GGuest UserThe hotel location was great, and so close to the subway for easy transport into the city. When I made the reservation, it did not indicate that parking was an additional fee, just that there was parking. Not that parking was very much, but I don't recall seeing a fee posted on the booking website, and it was jusy unexpected. The room was sufficient- a tiny bit smaller than expected. And the room had a slight sour smell, not sure if it was mildew or just stuffy from the winter west weather, but we were only there one night, so we didn't fuss. The check-in staff spoke less english than expected, but was okay, as my Deutsch was just good enough we could meet in the middle. Breakfast was a good spread and the attendants were plenty.
GGuest UserOutstanding find. Excellent check in by Mr Mark. We received a 50% discount on the underground overnight parking. Room matches the description. Pleasant room. Great AC, fridge, toiletries etc. Wifi was great.
Fantastic location for local sightseeing. The river is right behind.
This hotel was a great experience.

GGuest UserWhen I was checking in, I was a little worried the staff would be unable to speak English. However the two receptionists who helped me were perfectly fluent and answered any questions I had. I did unfortunately have to pay a city tax on top of my room, but it wasn’t expensive and this is a common thing in most hotels in Europe.
The room itself was pretty decent and had plenty of space for my suitcase and to walk around. The en-suite was great and had good towels and hot shower. The bed was comfy with a good mattress and duvet wise, but the pillows were a bit limp and didn’t have a lot in them. I spoke to another member of staff who spoke little English, who said he’d look and bring one to my room, but this never happened. Whatever the case, still had a good sleep, would have better with extra head comfort.
As for breakfast, there was a great variety of choice from fry-up food (bacon, sausages, eggs) to continental pastries and drinks. I would say the only downside was there was not enough for fruit, as there was only a few apples and plates of sliced oranges. Would have been better if there was more to choose fruit wise, but everything else was great and was a good fuel up for the day in Cologne.
When checking out, they also allowed me to place my luggage and bags in their storage room with zero charge which is great when you’re exploring for the day and have a later departure time.
Overall, if you’re in Cologne for a day (like me) or two, this place is a great option and I would stay here again!
WWangxiaozhushizhenfengleThis hotel boasts an unbeatable location right next to Cologne Central Station, making it incredibly convenient for catching trains or exploring the city's attractions. You can walk to the main station and the cathedral in just a few minutes. The room layout is simple and practical, featuring a single bed, TV, and a small table and chairs – everything you need. It's clean and tidy, though the decor is quite minimalist and plain, without any extra frills. The service was standard; check-in was reasonably efficient, with no particular warmth but also no slip-ups. At around 650 RMB, the price is about what you'd expect for a central Cologne location. It's a good choice for travelers who prioritize convenience and don't require luxurious accommodations.

SSumethaThe hotel was in a great location, right by the cathedral and close to the shopping district and mainline train station. The room was big, spacious and clean. However unfortunately at the moment there is a lot of construction work happening behind the hotel where our room was and it was very hard to sleep with such loud noises from 7am we also had to leave the windows open as it was very warm and there was no air conditioning in the room which also didnt help.
There was a free coffee machine available to make hot drinks in the lobby to take to the room however it wasnt always working when we needed it.
Otherwise good value hotel.

GGuest UserThe hotel was nice if you're visiting Köln. But i guess we just had experienced a scary situation where someone was trying to Unlock the door at around 9pm when we're about to sleep. We got scared. Then when we heard that, i asked who's trying to open the door and it was a Family with 2 kids, so the receptionist gave us the wrong key for our booked room and they gave the Family the wrong key but with the same room number. No explanation was made what really happened at that exact moment from the receptionist , got no time to go down and ask the reception since we're tired from that day. But ofcourse we're already bothered and scared about that.
GGuest UserThe maid and the young guy at the reception are so kind with their great service mind but the rest are un-helpful. We book the family room but our building (4) has no lift. We have to carry our big bag down the stair.

CC3!!0A lovely little hotel in a medieval style. The rooms are perfectly adequate for a weekend stay or an overnight trip. A big plus is the excellent breakfast buffet, which starts as early as 6:30 AM. It's also perfect for business trips.
MMM123Room was clean, spacious, and comfortable with good value for money. Minor check-in hiccup with an unclean room, but staff handled it quickly and professionally. Good value overall—practical, reliable, and convenient for short stays.
GGuest Userthe room is clean, the owner is gentle and responsive. The only problem is there is no sound proof at all - considering this is a general flat problem, we can still bear with many random noises coming from outside or inside the building. But there are two permanent residents who share the flat with us cooking and talking to each other from 23pm to 1am, just outside our room. we felt weird to tell them to keep quiet as we are the 'temporary guest'. there must be some rules to be set up if the owner wants to mix long-term and short-term stays.
