GGuest UserFacilities: The hotel opened this year, so everything is super clean and the facilities are all brand new. We arrived in Kunming at night, and it's really close to Kunming Station, within walking distance, which was very convenient.
Ambiance: The environment is also excellent. We checked in around midnight, and the kids were too tired, so I didn't get a chance to take photos. But as soon as we walked in, it felt so beautiful, like stepping into a cafe 🥰.
Service: The service was absolutely top-notch. The ladies helped us with our luggage, gave little gifts to the kids, and even showed us to our room. So thoughtful ❤️.
(It's a shame I only took this one photo...)

GGuest UserWe booked a family room and the layout was exactly as shown online. The kids loved it, especially the LEGOs for younger children. There's a dedicated WeChat concierge who's always available, offering very thoughtful service. They even provide afternoon tea and late-night snacks. Breakfast is a set menu, and the concierge reminds you the day before to choose your preference – the portions are very generous. The hotel's location is excellent; right across the street is a huge, newly opened Mixue ice cream shop.

GGuest UserI came to Kunming for a relaxing getaway and specifically chose the Dianyu Yunjing, a hotel focused on wellness, and my stay far exceeded expectations – it's truly a hidden gem of a resort by Dianchi Lake. The hotel is right next to Daguan Park, offering a tranquil escape amidst the bustling city. The new Chinese-style courtyard is surrounded by lush greenery, exuding a strong Zen ambiance, with photo opportunities everywhere. The room cleanliness was impeccable; every corner was spotless. The smart home system was convenient and easy to use. The zero-pressure bedding combined with soothing aromatherapy and excellent soundproofing ensured a peaceful and restful sleep every night.
The most delightful surprise was the exclusive wellness programs. The complimentary singing bowl meditation was incredibly soothing, with the ethereal sounds melting away all travel anxieties. The morning garden yoga also left me feeling relaxed and stretched. My reservation included free afternoon tea, featuring Dian-style tea paired with delicate pastries – sitting in the courtyard enjoying tea was incredibly pleasant. The front desk staff were gentle and patient, handling check-in efficiently and proactively sharing recommendations for local attractions. They were quick to respond to any request, and their service was perfectly balanced.
The hotel amenities are comprehensive, including a heated swimming pool and a self-service laundry room. The breakfast spread was extensive, catering to both northern and southern tastes. For the same price point, the ambiance, service, and unique experiences were all top-notch, providing a truly healing stay. These few days allowed me to completely shed my fatigue. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Kunming and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating vacation.

AAilifenteThis hotel was a stopover for my return flight from Kunming the next day. I originally planned to book a different hotel, but I saw the good reviews and decided to go with this one for its value for money. It was indeed a good choice. It's newly renovated, and the facilities are very new, not inferior to other hotels. It's quite noisy near the airport at night, and the neighbors were also loud, but they provided earplugs, which was great. For breakfast, there were four stir-fried dishes. The dining area was small and very cramped. Lower-priced hotels tend to attract guests who hog seats and grab food... Finally, this was the only hotel that didn't call me before check-in, and I thought that was that. But after checking out, they called me for a good review... The environment is decent, but the service doesn't quite measure up and can't compare to other hotels.

NNingmengWe chose this hotel because it was relatively close to the event location we were attending with our child. The shuttle service was excellent; they greeted us with snacks and lollipops for the little one, and the eye mask they provided was quite useful – our child was very happy! Plus, the subway station is right at the entrance, making it super convenient for getting around!

GGuest UserDue to frequent business trips to and from Kunming Station, this Hampton by Hilton is a perfect balance of value and quality. The lobby has a temporary co-working space with fast and stable Wi-Fi, making email and video calls a breeze. The in-room desk is spacious, the lighting is eye-friendly, and the power outlets are conveniently placed, which is great for remote work. The laundry room comes with a dryer, solving the problem of washing and drying clothes while traveling. Breakfast starts at 6:30 AM, accommodating early high-speed train departures and morning meetings. The check-out and invoicing process is smooth, and Sunny at the front desk always remembers my preferences. This feeling of being valued makes business trips much less tiring. Business travelers can book with confidence.
ZZhangqi19800506The hotel's location is super convenient, really close to Cuihu Lake and the Military Academy – just a short taxi ride away. Plus, there are plenty of restaurants right downstairs, which is great for meals. I asked for a quiet room at check-in and they put me above the car park, so it was nice and quiet at night. I also thought the breakfast was excellent, with local Yunnan specialties like rice noodles and flower cakes.

MM557041****I absolutely loved this hotel in every aspect. The service was attentive and meticulous, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was incredibly rich and varied. Plus, they even extend breakfast until 1:30 PM, which is a huge bonus! The value for money is exceptional, and the location is very convenient for transportation. I highly recommend it and will definitely choose this hotel again for my next business trip.

GGuest UserThe greenery at this hotel is absolutely stunning! The two large green trees right at the entrance are incredibly eye-catching, and the entire courtyard is enveloped in lush plants. The common areas extensively use wood finishes and red brick, and there's a super comfortable lobby bar on the first floor perfect for relaxing – you could sit there and just zone out without feeling like you're wasting time. My favorite part was the light and shadow cast by the sun filtering through the floor-to-ceiling glass and greenery in the lobby; enjoying a complimentary coffee there was pure bliss. The room was clean, the bedding was comfortable, and with a shopping district right downstairs, both transportation and dining options were super convenient.

GGuest UserHad an early flight the next morning, so I chose the Mercure at the airport and was very pleased. The room was clean, tidy, comfortable, and cozy. I really liked the French romantic decor, and it was great value for money. My only suggestion would be for the shower pressure to be a bit stronger. Overall, a great impression of Kunming!
