Location was great but it’s an uphill walk to visit many of the attractions of Porto but there is public transportation although we opted to walk instead. It is close to the Douro River and a close walk over to Gaia via the bridge. The hotel is modern with an elevator comfortable furniture but there is limited surface area in the bathroom or bedroom (like a nightstand or desk) to store and use personal items like shaving kit or makeup. Bathroom is up a set of stairs not great for older travelers. Loved the security of the hotel and employees were very helpful. Close to many shops and restaurants. Safe to walk during the day and evening. We ate breakfast at the hotel a couple of the days we were there and it’s convenient but pricey at 18 euros a person.

Excellent service and lovely breakfast. Would recommend to anyone who likes boutique hotels. Location is great as well just one street away from the river and close to all the sights which are walking distance.

Location is excellent, next to the river. Lots of tourist destinations, bars and restaurants nearby. Service and breakfast is excellent. Room very nice.

Location, location, location. We spent 4 nights at the Porto River Infante. We were pleasantly surprised at the size of the room. The bed and room were very comfortable. It IS on a busy main road so quite a bit of noise. It didn't bother us at all but if you're a light sleeper, it might be a concern. Being in such a great location made up for it! We would like to make an honorable mention of Ariana. Ariana made our stay even better with her kindness and many recommendations. Ariana, we're sorry we missed saying goodbye. Thank you again!

Hemos estado mi pareja y yo en la habitación 32 de este hotel que, además de estar muy bien ubicado, tiene otros alicientes. Muy buena opción para estar a gusto, en una habitación tranquila, silenciosa, bien equipada y limpia. Lo único, el baño está en un nivel un poco superior con unas escaleras, que hay que tener en cuenta si se tiene algún problema de movilidad. Más allá de los buenos desayunos y demás, a destacar de manera especial el trato de todo el personal. Excelente. Así da gusto irse de vacaciones.
