The loft studio is really nice! Nice spacious table space that I can do my work at with decent views. Down side was that the shower heater was not working and had to get maintenance to come fix it which was a hassle.

The location is good, I think this hotel is mainly for travellers who just want to find a place to stay but mainly spends most of the time outdoors. My main complaint is the aircon, even after you turn off the aircon the wind is still flowing. The reception said the aircon is centralised, so I requested for extra thick blankets but even so it’s still very cold. I don’t mind the small room size, it comes with standard toothbrush/toothpaste, soap (assuming 2in one), hairdryer.

This is my 3rd stay in Galaxy Pods @ Chinatown and I am pleased to find the staff as welcoming and as friendly as before. I appreciate their good and prompt service with a smile 😃 The complimentary water (cooler) and complimentary coffee and tea along with the free use of Bath towel shows that the Hotel cares for their guests. Solo traveler, spent 4 nights there. Hostel is kinda meh in itself, and has two big flaws. Location is definitely really good, basically in the very center of Singapore, metro and bus stops are nearby. But it's kinda the only good thing. Ah yes, apart from quite detailed city guides on the wall near the reception. - The mattresses are really stiff and thin, I mean it - really stiff! Just uncomfortable to sleep on them, had quite a bad nights there. - There is no proper kitchen, you can microwave something and that's it, can't cook, see the pictures. Also common area is very poorly done, looks like a cheap canteen or something. You can't comfortably socialize there... - Important - here is a night club/bar right near/under the hostel. Entrance to it is literally 2 meters from hostel's entrance. And music is really heard even until 2 am! All the basses, drums - you just hear it, not that loud that you can't sleep, but I was on 4th floor, but if you are on 2nd or 3rd?... Probably would need earplugs lol. - And the BIG DEAL - LOCKERS ARE BASICALLY NOT WORKING AND UNSAFE. See the pictures and you'l understand. They are there, BUT - they made so sloppily that even after you lock the door with a key - you just press *a little bit* on the door from the top - and it opens even while locked, just because the lock's metal thing is just too short and door is too weakly set. So basically I'm sure that everyone can open every locker if they want. Receptionist said sorry for that, but that's it. Not good at all, first hostel I've been with such poor locker execution.

Great location, the hotel is quite new few months since been launched, Free filtered water but would be better to have a bottle to put the water in the fridge or ice machine in common area (The weather was extremely hot and humid) Room was clean but a little under standard for Accor, subtle details like stains on tables need improvement. Breakfast is very simple , average but can’t compared to Thailand or Japan but understandable small bathroom but OK for average Asian size… overall acceptable and recommended. I got bidet installed right after checking in :-)

Hotel's location was okay.. I wish they had a pool. Room was clean but not the bathroom. Bathroom blinds doesn't work and there were flies everywhere. Check-in was a little slow but otherwise, the staff were helpful and nice. Our room wasn't the same as the picture shown as it was already taken, we were disappointed. However, they changed our room next to the one in the pictures which wasn't so bad. Breakfast was disappointingly sad. 2 slice of toast and 1 sunny side up egg, you can't choose other style. Coffe taste like sewage. But head out to ABC restaurant for prata & teh tarik. 😉

We arrived at 2 pm and they allowed us to early check in. The location quiet close to Bendemeer MRT station (10min walk), and bus station. The room is clean, but very very very small, for 2 person, we hardly find a space to do prayer. There was a curtain but actually its just a wall behind and no window.

Good hotel but room will be a bit smaller than you think. They only give body towels (no facial or hand towel) and do not have “do not disturb” sign

Stayed here many times and always came back here when I come to Singapore. Room is small, but since I’m staying alone, it’s perfectly fine and just the right size for me. Location is not the center of Singapore, but it’s right above the MRT stations. So many food stalls right beside the hotel. Only one stop to bugis, and only 5 stops to Orchard (with transfer at City Hall). I prefer this hotel than any hotels near city but far from MRT station. It’s clean. The staffs are helpful and friendly enough. Always my choice to stay when I visit Singapore.

Was staying one night for business trip with my colleagues. The room is super clean, like a brand new hotel with affordable price. The pressure of the shower is great. The location is just 4 mins away walk from the nearest bus station and very easy to reach anywhere. The staffs were friendly and helpful even let us to have late check out. Definitely will stay here again when come to singapore.
