Yehs Hotel Melbourne CBD ★★★★
"This is the second stay at this hotel, where the room is just the right size for two people, clean, fully equipped with electrical appliances, including a portable heating system. The room I got this time had a city view, quiet, no noise disturbance. I was impressed with the service from the staff and the luggage storage service both before and after check-in."

Crown Towers Melbourne ★★★★★
"The location is pretty central. It's about a 1km walk from Southern Cross Station (SkyBus terminal), which is a bit of a distance but acceptable. The surrounding area is nice, mostly locals, with many restaurants along both sides of the river. The room facilities are a bit old, but the space is very generous. The pool is a definite plus, and it wasn't crowded. The twin room was indeed spacious and even had a walk-in closet, though cooking isn't allowed."

Hotel Grand Chancellor Melbourne ★★★★
"The location is superb. 4 mins walk to the nearest tram station. An alley away from Chinatown. Lots of food options / cafes options nearby. The hotel is pretty old but recently renovated. No free water bottles but has free refill stations at lobby; can pay 4bucks to have a refillable jug if you don’t have your own bottle with you. The heater in the room only can crank up to 24 degrees unfortunately. Doesn’t help with the Melbourne cold winter weather. But overall is a lovely hotel with its perks! Will consider this place again! Thank you!"

Atlantis Hotel Melbourne ★★★★
"I booked this hotel because it was advertised as a 4-star, but honestly, it's nowhere near that. It's more like a basic guesthouse from back in the day. Hardware: It's pretty bad. The lighting is dim, and there's a mirror directly facing the bed. The air conditioning is incredibly, incredibly, incredibly loud! It sounds like a tractor, no exaggeration! You absolutely cannot sleep with it on! The bathroom shower only has a half-fixed door. And you can clearly hear the sound of water running through the pipes from the floor above! It's just awful, awful, awful. Other: Most hotels usually have an emergency exit plan on the back of the door, but this one doesn't. There's only a regular door lock, no interior deadbolt or chain. Also, the elevator doesn't require a key card, so anyone can come up."
