GGuest UserThe room was spacious and very clean, and the mattress was so comfortable I slept really well. The hotel staff were excellent and very welcoming; they even gave me a toiletries gift set when I checked out. The hotel also offers breakfast, as shown in the pictures below.

GGuest UserA very satisfying hotel experience, mainly for these reasons:
Location: The location is excellent, just a five to six-minute walk to Daguan Park, and close to the Dianchi Wetland area, making it very convenient for sightseeing! Parking is also readily available right in front of the hotel.
Facilities and Service: The room was clean, and the facilities were complete and well-maintained, with good soundproofing. The service was fantastic, and all the staff were very polite! The hotel breakfast was good, especially the rice noodles – delicious! Plus, breakfast hours were quite generous.
Surroundings: The view from the window was pleasant, with the Western Hills in the distance and Dianchi Lake nearby!
Summary: Overall, I was very satisfied. It was a great stay and travel experience! If you're looking to visit Dianchi Lake and its surroundings, this hotel is, all things considered, an excellent choice!

WWeibusiOn this business trip to Kunming, I chose the Hilton Garden Inn. As always, the facilities and service were excellent. There's a large ground-level parking lot behind the hotel, which is very convenient. The hotel also has a complimentary beverage area on the first floor for guests. I booked a king-sized room this time, and to my surprise, it was actually a suite with a small living room and a desk outside, and the bedroom inside. I stayed here for 5 days, and it felt very cozy overall. I'll definitely consider Hilton Garden Inn first when I travel to other cities in the future, haha~

We also received complimentary welcome fruit, and there's an airport shuttle service. Plus, there's a great local market nearby with lots of delicious food. I'll definitely book this place again next time I'm at Kunming Airport.

GGuest UserThe room was clean, tidy, and quiet, making for a very comfortable stay. The service attitude was impeccable – absolutely fantastic! They thoughtfully prepared cutlery and a high chair for our child, making it perfect for family travel. Every time we saw a staff member, they would smile and greet us, actively offering assistance. Upon checkout, they even gave us black tea as a souvenir and two roly-poly toys. It was a superb stay! (I forgot to take photos of the hotel, but it's super close to Jinma Fang, which is very convenient for shopping and dining. Highly recommend it!)

善善琳995 stars! wonderful stay at Hampton by Hilton Kunming. So good that we are already planning to return in a couple of weeks after our Yunnan road trip.
Overall, the service team was excellent—professional, warm, and consistently helpful. Everyone we interacted with was great; the few names mentioned below simply reflect the staff we had the most contact with.
A special thank you to Eric, who went above and beyond to assist us with receiving and organizing our items throughout our stay. He was attentive, professional, reliable, and a real pleasure to deal with. He took great care in helping us manage multiple deliveries, ensuring everything was properly received, safely stored, and ready for us whenever we needed it—even coordinating around our absence. His kindness, willingness to help, and attention to detail truly stood out.
Manager Isabella was also outstanding—proactive, efficient, and incredibly gentle. She coordinated our orders seamlessly and even arranged for staff to collect our parcels from the storage area, which made everything effortless for us.
There was also another lovely receptionist (I believe her name may be Audrey—apologies if that’s incorrect) who was friendly and professional throughout.
The housekeeping team deserves special mention as well. One of the housekeepers we saw daily was truly delightful—always smiling, kind, and very helpful. She added a warm, personal touch to our stay.
Communication was smooth and easy, which made everything very convenient.
Breakfast was of high quality, nutritious, and offered a good variety. The room was spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained. Well it’s the Hampton! The Kashgar property was our first experience with the Hampton chain and is equally deserving of high praise)

So overall, a very enjoyable stay with excellent value. Highly recommended, and we look forward to returning soon.

GGuest UserI chose the airport transfer service, which was very convenient and saved a lot of effort. After arriving at Kunming Airport, I waited at the sign by Gate 8 on the B1 departure level. Shuttles depart at 15 and 45 minutes past the hour, and it takes about 10 minutes to reach the hotel. When checking in, I informed them of my flight time for the next day, and the front desk noted it down for the shuttle to the airport.
The room was a comfort type, and it was quite comfortable for a one-night stay. The minibar had a good variety of tea bags, coffee, and other items. However, the faucet for adjusting water temperature in the bathroom wasn't very user-friendly; the water was either too cold or too hot, and I couldn't get it to the ideal temperature. The toilet had an automatic flush, but it was a bit delayed, always flushing unexpectedly.
The biggest pleasant surprise was their breakfast. It started serving at 5:30 AM, which is very convenient for passengers with early flights. The variety was excellent for a hotel of this price.
Next time I have an early flight, I'll definitely stay here again!

They even have robots that can deliver takeout, which is pretty smart. GGuest UserThe owner upgraded me to a loft king room. The room was very rustic and had a unique Yunnan charm. Breakfast included rice noodles, soy milk, and various grains. The owner even came downstairs to pick me up. The location is about 790 meters from the old town, making it very convenient for sightseeing and getting around. The conditioner was also really good!
