"We stayed for 3 nights! The location is great! Super close to the Queen market and stations.
We enjoy the SPA and swimming pool, the room is nice and clean.
The kitchen facilities was not very enough! The cooking stuffs was very small. It was not enough to cook food for 4 ppl, and no oven equipped.
One point made me very disappointed to the hotel. We left the room at 10:40am, and expected a cleaning service after we left. When we return after 3pm. The room was not cleaned, no bath towel, no replace of shampoo and shower gel, and the rubbish bin was totally full after 2 nights stay. I got a card at the door said we put a ”Do not disturb” sign (we didnt put) , and the staff wrote at 1:40pm.
I went to the reception and bring the supplements myself. The receptionist said will investigate the situation, and it was no any follow-up and reply to me.
This was the 1st time I have ever met, and it was a very bad ending in the au journey."

"The hotel is clean and very busy during the morning time. Dont say about the reception area because it just too crowded. The fact that they provide luggage storage before check in also very helpful for us. The only cons is the hotel is too busy and full with people, there were people open/close the door non stop for 10minutes with loud voices in front of our room around 5pm."

"Great stay experience! The room has a refrigerator and microwave, which is very convenient. The water pressure in the bathroom is very high, the bath is very comfortable, and the water is very fast. The room was quiet and slept well at night. The room was still acceptable. Every day, there were staff to take out the garbage, but we stayed for four days and didn't change the sheets. Overall, the price is very high, there is free parking outside the door 👍🏻"

AAnonymous UserThe Savoy Hotel was a jewel find after much searching for a convenient accommodation near the Southern Cross Station. It was just across the road!
The staff were friendly and efficient. The room was spacious and clean. We had to request for slippers as some amenities are provided on request.

TTacit-heExceeded my expectations! The service attitude, room facilities, and even the free shuttle bus to the airport were all fantastic! If you're looking for a hotel near Melbourne Airport, I highly recommend staying at Mantra. (The rooms were also newer and bigger than I imagined, which was a pleasant surprise! The front desk staff were super friendly too – so much better than the Mantra at Sydney Airport 🙇)

GGuest UserAlways a fantastic stay here. Great location if you can get the right room. 2 and 3 Bedrooms have corner views so if you can pay a little more its well worth the corner bed.
Sky apartments are exceptional. Don't recomend if your not good with heights! So good when you get a great sunset.
Could have been a bit cleaner and would recomend they do a good spring clean once in a while. Thanks to the freindly staff! didnt have a issue and satisfied every one of my requests.

The hotel's location was very convenient for transport, and the unique breakfast was a definite highlight. However, despite requesting a high-floor, street-view room away from the elevators, we were assigned a room right by the elevators with only a limited street view, which somewhat diminished the five-star experience. There was no in-room washing machine, and we had to send out laundry at an extra cost, which was quite inconvenient. I only booked this hotel because I wanted to experience a five-star property; however, despite its five-star rating, it just felt like something was missing.

JJason369369I recently stayed at Novotel Melbourne on Collins, and overall it was a great experience. The location is unbeatable — right in the heart of the city, with easy access to shops, cafes, and public transport.
The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable, with large windows overlooking Collins Street. The bed was very cozy and ensured a good night’s sleep. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially at check-in — they made everything smooth and welcoming.
Breakfast had a good variety of options, and the dining area was bright and pleasant. The gym and facilities were well-maintained, though the pool was a bit small.
Overall, it’s an excellent choice for both business and leisure stays. The combination of great location, comfort, and professional service makes it one of the best value stays in Melbourne CBD.

GGuest UserI stayed at house 13 on March 10 2025, and there a gang of black people having a party over the night at house 12. I don't want to discrimate people and I used the word ”black” merely to describe that group of people that night. The music is very loud, and from time to time there are heavy drum beats which you can feel the vibration from the floor, and sometimes they knocked the wall of the townhouse separating house 13 / 12, and I supposed no one can sleep under this situation. Both my wife and me could not sleep but scared because they are young & strong black males. Finally we turned on the light at 2 a.m. and open the curtain to tell them to quiet from our 1/F balcony when 3 of them were arguing with a woman loudly in the common backyard. They ignored and continued!
At 5 p.m. it's raining but I could not tolerate anymore, I went out to tell them silence please! A big tall black guy (not brown, very black) said ” I got you!”.
Frankly speaking, I was a little bit scare., but what elase I could do?!
When the reception open next day (house 1?), I complained and requested a change of room (actually house). The reception ladies are very friendly and they said they had reported the police twice that night for the noise is too loud & affecting many customers staying at different houses that night. But they do the same regardless the police warning. According to the reception, she had blacklisted this customer from booking the Quest hotel chain nationalwide (Australia) anymore. When I returned to the hotel the other day, I got a thank you card apologize for what had happened together with a bottle of wine for the inconvenience caused.
Although I had a nightmare in this hotel, I think it is a one-off incident, and I will still recomend this service apartment.

When you stay here, you can't help but spend time exploring, as both the exterior and interior decor are magnificent, and the room facilities are top-notch. It's definitely worth a stay.

The hotel is situated in a very quiet area, perfect for a peaceful getaway. Nights were serene with barely any car noise. It’s about a 10-minute drive to a nearby mall with Coles, Kmart, and other essentials—super convenient. For travelers, it’s around 40 minutes from the airport, which is manageable.
Cleanliness:
This was a mixed bag. Upon entering, we noticed a burnt iron mark and several purple stains on the carpet. We made sure to report these to reception immediately due to the $300 AUD bond fee, to avoid being held responsible.
Being close to a lake or river meant encountering mosquitoes and some large flies. We also found spiders in the bathroom, but we managed to catch and release them outdoors. Towels provided were an issue—one was dirty when we checked in, and even the replacement towel the next day had stains. However, the beds were spotless, which was a relief.
Service:
The front desk staff were excellent—friendly, thorough, and accommodating. They explained all the amenities, including the location of the gym and pool, and handled our late checkout request graciously.
Facilities:
Although I didn’t personally use the gym or pool, the in-room facilities stood out. The smart TV was a bonus, with access to YouTube, Disney+, and Prime Video, ensuring entertainment for the family.
Room:
The two-bedroom apartment was incredibly spacious, with two bedrooms flanking a central living room. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, complete with an exhaust fan to keep the heat out. The beds were the highlight—so soft and comfortable, providing an excellent night’s sleep.
Overall:
While the initial issues with bugs were unpleasant (I dislike insects), once we cleared them out, the stay became very enjoyable. The spacious layout, serene environment, and cozy beds made it a pleasant experience overall.
