MMunanxiziA wonderful hideaway for a hot spring getaway. The private courtyard comes with its own hot tub, or you can switch things up and use the public pools. In the evenings, you can catch a stunning sunset, and the Ancient Dian Kingdom Museum is right across the way. The villa's amenities are top-notch, and it's very clean, even including a private sauna. There weren't any bugs this season, which made it a super comfortable and relaxing spot for a few friends to unwind. The breakfast and dinner at the mountaintop restaurant are both excellent, and they do Western dishes really well too!
ZZuibangdedakeerOur trip was absolutely perfect this time! ✨ Before we even arrived, our butler, Clove, thoughtfully called ahead to ask about our preferences and even added us on WeChat to coordinate everything. Knowing we were traveling with a child and the whole family, she kindly upgraded our room for free and arranged for our family to have adjoining rooms, making our stay incredibly comfortable!
She also meticulously wrote out a super practical, personalized guide to local attractions and dining spots. She even thoughtfully reminded us about the changeable weather, suggesting we bring umbrellas and light jackets, truly thinking of every detail. The room was already prepared and set up before we checked in, making the entire process seamless and worry-free. Her service was gentle, meticulous, professional, and incredibly attentive. She was warm and thorough with everyone, creating such a wonderful atmosphere. We felt so well taken care of throughout our stay, and it truly boosted our travel happiness. I highly recommend her and will definitely look for Clove again for our next stay!
GGuest UserHad a fantastic trip! The hotel has a great atmosphere. When we checked in, the front desk even provided slippers and toothbrushes for the kids. There's a self-service tea bar in the lobby with freshly ground coffee that's rich and aromatic, plus small private rooms where you can relax. The hotel also offers free parking, which is super convenient for those driving. On the second floor, there's a 24-hour self-service laundry room with dryers and garment steamers. The staff were all incredibly warm and attentive. Our room was clean and tidy, and the facilities were complete. The hotel breakfast was good – a buffet with both Western and Chinese options, including Yunnan's special 'small pot' rice noodles. The front desk even has a mini-fridge where they can chill your items, and you can store your luggage for free after check-out. Excellent value for money, highly recommend!

SSarah from ItalyThis was by far the BEST accommodation we stayed in China!! We booked two rooms because I'm travelling with my sister and her boyfriend.
Both rooms were extremely clean, the best comfortable beds ever, hot shower, air con, all the toiletries were good quality and the staff were amazing!!!!
They helped us out with everything!! Even though they don't speak English or any other language (like elsewhere in China), they were extremely helpful and we managed to communicate with the translator.
We stayed two nights but we would have loved to stay longer which was not possible because visa's expiring soon.
When we got there, they made us delicious noodles with beef and vegetables and my brother in law is still dreaming to get the same tasty noodles somewhere else in China 😊
We don't know the names of the hosts, maybe they are wife and husband (we are not sure) but surely this was the top accommodation and treatment we have received in China so we would like to thank you two again for everything you have done for us. We are sure your next guests will enjoy their stay at your place just the same as we did.
Thank you from Sarah, Myriam and Fabio.
AAnonymous UserThis stay completely exceeded my expectations! The decor is my favorite minimalist style, spotlessly clean, and the kitchen is perfect for simple cooking. The appliances are all good brands. The location is close to the attractions but not noisy. It was a perfect experience! The loft-style apartment is perfect for sharing with friends. The living room is perfect for chatting and playing cards, and the kitchen is fully equipped for hot pot. The location in the city center makes it convenient for going out for food in the evening.

Very Good
GGuest UserWe came to Luojiwan to buy goods. The hotel has been open for a few years and we have lived for a few years. The parking is convenient. It is next to the food street. The street is Luojiwan. The room is clean and tidy. The waiter is very good. It is recommended.
GGuest UserOn our first night, the hot water took ages to warm up. When we asked the front desk, they told us to turn on both the sink and shower taps and wait a while for it to get hot. By the third night, there was no hot water at all, and eventually, no water came out of the taps. When we inquired at the front desk, they just coldly said a pipe had burst and didn't give any estimate for when it would be fixed. They basically brushed us off, so we had to find another hotel that day just to shower. On top of that, there were spiders and large cockroaches in the room. I highly recommend looking for a different hotel.

Good
AAnonymous UserThis was my second time visiting Kunming, and also my second stay at Yajv. I have to give it a full 5 stars!
Yajv is right near Kunming Station. If you exit the North Plaza and walk straight to your right for about five minutes, you'll be there. It's located within a residential complex, a three-story building, with a supermarket downstairs and plenty of places to eat.
The rooms at Yajv are clean, cozy, and comfortable. The mattresses are very soft, and they clean the bedding after every guest. The rooms are spacious, with ample room beyond just the bed. Each bed has a privacy curtain, and everyone gets a locker for their belongings, which requires your room key to open – offering great privacy. Plus, no outside food is allowed in the rooms!
The bathrooms are communal and separate for men and women. The women's restroom has double doors and offers 24-hour hot water. The water pressure is fantastic! This is so important for us Guangxi people! Guangxi people have to shower every day!!
What I loved most were the communal space on the second floor and the large balcony on the third floor, both great places to relax. The second floor is non-smoking; you can watch people and cars go by outside the window, read a book, or even ask the owner for a cup of tea. He hasn't priced his tea yet, so just be a bit cheeky, it doesn't cost anything to ask.
In the living room on the second floor, there's a wall with a cloth or something hanging, covered in drawings. The owner and his friends designed and painted them themselves – they're totems. There are sun patterns, bronze drums, frogs… symbols representing the natural and animal worship of primitive tribes. Here, you might find yourself having many 'wild and imaginative' thoughts.
The rooftop on the third floor is very breezy and comfortable. In early summer, you can see the lush green trees growing freely. You might even find a dog zoning out with you, though it could also be that he's hidden a bone upstairs and is watching to see if anyone is going to dig it up – hard to tell what they're thinking.
Another enjoyable trip to Kunming, I'll be back next time!

GGuest UserLocation was good in that it was around a lot of shops and stores. Front desk people were helpful in answering any questions that I had. I felt like I didn't have much access to the kitchen in cooking my own stuff. Sometimes I was confused about whether it was okay to eat the food that the chef cooked or those meals were only for guest that paid for it. I appreciate the front desk people for loaning out their phone charger to me on a temporary basis when mine didn't work until I can get a new one.
LLidusGreat location, look for the yellow boards and you will find it easily. The room items are little bit used but all is all right and clean. I would not recommend to stay during cold nights - the room doesnt have AC. I was staying in room 207 and i heard all noise from stairs, even just walking and also people in room 206 were awake and screaming whole night so be aware of that.
