The room is very clean, bright and spacious. The facilities are very new, with electric curtains, automatic toilet, and very comfortable pillows, one soft and one hard. The hair conditioner received positive reviews from my sister-in-law, hahaha. There is a clothesline in the shower room, which is convenient. Convenient transportation, very close to the subway station. The service was very good. When checking in, we were given warm chrysanthemum water and hot towels to wipe off the dust from the journey. The breakfast is also good, with a wide variety of Chinese and Western restaurants. I am very satisfied with my stay, and my family members give it high praise. Recommended stay.

This is my top choice for early morning flights, as it's the only hotel located right in the terminal. You just go through Gate 4, take the elevator to the second floor, and you're there – very easy to find. The room was quite clean and comfortable. However, it was a bit awkward and the first time I've encountered a hotel where the lobby entrance to the hallway is mixed with other terminal staff work areas. I hope they can improve the corridor area.

This was my second stay here, and it's still great value for money. It's clean, tidy, and the service is attentive. Plus, they offer free airport pick-up and drop-off. Overall, I'm very satisfied and would recommend it to everyone. There's just one thing I hope they can improve: the smell of laundry detergent or disinfectant in the hallway is really strong and quite unpleasant.

STAFF APPRECIATION: I would like to thank Xiao Li and Xiao Zang, two incredibly sweet and helpful young women who accommodated me during my extremely late arrival (around 3-4am due to a delayed flight) and patiently answered all my questions no matter what time it was. They ensured I made it to and from the hotel safely. HOTEL REVIEW: The location is extremely convenient, right at the doorstep of the Ethnic Village. The room itself was gorgeous, a bit like stepping back in time. It was pristine and offered all the necessary toiletries. There was no coffee, but there was tea, and a coffee shop is conveniently located right next door. The only downside to my stay was that I went when they were doing construction and it went on until after 11pm. However, 1) this was mentioned when I booked the hotel, so I have only myself to blame. 2) I was offered a different, quieter room and the workers were asked repeatedly to move to another location or please try to be quieter. The staff did everything they could to accommodate me from booking to checkout. Should I return to the area, I would definitely consider this hotel, and I recommend adding it to your short-list of options while staying in Kunming.

Seriously, just pick this hotel. They offer a complimentary airport shuttle service, no matter how late your flight is. Plus, there's an on-site restaurant, which is super convenient, and they even allow outside food delivery. The front desk service and room cleanliness are, as always, top-notch. That's why I'm always so satisfied with my stay, and this time I even got to witness a beautiful sunset. When in Kunming, this is my go-to hotel.

The first time I visited Kunming in 2003, I stayed at the Jinhua International Hotel. I chose it for its excellent location, convenient transport options for non-drivers, and a wide variety of dining choices nearby. I've stayed here several times since, with my most recent visit being during the COVID-19 outbreak in春节 2020. This time, I noticed a significant improvement in room hygiene and the hardware facilities. Unfortunately, the service from some front desk staff was truly disappointing. They knew that room cards needed to be reset daily after 12 PM but failed to inform guests during check-in. This meant guests had to go up and down multiple times to get it sorted, which is particularly inconvenient since several floors of the building house other offices, requiring a wait for the elevator. During one such instance, I even experienced an elevator malfunction where it went up and down erratically with the doors slightly ajar. As for the TV, only one news channel is free; all others are pay-per-view.
