3-Star Hotels in Semarang

The hotel has a great design. Although the rooms are small, the beds and pillows are clean and comfortable. You can watch the sunrise and sunset from the rooftop. The downsides are that there is no elevator, the staff is not well-trained, there is no restaurant, the parking lot is very small, and there are no slippers in the rooms.

I booked a room with a view of Semarang city from my room, but unfortunately, it was obstructed by hotel decorations. So the view was only visible through small gaps. Maybe it's because of the promotional price? Everything else was okay though.

I stayed at Noormans Hotel Semarang for a 2-day business trip, and overall, it was an excellent experience. The hotel room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, creating a relaxing environment after a full day of meetings. I especially appreciated the complete amenities, which made the stay convenient and hassle-free. With its good service and comfortable facilities, Noormans Hotel is a solid choice for business travelers. I’m happy to give it a 4.5 out of 5 and would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Semarang.

It's walking distance from Stasiun Tawang, just across the street. Osteria Gia, Journal Coffee just around the corner. Breakfast at the hotel is OK, could be better though, for instance better quality sourdough bread for Benedict Manon, Hometown Fried Rice perfect. Good coffee will be a plus, not as buffet setting. Room, bed and bedding, amenities all good. Towels better not use a strong softener fragrance. Overall good 👍 and will be back.

We're repeat guests here. Usually, we book the Deluxe room, but this time we opted for the Superior, thinking it was just a matter of room size. Our first impression upon entering was very unpleasant. We got a room in the furthest corner next to a storage room, even though the hotel wasn't full. The bed and pillows weren't clean and felt damp (dirty). We were very disappointed. We had no choice but to upgrade back to a Deluxe room and move rooms that very night, even though it was already very late (1 AM) and we were exhausted. We've already reported our complaint directly to management, but I apologize, I need to write it here again so they take it more seriously. I understand that certain hotels often have one or two rooms with a 'bad vibe,' and I know the hotel staff is aware of it. Please don't assign these rooms to guests unless absolutely necessary, especially when older people are staying. It leaves a very bad impression. It's a shame, as we always stay here whenever we visit Semarang.

Nice room with unique graphic painted wall. Overall decent stay. Room cliean, warm shower watwr, very cold air conditioning, and fast internet. What i like the most is the coffee machine provided in the room. Make my morning and charge for the day.  Chito the room attendance do his job well. Minus on limited car park space, but still managed well by the hotel team

The hotel is in a good location with easy access to nearby facilities. The service was excellent, and the staff were very kind, friendly, and helpful throughout my stay. The overall environment was comfortable and well-maintained. I would recommend this hotel to others and would be happy to stay here again in the future.

The hotel is quite old and very big, but everything is still well-maintained and in good condition. It offered good value for money for three people plus a friend. We enjoyed beautiful views of Mount Ungaran every morning. The breakfast was delicious, with a different menu offered daily – absolutely fantastic! One thing that made us quite reluctant to move was the incredibly long walk from the reception to the elevators. The restaurant is also quite a trek from the elevators, which is understandable given how massive this hotel is. If you're staying alone, I wouldn't recommend this hotel; you might get the creeps walking around by yourself, haha! However, if you're with a big group and kids, it's fine and not spooky. But precisely because the hotel is so huge, the distances to the elevators and restaurant are considerable, and it can feel incredibly deserted! 😭😭😱😱

Friendly staff, comfortable hotel and rooms. Breakfast has a good variety. The view of Semarang city from the balcony is excellent. Next time I'm in Semarang, I'll definitely come back to Fave.
