Great location, comfortable, spacious and quiet room. The best part is the staff very helpful in making dinner reservations since i cant speak Japanese. The buffet breakfast is delicious with many varieties and selections. One area to improve is if the hotel could provide drinking water or water refill services, then it will make the stay perfect.

The location is great, JR Sapporo station is also within walking distance. Sleep wear and deodorize spray are provided. All the basic amenities are provided. Clean, new and well maintained hotel. The first night we called front desk as we had a little question regarding the bathtub and the staff came up to our room immediately to help, this skipped the tedious communication in the phone as we don't speak Japanese. There's no public bath here but we have a big bathtub and spacious toilet. Overall happy with my stay here.

I used it for my trip to Hokkaido at the end of the year. I'm worried about driving on a snowy road, so I made the means of transportation for this trip by rail. Convenient near the station. The rooms are comparable to other Toyoko Inns. I am grateful that a humidifier was prepared in the room. As for the amenities, lotion, etc., not only sets but also roses were placed, so it was good to be able to choose only what you needed. The breakfast venue wasn't that big and we were able to sit down immediately, but some people were waiting depending on the timing. It is convenient because you can also eat in your room.

Had a two night stay in this hotel in December 2022. The hotel was easy to find just next to the main Sapporo station, not too far from the Diamaru department store. The receptionists were friendly and helpful. Check in was done efficiently. The room wasn’t very big, but a bit bigger than other Japanese inner city hotels I have visited. It was a cold cold day in Sapporo, and the hotel room was v warm- which was great! There was a free breakfast included, which mostly consisted of bread, eggs, yoghurt, cereals, various juices, and tea/ coffee. It was more than adequate and the environment was nice and clean. I enjoyed my stay there and would recommend it to others too.

It was my second stay, but the room is different, but there is a massage chair, and the room is 12 minutes wide for single stay. The cleanliness of the room is normal. Because it is a clean person, it may be a beautiful person. I borrowed steam iron, but the front desk was saved by bringing it to the room because the hand was blocked. I was happy with hospitality. Breakfast can be selected from Japanese and Western food. It is simple, but it was very grateful that it was free. There is a Family Mart near the hotel and it is very convenient. I would like to use it again when staying around Sapporo Station.

We arrived late at night, the counter staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. One of them could speak English quite well so we were able to converse without much issues.
The room was big compared to rooms in Tokyo and could accomodate 3 adults and 1 kid with no issue. We also have space to open 2 check in luggage on the floor.
There was a bath tub available and a round table with 2 chairs as well a long working table with 1 chair.
I would recommend this hotel and it's not a far walk to JR Sapporo Station, there are convenience stores nearby and a restaurant within the hotel where we had breakfast.
The breakfast was good as well.

Former 々 I stayed for 2 nights with a high-rated review. The staff was very friendly, the facilities were substantial, the cleanliness, the breakfast buffet and the word of mouth were wonderful. I think it's a quality that's not surprising even if it's double the price. If I dared to be worried about only one point, there were group guests who seemed to be salaried men and students of sports club activities, but they talked loudly in the bathroom or sauna, and after the sauna, they didn't even hang water. I'm in the cold bath I saw several insane people, such as making noise in the hallway. I think this is not a hotel problem, but a customer problem, but on the assumption that some people are such insane, they should be warned especially to group guests at check-in. I hope you will write an easy-to-understand note in the bathroom. I will use it when I go to Sapporo again. Thank you very much.

何度か宿泊している宿ではあるので使い勝手はわかっていた。
ホテルとはなっていますが、ホテルが運営している民泊なのでキッチンがついているので
以前は別のところで手続きをとっていたのが現地で行えるのは便利になった。
ただ室内用のスリッパが無くなっていた事、ブラシ(くし)もなくなっていた事は残念。
またエアコンの内部のホコリとキッチンの換気扇の汚れが気になった。
また他の方の口コミに書いていて気になったのはすすきのまで冬で20分かかるとありましたが…
ここもすすきのの一部と言える場所です。
すすきの駅へは夏冬変わらず徒歩10分くらいで着きます。
地下鉄で近いのは、中島公園駅。5分くらいで着きます。

GGuest UserA++++ Ryokan. Our entire experience was amazing. The staff was so courteous and helpful. The level of service was top notch. Check in - they sat us down in the lobby, provided slippers, drinks, snacks, while reviewing the amenities of the hotel. Onsen - public onsen was super clean, nice hot mineral water, cold bath, great showers and top notch products - lotion, creams, soaps, towels, etc. In Room Onsen - filled fast, luxurious, room for two. Nice and private for a couple. Food - had breakfast and dinner. Amazing. Dinner was about $100 USD per person. plated exquisitely. Lounge - cocktails and whiskey (many are included in the stay). Bartender was super friendly. 10/10, will do it again.

