The hotel's location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk from Kunming Railway Station. There's a ride-hailing pickup/drop-off point just 20 meters away, making it very convenient for taxis. The room's decor and facilities are very new, with no unpleasant odors, and the soundproofing is quite good. The bed was dry and not damp, and the daily consumables were well-stocked. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and arranged a relatively quiet room for me, plus they provided complimentary fruit every day. The best part was how incredibly clean the room was.

I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Kunming 👍👍👍 Hygiene: The bed in the room was very comfortable, clean, and hygienic. Facilities: (1) Room: I really liked the powerful hairdryer provided in the room; it dried my hair quickly! The vanity was also spacious, with plenty of room for my friend and me to put our cosmetics and do our makeup side-by-side! (2) Laundry Room: Although small, it was clean and tidy. It had one washing machine and one dryer (Haier brand), and even laundry baskets for temporary storage of washed clothes. Service: The front desk service was excellent. Although there wasn't a phone in the room, the front desk was very quick to respond and fulfill requests sent via WeChat (I, as someone who dislikes phone calls, appreciated this). Environment: The lounge area next to the front desk was also very cozy and comfortable. The tea they brewed was delicious, and they offered a different kind every day. I made sure to grab a few cups every time I passed by, haha.

This hotel is excellent! I originally came to Panlong for business and just randomly booked a hotel since I knew I'd be switching. To my surprise, I found it so comfortable after checking in that I decided to extend my stay – and ended up staying for four nights! A special thanks to the lovely front desk lady with the round face. On the first night, my family of three stayed in a king-size room, and she gave us a room with a three-meter-wide bed. The next day, I mentioned the room felt a bit small, and she graciously upgraded us to a twin room, really accommodating my needs. Her service was top-notch! The hotel is clean, hygienic, and all the facilities are complete, new, and in great condition. The bed was comfortable, and the price was fantastic – very budget-friendly! Next time I'm in Kunming, I'll definitely consider this hotel first. There's parking available, and it's easy to catch a taxi. Plus, the Ruiding City Shopping Center is just next door, which is incredibly convenient! Highly recommend! This is genuinely the first time I've written such a long review just because of a hotel stay! I didn't take any photos, but it looks exactly like the pictures!!

Traveling with friends to relax at Dianchi Lake, choosing the right guesthouse absolutely doubled our vacation happiness! The location is perfect for anyone visiting Dianchi, making it super easy to go see the seagulls whenever we wanted, saving us a lot of hassle. The room was clean and refreshing, tastefully decorated, and the sunlight streaming in made it feel so bright and airy. Sitting on the balcony at night, enjoying the breeze and a cup of tea, just melted away all the fatigue from work. The bedding was so soft and comfortable, I slept like a baby, and the bathroom experience was top-notch. The host was incredibly attentive from check-in to check-out. This five-star review is truly well-deserved!

The location is fantastic, right in the city center, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and dining. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bed was tidy. The biggest surprise was the amazing atmosphere in the common areas, with a terrace, bar, and restaurant – perfect for chatting with travelers from all over the world in the evening. The staff were super friendly and patiently helped resolve any issues. It's highly recommended for backpackers, solo travelers, and small study groups. Great value for money, I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Kunming!

My friend highly recommended this place, saying the area is fantastic and super convenient, and the shuttle service was a huge plus. The shuttle service to/from the South High-Speed Rail Station was excellent. Overall, the service was truly impeccable, and there are plenty of great dining options nearby. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip.

The hotel is newly renovated, the room is very comfortable, there is a snack street downstairs, it is convenient, the hotel service is very good, and it is also very close to the high-speed rail. Relatively speaking, it is comfortable to stay and the experience is good. You can choose this hotel if you are transiting nearby!

Really pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is very convenient, easy to find and close to many attractions, which made getting around simple and hassle-free. Everything was exactly as advertised, from the room condition to the facilities provided. Overall, a smooth and satisfying experience, and if ever I am to return to Shangril-la, I would definitely consider staying here again.

Despite the convenient location, comfortable beds, and all-important quiet sleep we managed to get, the hotel's communication to arrange our pick up from the train station at night and what turned out to be a self-check-in was just dismal, clearly needing more training to ensure better organisation for future guests. The following constructive advice is to help the hotel improve and for (particularly foreign) guests to note: 1. Ask for guests' phone number and inform the driver well in advance of our arrival, instead of waiting till the very last minute to do so. We reached out to the hotel via WeChat the day before and rightfully received detailed instructions (in Chinese) to find the driver (the pick up service is actually outsourced to a separate company using 3 different vans), but once we found the van, the driver angrily insisted we call the hotel to identify us by confirming our phone number - we were not allowed to board without the hotel's confirmation, which should have been done directly with the driver well in advance of our arrival. 2. This hotel is not manned after hours, let alone 24 hours, so please make it known well beforehand that we will have to check in ourselves if arriving after hours, and provide clear instructions on how to do so instead of communicating them through the phone while guiding us using the security cameras. It is not the guests' responsibility to do your administrative work (to report ourselves to the authorities by scanning the police QR code and filling out our details) at 11 o'clock at night when we have an early morning train to catch the following day. The hotel should allow guests to enter the room as soon as possible upon arrival, not have us wait half an hour while they struggle with what was clearly their first time checking in foreign guests - worse still over the phone - insisting that this be done before we could enter our room. 3. If the hotel truly wants the patronage of foreign guests, they will have to prioritise our convenience and comfort over theirs by actually having someone check us in in-person. Remotely doing so to save costs is as absurd as expecting foreign guests to communicate our details over the phone, sending photos of ourselves, our passport details etc. via WeChat, and then finding our room card and the room by talking to someone over the phone in Chinese. At the very least, these requirements and instructions should be clearly produced and communicated beforehand so that nothing is improvised. We hope the above experience helps improve what is a decent hotel providing good value for money.

Great location close to many amenities !! No issue with WiFi working greatly, been watching films every night !!! Great stuff, very friendly and helpful , stayed for few weeks, never had any issues !! Walking distance to various shopping malls and night markets !! Fruit market and vegetable markets very close by !!! Very convenient transport links, buses, tube taxis, rent electric bikes/scooters, etc…! About 10 minutes, walk to the great gym with a swimming pool !!! Many Great Dental Hospitals, fixed my teeth while staying, managed to install crowns !!! Also, if have time can have a good quality implants !! Very close to Kunming Zoo, other parks a temples…!
