Hotels near Enoteca Cardeto, Rome

I would have liked to rate the hotel as 4.5* however our room was at the front of the hotel and even with the windows shut it was very noisy from the large road junction outside, plus there was noise from other residents and tvs in other rooms, maybe some soundproofing needs to be carried out. That having been said the location was excellent, an easily walkable distance to main attractions, plus a metro stop is directly outside the hotel. The area felt safe at night and there some very good restaurants to try which are only minutes away. Should you wish to go shopping then there are plenty of non-designer shops to choose from nearby including a very good department store called COIN. Our room was a good size and had a lovely bathroom. The bed was large and extremely comfortable, the linen was super soft. Cleaning through the hotel was of a high standard. Breakfast was excellent, everything you might want and the most delicious scrambled eggs I have ever had in a hotel. There were salads, pastries, cakes, fresh fruit, yoghurts, different cured meats and cheeses, sausages and bacon and vegetarian options. Top marks for the hard working breakfast staff. A great start to the day. Staff generally were friendly and helpful. At reception were snacks and drinks to welcome you which was a nice gesture. The hotel also has a small restaurant, ideal for lunches or if you are too exhausted to leave the hotel at night. We had pizzas and salads there a couple of times for lunch and they were very good. The reception area is good with couches, they will look after your baggage if you have a late flight. A very enjoyable stay.

The hotel is located in a strategic location, just a few steps from the entrance of the metro, just next to a supermarket and a variety of bars and restaurants. The hotel is very friendly and professionally staffed. The room was very comfortable and was very comfortable. Prices in the standard considered location and services near the hotel. Recommended if for a short period (2/3 nights), otherwise even if you are alone like me, it is better to take a higher-class room, Because otherwise it tends to become a distressing single standard room.

Location is amazing, walking distance to Termini train Station. Metro and Busstop 200m. Very clean, good breakfast although Coffee was cold one morning. Has A/C and a small fridge, didnt use it though. Stated in a Single room w a Single bed, very comfy. Shower is very small so a 'bigger' person might have problems to get in the shower. WLAN works perfectly. Stuff is nice. Restaurants are close. Stated 3 nights it was perfect for a City Trip.

I'm sure that each of us has his own scale of factors to evaluate whether a place is beautiful or ugly but that the added value is the people. In this clean, nice and very comfortable hotel, near the Roma Termini station, it is precisely the people who make a small hotel a point of reference for our trips to Rome. Paola from the reception was, and is, the person who followed us during the booking process and who went out of her way to help us project our photographs on a wall, in a small room set up just for us, a small group of photographers arrived in town for a two day photography course. Really convenient location with only 3-min distance to Roma Termini giving you quick and easy transfer to the airport and elsewhere in Italy by train. Rooms have been renovated too. However, front desk staff was really rude. When I dropped my room keys in the transparent plastic box placed on the front desk for an express check-out and turned around leaving the hotel, staff shouted at me asking me to wait in line. The staff said I haven’t cleared my payment and tried to charge me full room rate plus city tax even though I have prepaid the room rate to Agoda in full. True that I haven’t paid city tax but they have swiped my credit card upon check-in or they could have asked me to pay upon check-in either. I suggested the hotel should have hided their express check out box if there is no such option available. The staff bluntly replied it is for guests who have cleared all the payment. It is really ironic who can enjoy express check out, if the hotel doesn’t charge city tax upfront nor charge it to credit card. Meanwhile, the room cleaning is so-so and forgot to refill shampoo/shower gel/fresh tower quite a few times during our stay. Also, the windows isn’t good at isolating street noise. This was my second stay at Nerva Accomodation Cavour, and I was completely satisfied. We arrived about 9pm having chosen the self check-in option: access to the hotel and room were via PIN codes supplied by WhatsApp, which worked fine. Room was perfectly clean and had air conditioning controlled by a remote control. Staff were available at breakfast, which comprised tea/coffee and a selection of pastries and yoghurts. A little noise could be heard from other rooms, but nothing disturbing. Location is a short walk from both Termini station and the Colosseum.

I will start from check in: This was easy, but the guy on the desk was rude and miserable. We were taken to our room by a guy who was slightly more pleasant. We were in Bernini 3. The room was spotlessly clean, but very very small, and dark. The mini bar was filled daily, as were the toiletries and towels, and the room was cleaned to a high standard, it also had awesome aircon. The down side was it’s general size and dungeon like feeling. The 2nd bed was a really thin “mattress” chair bed in alcove in front of the door to the balcony, which didn’t open fully, as the bed was in front of it. We asked for another mattress, as you actually fell through the one on it, which the hotel did for us. Overall the room was functional and clean, but not nice. I think looking at the website and Tripadvisor, the only room with no photos, which maybe due to the fact that you were unable to show how the room was. Breakfast was very nice and fresh made, and the man working there was very nice. The hotel was in the centre of everything, so is a great base, with the trevi fountain 1 minute away, and everything else within a 10-20 minute walk. Sorry for the 3 ranting, the room was terrible, but the hotel and position was great.

Liked the location of the hotel in EUR Rome. The rooms are nice and clean, good TV channels including BBC and CNN. The experience was ruined by the 1 hour + noise from the trucks loading and unloading skips in the next door Euromax shopping centre. The banging noise is horrendous. Sara did offer to replace my room but as i had 1 more night i didn't bother. The breakfast area is very busy and chaotic, takes a long time to get coffee from the Barista's. The breakfast items are okay but nothing substantial, they are very supermarket affair. The corridors are boring and dull and definitely 3 stars. The staff are friendly and helpful. The Euromax shopping centre next door is an excellent diversion on a rainy day.

Abbiamo soggiornato in occasione dell'evento Europa in danza, insieme a mia figlia che ha partecipato alle audizioni con maestri internazionali. Personale accogliente e preparato. Pulizia della camera ottimale. Colazione a buffet con cibi salati e dolci davvero ottima. Nei pressi c'è un fornitissimo supermercato (Panorama). Facilità di parcheggio nel piazzale antistante l'hotel. Ottima esperienza. Da ripetere.

Fantastic village, beautiful surroundings and very peaceful. Train station is around a 30 minute walk from the village where you can get cheap trains to Rome and the airport. Great place to get a good night’s rest and good value too. I stayed there between flights so it was convenient as it is only 1 hour 15 minutes by train to the airport. There are restaurants, plenty of toilets and even a shuttle bus. I didn’t use any of these services because I just needed to sleep but there are lots of amenities. I stayed in a basic room which had 2 beds, table, light and power socket. That’s all you need. There is a heater and blankets for when it gets cold. A generous amount of toilet paper is also provided which can be used in the shared toilets. Staff are friendly. All in all a great place to stay!