Room was a lil tight for 3 pax, the extra bed was a foldable one, so take note that it should be the lightest of your group to sleep on it haha 👀
Got to try their breakfast this time round and I must say it’s 3.5/5 , just because it the price you paid for, nothing super delicious but it begins early enough to get your stomach warm to start the day for your adventure!
Highly recommend for travelers needing a place to stay and sleep without too much amenities/ space 👍🏻

77samuraiWe visited Sapporo for the snow festival in Feb 2020. We selected the Leopalace based on location/price and reviews. On arrival, due to the weather and late night we decided to take a taxi to the hotel, this cost about Y1000. (after our stay it was fine weather, so we walked back to the JR station which took about 15 minutes). NB - neither my wife or myself speak Japanese, just a few phrases. Check in at the hotel was easy and straight forward, and we were directed to lifts behind reception. Our room was clean and spacious by Japanese standards. We chose not to book breakfasts, we were there for the snow festival so there was a huge variety of fresh market style food available. The hotel was a very short walk from the main avenue where the festival is held. There is 7/11 located on the corner of the hotel and also a long shopping arcade a couple of minutes walkaway. We wanted to use the hotels spa facility which is shown to be on floor 9. we put on the robes provided but having taken the lift up to floor 9 we found only bedrooms. so we called reception and mistakenly asked for direction to the onsen (we should have said public bath) because we asked for the wrong thing we were told the hotel does not have an onsen and then they hung up the phone. So I changed in to regular clothes went to reception and eventually worked out that the only way to the spa was via another lift in reception. Because we had to walk through reception we elected to wear regular clothes which was fortunate because eonce we found the spa area there were large signs telling you in English) not to wear your robes in reception, of course by the time you read that in the spa you would have already walked through reception. I don't mind if there is little English signage but if you take the time to have English translations put them where they can be of use - IN THE ROOMS. (oh and you need to take the towels from your room to use in the spa too) . We found the room temperature very comfortable and both slept well during our stay. We asked the reception to make a dinner reservation for us at a popular restaurant for our second night, this took a little while as initially they assumed we wanted to book into the hotel resturant, but once we passed this confusion they reception were very helpful. Making sure we had our booking reference and even showing us on a map where it was (even though we already knew this). Other than the phone call about the onsen/bath we found the reception staff very friendly and willing to help.

GGuest UserI love love love this hotel! The location is amazing, and the directions to the hotel is really easy to follow from the Sapporo Station. There are quite a few convenience stores nearby like Lawson, 7-11 and Seicomart, so it’s really convenient when you want to get something at night.
Though I did not use their amenities, it seemed to be super clean and new too. They have a smoking room on the first floor but I rarely smell any smoke when I am waiting for the lift except for one day when there were exceptionally lots of smokers, so the lifts were filled with the smell.
The room size is sufficient for me, since I’m travelling solo. I had enough space to open my luggage and enough hangers to hang my clothes. However, if you’re travelling as a couple or more, it probably wouldn’t be enough. The room is really clean and you can opt for room cleaning every day, and they would replenish all of the toiletries, water and green tea/coffee sachets. You can decide whether to change your bedsheet all of that, by placing a card on the bed to request for new bedsheets.
The Tanukikoji Shopping Street is around 15-20mins walk from the hotel, may not be close for others but you can take the train from Sapporo :) for me, because I love walking, it was a pretty okay distance for me to walk. There are also some tourists attractions that are within walking distance such as the JR Tower, Sapporo Clock Tower, Sapporo TV Tower, Hokkaido University, etc.
The only con I could find is that the staffs don’t really speak in English. So I had to use the translation app to ask them questions.
Overall, I would want to stay there again when I’m travelling to Sapporo. It’s close to the central station so it’ll be easier for me to do day trips out of Sapporo.

HHuihui®The hotel is in a great location, near the center of Sapporo, close to many attractions. There are various convenience stores downstairs within a two or three minute walk, which is very convenient for shopping. The hotel environment is great, the layout is also OK, and it is mainly very clean. The only thing to note is that the hotel breakfast costs 4,000 yen if you are not a Marriott member, and only Marriott members can enjoy the price of 2,500 yen.

GGuest UserOf this 5-day trip, it was only 1 night and 2 days, but I was able to experience it with color 々. １． First of all, regarding the time of booking, this time, Haneda-New Chitose － Sapporo-Use public transportation. When I asked for a shuttle bus reservation from Sapporo by phone, I said that the reservation was confirmed first, so I made a hotel reservation by airmail (arrived around 14:00) on the web, and when I called (bus: 14:00, 15:00, It was recognized that it departed at 16:00), but now it is full only at 14:00. Therefore, I am tired of the bus stop near the New Chitose-Sapporo-Makomanai-Hotel ３. First of all, I wanted a guide of ”full seat” only at 2 o'clock. ２． Check-in was smooth (travel discounts were not used), but the shuttle bus to Sapporo tomorrow morning was ”full and I couldn't wait for cancellation.” ３． The room (T / W on the 10th floor) was wider than I imagined (reservation of an inexpensive main building) and was easy to use, but the equipment, closet, bath / toilet, etc. were ”quite old” for a few minutes. However, the view is good in the river side room, There was no difference in use.
