel and TV box). Hope this can be improved.

YYeliangAfter exploring the icy wonderland of Bipenggou, arriving in Gurgou felt like time suddenly slowed down. Zhuodi Kangqin is probably the most charming guesthouse I've ever stayed at along the Sichuan-Tibet line.
Soaking in the private outdoor hot spring, watching the mountain breeze sweep through the forest, as the spring mist slowly rises, the air on the plateau is crisp and clear. In that moment, the snow-capped mountains, the hot spring, and time itself all seemed to decelerate.
But what truly amazed me was the dining experience.
Having visited many places like Lhasa, Kangding, and Shangri-La, I already have a fondness for ******* cuisine. Yet, I never expected to find what might be the best ******* fusion food on the Sichuan-Tibet line in the relatively lesser-known Gurgou.
The cuisine here is based on local plateau ingredients but incorporates global cooking techniques. The robust wild flavors are elevated with a rare touch of refinement and ease.
The hand-grabbed lamb chops had virtually no ***** smell, and the meat was incredibly tender. The ******* pork belly (huiguorou) was rich and aromatic. Yak yogurt with honey, and the delightful surprise of popping boba-like pearls. The oxtail and morel mushroom soup was the most comforting solace on a high-altitude night.
Even the most traditional tsampa was beautifully presented, adorned with a tiny logo.
As night fell, the private hot spring steamed, and the special cocktails started to take effect. The owner, like a ninja, quietly appeared in every corner, then vanished among the shadows.
Many remember the Sichuan-Tibet line for its snow-capped mountains. But Zhuodi Kangqin in Gurgou makes you remember a different kind of plateau.
The snow is still on the mountains, but life here is already so warm.

GGuest UserIt's very close to Bipenggou, conveniently located right on the road to Lixiao. The rooms are spacious. Although there isn't a private balcony, there's a wide corridor which is quite convenient for smokers. The restaurant is also a major highlight; the food is delicious, though a bit on the expensive side. It's a perfectly good option for guests who prefer not to eat out.

The highlight was definitely the toilet â the best Iâve seen in China, with a warm seat! Will definitely come back and highly recommend this place. đ

MM278417****I have to rave about this hotel! It's super close to the Bipenggou scenic area, and right downstairs there's a huge parking lot with four charging stations. At 1.2 yuan per kilowatt-hour, that's a pretty good deal for charging near a scenic spot. There's also a supermarket directly opposite, which is really convenient for buying things.
And I absolutely *must* praise the front desk lady â she gave us two bottles of Rhodiola rosea when she found out we were experiencing some altitude sickness đĽš. It really helped alleviate our symptoms! If you're traveling to Bipenggou, you can choose this hotel without hesitation!

Since the room wasnât ready yet, we left our luggage and walked to Bipenggou Park, which is only about 10 minutes away. The room has floor heating, making it very cozy and warm despite the cold weather. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone planning to overnight in Bipenggou.

GGuest UserThe room layout was good, offering separate spaces for four people across two bedrooms. However, the slide was too steep, felt unsafe, and lacked entertainment value. The bunk bed room didn't seem to have underfloor heating, so we specifically requested an extra duvet at night. The room carpet wasn't very clean, but the response was quick â when we reported the broken security chain, a worker was sent to fix it promptly.
We were disappointed with the restaurant. The staff were indifferent, and the prices were too high, making it poor value for money. Although the breakfast buffet had a wide variety, the taste wasn't great, and many items felt like frozen food.
The hot springs, perhaps due to fewer guests, only had a few pools open, and they were quite small. While the infinity pool offered nice views, it was just a small swimming pool. Overall, I wouldn't consider a second visit.

BBuxiangshangbanzenmepoIt's the off-season now, and I chose this hotel for my trip to Bipenggou, as the reviews looked quite good. I booked a twin room, which was originally on the first floor. The front desk lady very kindly upgraded us to a room upstairs, where we could see the snowy mountains in the back. In the evening, I wanted to do some laundry, and since it was too late, I asked the front desk lady to help us out. The service was really great, and the breakfast had a good variety and plenty to eat. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time.
