Top Couple Friendly Hotels in Leshan

The hotel was super clean and quiet! The service was excellent, with complimentary water and a shuttle service. The breakfast was also very good! The best part is that the hotel is located right inside the scenic area, which is incredibly convenient. There's also a Luckin Coffee nearby, but the room already came with drip coffee bags. Plus, the hotel has a washing machine! Overall, it's fantastic value for money!

On September 30th, our family of four traveled to Mount Emei and chose Le Méridien based on recommendations. Upon arrival, we found that everything, from the pre-arranged pick-up/drop-off service at the high-speed rail station to the hotel's facilities, met 5-star standards. The hotel offers a rich array of activities for families, including an outdoor pool, an indoor pool, and an outdoor children's playground, making it perfect for kids. Dining and beverage options are comprehensive, and breakfast is also excellent. The hotel is conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from the Huguo Temple Tourist Center in Mount Emei (the bus stop for the Leipingping bus), and bus stops for routes 5 and 12 (which go to Fuhu Temple and Huguo Temple) are right outside the entrance. During the National Day holiday, they even offered a special child-focused study and care package for 46 yuan per person, keeping kids engaged from 1 PM to 5:30 PM!

I really loved the room and the overall environment. Housekeeper Xiao Mei was excellent; she helped me find my charger which I had left in the room. The shuttle service was very prompt; every time, the shuttle was already waiting for me before I even got there. They even gave us two boxes of milk, which I'm still enjoying. This hotel clearly has its pros and cons. Now for the cons: When we drove to the check-in lobby, there was absolutely no one at the entrance – no bellhops, no greeters. It was drizzling that day, and the shuttle driver helped us unload our luggage, but we had to carry it ourselves up to the second floor. I don't understand why these villas, many of which have second floors, don't have elevators or bellhops. With a small infant and a lot of stuff, compared to our previous hotel, the luggage service here was truly terrible. Then, we went to check out the breakfast restaurant on the basement level. I asked the restaurant staff how we were supposed to get a stroller down there, and if there wasn't an elevator. They replied that there wasn't one and that adults would have to carry the babies down. They also mentioned they had a staff elevator but we wouldn't be able to find it, so we'd have to carry everything ourselves. What?! A family-friendly hotel restaurant with no elevator? Later, I realized their answer was too rigid; they could have explained that we could take the stroller down a ramp accessible from where the shuttle drops off passengers. Some of the shuttle drivers were very nice, while others were quite strange. One driver had a sullen expression, looking clearly unhappy to be at work. At first, I didn't know you could just hop on any shuttle. This particular shuttle had other people on it and was coming from the opposite direction, so I asked the driver if I could get on. He irritably snapped at me, ”If you don't get on, how are you going to get there?!” I also saw an old man alone at the circular parking area below the main lobby, holding out his room card with both hands, looking lost and helpless as he asked the shuttle driver (who I think was a supervisor) about his room, his car, and his luggage. This driver patiently helped the old man sort out all his issues. Finally, the noodles at breakfast were delicious, and the fact that you could have takeout delivered to your room was fantastic.

We loved our stay here! And I can definitely say that it was the best hotel we stayed in during our 4 weeks china travel. The hotel is located on a hill l, so you have a beautified view. In the morning you wake up with the sound of birds and your view from your bed is on the trees. The room itself is also very luxurious and big with a beautiful design. You have your own terrace, very taste tea and a fridge with free drinks. The pool is very nice. And the only pool where you could really swim during our trip. The staff is very helpful and they are all very kind people. We booked one extra night because we liked the place so much. So if you are looking for a nice getaway in Leshan, book this place!💛

The hotel's landscaping was beautiful, and the food was excellent. Unfortunately, the gate to the Wuyou Wharf boardwalk next to the pool was locked, requiring a detour. After my river cruise, I could see my room but couldn't get in. I walked around in the blazing sun for a while before the butler finally picked me up in a shuttle bus at the exit. Butler Xiao Li responded to WeChat messages very quickly, answering all questions promptly and providing timely shuttle service.

The moment I stepped into the courtyard, I felt so comfortable. There were so many beautiful flowers and plants, clearly showing the owner's meticulous care. Next to the courtyard, many guests were enjoying the hot springs; I tried it myself, and after soaking, I felt warm and cozy all the way back in my room. The front desk even recommended putting on Hanfu for photos in the courtyard, and the Western Sichuan-style setting provided a fantastic atmosphere for pictures. The next day, the weather was great when we went up to Jinding, and every casual shot looked amazing. Overall, my stay was wonderful, and I highly recommend it!

The hotel staff were lovely and very helpful. The location is great for accessing mount emei, with one of the passenger transport stations a short walk from the hotel and an array of restaurants nearby. The room was tidy, large and comfy. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

This hotel is located in a resort community, just 2 kilometers from Mount Emei, essentially right at the foot of the mountain. The location offers great value for money. The environment is very tranquil, and the rooms are decorated with a strong Chinese flair and are very spacious. From the higher floors and rooms with good views, you can even see Mount Emei from the balcony! Although the room facilities are a bit dated, they are very clean, and the staff are very enthusiastic. It's a really good choice.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay! The facilities were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and everything I needed was easily accessible. The service was excellent—friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout my stay. A special thank you to Wu Yujia for ensuring we received optimum service. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would happily stay here again!

The accommodation at Leidongping was rather basic. It was good that our upstairs room had an external window, so it wasn't damp and didn't have any musty smell. However, the facilities were definitely old and outdated, but it was tolerable for just one night. The main drawbacks were the poor sound insulation and the inconsistent water temperature, which kept fluctuating between hot and cold. I hope the owner invests in some much-needed upgrades!
