3-Star Hotels in Milan

The apartment left a really good impression, located in a safe and clean neighborhood. Convenient self check-in. It was clean, had modern renovations, and everything needed for a comfortable stay and cooking. There's a good supermarket nearby. We took the tram to the city center, and the metro station was a bit further away. Definitely recommend it. We'll stay here again next time.

I love how good the location is and how friendly was the staff. I would definitely recommend the hotel for solo or couple trip.

The location is fantastic, right next to the train and metro stations, and the airport shuttle bus terminal is just downstairs (€10 per person). It's convenient for getting to any attraction. There's air conditioning, so you can pop back to the hotel for a break when it's hot in the afternoon, grab a complimentary coffee, and then head to the food court across from the central station in the evening for some delicious food. It's truly delightful.

Spice Hotel Milano is conveniently located a short walk away from Milano Centrale Station, making it easy for arrival in and departure from Milan. The metro station entrance is just next to the hotel. In general, the area is safe if you keep to the main roads and don't stare or look at others while walking. You may want to keep away from the smaller streets after dark. Know where you are going to and be confident. You'll be fine. The room is reasonably priced, clean and decent size. Reception is friendly and you can keep your luggage at the hotel before check-in or after check-out. I would recommend this hotel and would stay again if I return to Milan.

Location: Very close to the Porta Venezia metro station, which offers convenient access to the Duomo and Santa Maria delle Grazie (where you can see 'The Last Supper'). It's a quiet area despite being central, with a food street nearby. Facilities: For a European hotel, it's relatively new. While the amenities are on par with a budget hotel back home, it does have a decent-sized elevator. Service: They offer 24-hour front desk service, and the staff's English is quite good. Cleanliness: Overall, it's very clean. A great choice among hotels in Milan! 👍

Being an Ibis hotel, part of the Accor group, the rooms are a bit small and the facilities show their age slightly, but for a budget hotel, it offers good value for money. There are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby, and the tram is close, but the subway station is a bit inconveniently located. I booked this hotel because the 4-star hotels near Milano Centrale Station were too expensive on my travel dates, and it's pretty much what I expected. It's decent for a value-for-money hotel. Note that parking is limited as the lot is small, and it costs 20 Euros per day. Breakfast is a mediocre, not-so-great continental buffet.

Not sure if it was because we arrived late on the first day, but the room we were given wasn't great. Two out of three lights in the bathroom were out, and the toilet seat cover had fallen off. After reporting it to the front desk the next morning, they promptly moved us to another room.

The hotel is very old, from the elevator to the rooms and the bathroom. The room had a distinct musty smell, probably due to the age of the building. However, everything was very clean. The bathroom was spotless, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The location is excellent, close to the central train and bus stations, and only about 150 meters from the metro station.

We arrived at 11pm in the night from Milan Centrale. It took us roughly 10 minutes dragging 2 large heavy suitcases. The hotel was clearly signposted and the area felt safe and was not dodgy. We were greeted by a very kind lady at reception who quickly checked us in. We asked for a quiet room, and she said that perfectly sound proof rooms are not possible this close to the train station. We got a room facing the train station on the 4th floor, but slept very well. The train rumbling could be felt, but we could not really hear anything so that was fine. There was some noise as the people next door either chatted as they were getting out or coming in, but it was not more than 2 minutes. Blackout curtains were excellent, and the shower was heavenly. Bedsheets and towels and pillow cases were really really clean. Charging points were a bit lacking (we took out the TV plug) and the wooden shutters looked dated, but our bathroom must have been renovated because it was absolutely SPOTLESS. We were able to leave our luggage at check out. Location is great for trains, and airport, but for exploring Milan, I would recommend you get a day transit pass as the Duomo and other stuff is a bit of a walk away. We came back in the evening to collect our suitcases and the evening receptionist was also very friendly and polite and patient with all our questions. Could not recommend enough for a short trip.
