The room was clean, odor-free, the bathroom had good drainage, and the bed was comfortable. The front desk receptionist was very enthusiastic and upgraded the room. The location is not far from the subway station, and travel is very convenient.

Overall, the room was excellent. It's conveniently located on the second level of the airport, right above and below the departure and arrival halls, which is perfect for early morning or late night flights. The front desk lady was very welcoming and provided great service, even offering a welcome gift. The room itself was very quiet. The only minor downside was that the shower drain was a bit slow and somewhat clogged. I would definitely stay here again if I have a flight to catch.

It's about a 10-15 minute drive from the airport, and after contacting the front desk, a car came to pick me up. The hotel is very new, with a high-end decor. The double-pane soundproof windows make it incredibly quiet when closed. Little details like automatic curtains, an automatic toilet, a kettle, a hairdryer, and toiletries really add to the hotel's appeal. What I loved most was the bedding – no exaggeration, it truly felt like standard five-star quality. The pillows were made of memory foam and were just the right height. The central air conditioning provided both hot and cold air, and the shower pressure was excellent. There's also a huge 65-inch TV. If I wasn't just on a layover, I'd seriously want to stay a few more nights. Highly recommend!

The room was quite spacious, and the shower had excellent water pressure, which was fantastic. The staff were very attentive and responded quickly to our requests. Although the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, everything was delicious, and they even offered freshly made rice noodles. I'd highly recommend this hotel for anyone transiting through Kunming who wants to explore and enjoy local food.

Due to a layover, we chose this hotel because of its high rating and proximity to the airport. After landing at 10:30 PM, we contacted the hotel and a car was dispatched very quickly to pick us up. Check-in at the front desk was efficient, and we were taken to our individual villas by golf cart. The rooms were well-equipped, clean, and refreshing – exactly what you'd want for a comfortable stay. The airport noise was minimal. In the morning, you can enjoy a run around the beautiful American-style villa complex and have delicious rice noodles at the on-site restaurant. My friends and I were very satisfied with our stay and highly recommend it to anyone with a layover in Kunming.

The first time I visited Kunming in 2003, I stayed at the Jinhua International Hotel. I chose it for its excellent location, convenient transport options for non-drivers, and a wide variety of dining choices nearby. I've stayed here several times since, with my most recent visit being during the COVID-19 outbreak in春节 2020. This time, I noticed a significant improvement in room hygiene and the hardware facilities. Unfortunately, the service from some front desk staff was truly disappointing. They knew that room cards needed to be reset daily after 12 PM but failed to inform guests during check-in. This meant guests had to go up and down multiple times to get it sorted, which is particularly inconvenient since several floors of the building house other offices, requiring a wait for the elevator. During one such instance, I even experienced an elevator malfunction where it went up and down erratically with the doors slightly ajar. As for the TV, only one news channel is free; all others are pay-per-view.
